TTC#2 April 20192. It's supposed to be 78 here today!
3. DS is all of a sudden so full of words -- it's fun to hear his little voice.
4. DH actually cleaned the kitchen last night which was lovely to come downstairs to this morning.
5. I'm really looking forward to DD's birthday party this weekend.
6. I brought yummy leftovers (grilled pork, broccoli) for lunch today.
7. DH and I took both cars to the car wash this weekend. I love car washes.
8. I actually got to dream Saturday night for the first time in a long time.
9. We just signed a contract with a landscaper to redo our backyard. Looking forward to it!
10. I need to pull out my short sleeve shirts.
2. H and I finally cleaned out the nursery. Tonight we are shampooing the carpets in it. I'm itching to get that room decorated!
3. I ate stuffed peppers yesterday for lunch and they were amazing. I wish I had more to bring.
4. Last night for dinner I put together french bread, pizza sauce, and toppings and made pizza boats. They were amazing. H loved them.
5. Tonight for dinner I'm thinking about making hot ham and cheese sliders.
6. I'm wearing one of my favorite shirts today and its really tight on my tummy now which make me happy.
7. I think we're close to settling on a girl's name! We have the first name and maybe the middle name now. We've had our boy name for awhile now.
8. I have a hole in my muffler so I've been driving H's car which has been nice because his drives much smoother than mine
9. H has asked me a few times what I want for Mother's Day. I think its cute that he wants to get me something.
10. It's nice to be able to eat something and not feel like I'm gonna throw it up.

2) If all looks good at the u/s today. We plan to post our announcement on social media either tonight or tomorrow. I'm excited for the news to finally be shared with everyone. We live so far away from our family and friends that it's been hard to call/text or facetime everyone.
3) I'm still excited by all of the awesome deals I got at the Gap Maternity sale this weekend.
4) Maternity pants are amazing. Using a hair elastic to close my pants was getting old even with the bella band.
5) We are going to look at a new car tonight for DH.
6) I'm looking forward to moving on Sunday. I can't wait to be out of this condo.
7) There is leftover DQ blizzard ice cream cake in the freezer from DH's birthday. I want to eat it all.
8) I finally got my Prenatal Barre DVD in the mail and can't wait to try it today.
9) I can't wait to head to Kentucky in a few weeks to see my little brother graduate from college.
10) It is supposed to be 82F here today and I'm loving this gorgeous weather.
2. On the bright side, no particular pressure to take baby and puppy outside to play today since the weather isn't that glorious.
3. @ShallowSeas I want pizza boats! Maybe I can nip out to the store for the necessary stuff this afternoon.
4. I gave our puppy a frozen raw beef bone because he's teething and it's making him SO happy.
5. Downside, now my house smells nauseating.
6. DD is all better from her stomach bug! She's STARVING today! She ate 3 scrambled eggs and 2 huge strawberries for breakfast.
7. I just ordered my birthday cake (chocolate ganache NOM) and I got one two sizes bigger than the woman at the bakery suggested I'd need for the number of people who will be eating it.
8. My mom is a cake snob (why would you ever buy a cake? I can make a *way* better cake than that) so she's also making me a pretty bomb chocolate cake for our family birthday dinner.
9. I asked to do the birthday dinner with my family not on my actual birthday so I can have the chocolate cake my mom wants to bake me AND that chocolate ganache cake from my fav bakery without hurting my mom's feelings. There's about to be SO much cake in my life. Hooray!
10. My tulips are staring to bloom today, even though they got snowed on 2-3 times since sprouting. Those are some lovely resilient flowers!
2. I have clinicals today, only 2 to go after this one
3. We found the cutest book called Find Momo and now I'm obsessed with #findmomo on instagram (it's a dog that goes on a lot of road trips). Looking forward to showing to LO when they're old enough.
4. It cooled off a bit, which is good since everyone is too lazy to start up the air conditioning just yet.
5. I'm about to order my nursing graduation pin. Some of the fancy ones are silly expensive. I actually like the old school ones with the lamps on them so I think I'll go with that.
6. Graduation is in just over 3 weeks!
7. My resume is made
8. I'm out of ideas. I'm not that interesting, lol.

2. I am addicted to cashews and Otter Pops.
3. It's going to be 90 degrees today. Holy smokes! Looking into getting a little inflatable baby pool for DS.
4. We're going to our weekly Mommy & Me type class in a few hours. It's one of my favorite parts of the week because we get to get out of the house and socialize lol
5. Everyone is convinced this LO is going to be a girl ...
6. I really need to pluck my eyebrows ... and paint my toenails ... and shave my legs ... I'm a mess. But hey, at least I'm showered, dressed, and managed to put on makeup this morning.
7. I can't wait to announce this baby to the world in a week or two!
8. Can they please invent a magic pill for dogs to make them stop shedding? We have a black lab and light-colored hardwood floors and it drives me insane.
9. Frozen Yogurt sounds really good right now.
10. Which should I watch on Netflix first — the new season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or How to Get Away with Murder? Tough, first world choices ... lol
2. I start my vacation this weekend - can't wait!
3. DH cleaned and re-arranged the living room/kitchen yesterday and it looks really nice.
4. DH and I did major spring cleaning this weekend and I still feel accomplished from it!
5. The weather here is gorgeous.
6. Maternity pants. I wore my regular pants with a belly band yesterday and it annoyed me SO much all day so I just bit the bullet and wore maternity pants today. I totally look 6 months pregnant (yay bloat!) but I don't even care. I just keep complaining about gaining weight (I haven't yet) and hope people think I'm fatter than normal.
7. Online auction sites. I buy all my maternity clothing online for cheap prices. I need variety and can't stomach paying $40 for a shirt I'll wear for 3 months.
8. I washed all the blankets (so. many. blankets) from around the house this weekend and it's so nice to cuddle up to a blanket that doesn't stink like dog or pee. Ha!
9. My MIL is coming to pick up the dog for us while we're on vacation; so grateful to her for doing this for us!
10. I do feel bad about the extra fur she's going to accumulate in her adventure, though. I found this pic online and it's basically my life (huskies for life):
2) I love my maternity shorts. So, so comfy.
3) I'm back in glasses as contacts are uncomfortable. I forgot pregnancy changes your eyesight.
4) Pixar knows how to kick you right in the feels. I can't even with Toy Story 3 right now.
5) I'm rereading the Outlander series for like the 8th time. So good.
6) Ordered some Havianas from VS, can't wait to live in flip flops this summer
7) Maxi dresses are the best for being pregnant in the summer
8) Note to self: research this season's water tables for DS. He loved the pirate ship one but we sold when we moved. Need moarrrr
9) I can't wait for him to run through his first sprinkler
10) He keeps randomly turning his head while we snuggle to plant kisses on me, my face, my knee, my boob, my cheek and then he turns back to whatever like nothing happened. I melt into goo.

2. Currently in immunology block. Way less interesting than repro.
3. I'm starting to lean much more towards OB/Gyn instead of family.
4. I miss the ocean desperately.
5. Realized my NT scan was actually scheduled for 14+0 and it's supposed to be 13+6 at the latest, so I called. They rescheduled it from May 9th to April 29th (12+4)! Yay!
6. My 17 year old cat snores really loudly.
7. I wish I could sleep that deeply.
8. My back is killing me.
9. Think I might go swimming to help with my back.
10. I can pretend to be a submarine since I have a passenger.

2) We had a pizza party today to thank the people who came in to work weekends to keep our lab testing going 24x7 for 2 months. The project manager ordered 12 pizzas for like 15 people. I never thought there was such a thing as too much pizza. There was too much pizza
3) Now I have a stomach ache from said pizza.
4) Today started out kind of crappy, but now it's sunny and 60
5) We refinanced our mortgage yesterday, and now we're locked into a super low rate for 30 years, and no more PMI! Yay!
6) Only 6 more days until my 1st u/s and I am SO EXCITED, but also a little bit terrified
7) We finally got the official OK to create the position my boss wants to promote me into. We've been working on creating this position for months. The extra money will be super helpful with LO on the way!
8) We bought our dog a bandanna that says "Guess who's going to be a big brother!"
9) I'm running out of excuses to not go out with my friends. So far the "I'm not drinking on weeknights" excuse has worked like a charm, but the fake drinking (secretly sneaking to the bar to order mocktails, filling beer bottles with water, drinking horrible tasting non-alcohol wine) on weekends has been exhausting. I can't wait until we can finally tell everyone.
10) I can't believe it's already almost May! I can't wait for summer, and boating on the lake, and fruity mocktails, and comfy, flowy summer dresses, and hearing loon calls, and watermelon, and and and...!!!

It it was the equivalent of about 80°f here yesterday. Tempts in the high 90s aren't terribly out of the norm during the summer.

2. I think my brain has tricked my body into getting migraines every other day because it knows I'll give it coffee if it does.
3. (Right now H and I are working through a bag of Yirgacheffe from our favorite roaster in Milwaukee, so the temptation is extra real.)
4. Just saw this on Buzzfeed, and it seemed appropriate: https://www.buzzfeed.com/jarrylee/ah-yes-very-baby#.cj9mAMeMX.
5. @mom2fallbabies Any recommendations for online auction sites? I like the way you think!
6. Sorry if TMI, but it's been a couple months now since I did any grooming to my down-there hair, and it makes me feel super gross. Fortunately, H doesn't seem to mind! We've had sex so infrequently since morning sickness set it that I honestly don't think he even notices it; he's just ready to go.
7. I'm going to *try* to cook dinner tonight. Cooking and baking are by far my favorite hobbies, but our kitchen has this irreparably dingy smell that has prevented me from spending more than a couple minutes in there for a few weeks.
8. I decided on a boy's name a few days ago that I now have my heart set on. I have yet to bring it up to H though, because as long as I don't mention it he can't say no...
9. It's actually a very common name according to popularity ratings, which goes against my original insistence that it be a more unique name. (Our last name is Smith, so I felt like our hypothetical son's first name should have a little more character.) But now that I think about it, "unique" names are now so trendy and common, picking a unique name is kind of counter-productive... Plus, the name I like is common because it's classic, not because it's trendy, and it's also my grandfather's first name, so it would actually have some real meaning to me. (<<This is me thinking out loud--not judging anyone else's name choices/strategies.)
10. I want donuts.
1. Only 2 hours left of work then I'm done for the day
must destroy the evidence!
2. I actually left work at lunch to work from home the rest of the day, my pants were uncomfortable as was my bra
3. I'm now in H's sweats and a comfy shirt with no bra!
4. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home to get pasta for dinner tonight and walked right past the pickles, mmm I love pickles, I got a jar of baby dills and may have already eaten half of said jar
5. I may eat the other half before H gets home from work
6. H has been doting on me and I can't wait to cook him his favorite meal tonight
7. I'm getting a pedi soon, my poor feet need some attention
8. I'm also get a massage soon! My ob/gyn office has this whole special pregnancy program and give you gifts at every appointment. First apt got some reading material, a massage certificate and a certificate to meet with their dietician twice. It's pretty awesome!
9. My silly H turned on the AC a couple of days ago because he just couldn't take it *eye roll* it's now 45f out and the heat is on *double eye roll*
10. My Wild beat the Stars last night, I hope they keep playing this well, I love playoff hockey!
ETA: I'm asking all of the important questions, clearly.

So (***TMI warning maybe..I dunno, grow up, pubes happen)
I just had DH take care of my .... topiary work? Towards the end anyways. I walked out of the bathroom last time after attempting to shave/shape my cootchie and DH laughed his ass off at me. It was totally lopsided apparently. Not much you can do besides squat over a mirror at that point and no one really wants to see that business up close. I sat on a stool in the bathtub (haha, omg I can't believe I'm admitting this) and he sat next to the tub and shaved my legs/bits every few days. I could have swung the legs myself but it became too tiresome and I got nervous about getting up off the tub floor by myself. If it leads to getting some action, all the better to bring labor on and trust me, you'll be trying EVERYTHING.
At that point in the pregnancy you are willing to delegate to your partner and they are only too happy to help. They see you turning into a beach ball on toothpicks and naturally want to do what they can, for the most part. I got away with a lot. I remember one time I couldn't get off the couch, I was like a turtle on my back. He had to save me.
You get nervous towards your due date because you know that there will (in most births) be A LOT of people who see your vag. To check your dilation, clean you up if your water breaks, to put your monitor on, etc. It happens and you will have no shame. So I get you wanting to be tidy up in thurr. Some women got waxes every week before (masochistic, your skin is uber sensitive especially then) I just recommend your partner helping out or buying a bitty lady trimmer.
Unless, of course you don't mind sporting Don King in a kneelock. To each their own.
@HomeyDontPlayThat Thank you!! Looking forward to these fun times ahead... DH has a huge beard that he shapes with a trimmer regularly, so it shouldn't be that different, right..?
re trimming your lady garden. I just went in blind and did what I could do with my razor. This time I will totally invest in lady trimmer.
But by the end I totally didn't care. I figured they had seen worse.
2. I'm loving this warm weather!
3. I've made like $100 on VarageSale in the last week!
4. It's my birthday in eight days!
5. I was born on my dad's birthday
6. My cat is a jerk and keeps trying to escape because of the nice weather (he's strictly an indoor cat but does get to explore the yard in a harness)
7. I'm constantly hungry, until I'm bloated, then I'm hungry again in an hour
8. Three days till we announce to friends/family that we're expecting
9. DH and I are finally making some progress in our to do list
10. I want to get the nursery fully cleaned out this weekend so DH can paint it!
edit: spelling is hard
1. Ultrasound is tomorrow and it can't come fast enough
2. Since my endo changed my thyroid medication dosage I have has less insomnia
3. My little boy was so cute this morning.
4. Wearing my pants with no zippers or buttons from New York & Co. so I am pretty comfortable
5. I keep telling people the news. Of course with the caveat that is has not been confirmed by the doctor yet.
6. I am a blabber mouth so no matter what I will fill people in.
7. We have leftover taco fixings from last night so dinner is already cooked!
8. I had a super crazy sex dream the other night. I was exhausted when I woke up
9. I saw a 5 month old baby and remembered how nice it is before babies become mobile
10. My MIL is coming over tonight so she can keep LO entertained while I put my feet up!
I love DH and all, but I'm not sure I trust him down there with a razor. I've seen how he shaves his face, and I'm just not so sure about putting my most delicate parts in his hasty hands. Legs... maybe. I can't handle my legs being too stubbley because they get itchy and I hate the feeling when they rub together when not completely smooth. I'll probably just compromise and go the lady trimmer route with the other parts. I think both he and I can probably deal with it not being totally silky smooth for a little while. Besides, postpartum I figure it'll be a mess down there no matter how well it's groomed, so I don't know how much energy I'll be putting into keeping it "pretty" at the very end, haha!
@ShallowSeas I'm totally googling razor extender later!
Can someone just zap all of my unwanted body hair off me without it costing me thousands of dollars? That'd make my life a whole lot easier in general.

1. I'm sitting in the waiting room of my therapists office. I go to therapy every week and have for the last 10 years. I love it.
2. On the topic on hair, I don't shave anything but my legs. That's right, I have a full bush and hairy armpits.
3. Yesterday I took a me day. My bday was last week and I got a little dough so I hired a babysitter and got a massage and went to yoga. I was such a better mommy and wife that evening.
4. Each week, hubs and I give each other a night too ourselves. That means we don't have to come home after to work to baby and dog and responsibilities and can just leave and do what we want until when ever we want to. I love knowing that each week I have a little built in time to myself.
5. I went to several nursing homes to meet wth clients today. Nursing homes are some of my least favorite places and residents have no rights. It's terrifying.
6. I voted today.
7. My son got into the daycare/preschool I've wanted forever! We've been on the waiting list since I was pregnant! It's an awesome program and is subsidized by my work. He can stay there till kindergarten. Im so happy.
8. I ramen for dinner and a chipwich for dessert. Yum.
9. I've orders two pairs of these shoes I want and neither size fits. Do I order a third?
10. I CANNOT WAIT for Game of Thrones on Sunday!!!!!!
1) We're choosing a paint color for the nursery this weekend & DH is going to paint!
2) I'm going to be 10w tomorrow and I think I'm going to start my "bump pics".
3) I feel like my dog hates me. I've read a few things that say pregnant women smell different to animals?
4) When my PGAL brain doesn't get in the way, I'm SUPER excited to have a baby for the holidays!
5) I'm terrified of my feet growing (permanently). I have a very nice shoe collection and it would be heartbreaking.
6) I want more potato salad.
7) I'm hoping Apple comes out with an upgraded MacBook Pro this year (mine is 4yrs old & I want a new one).
8) I cleaned off all of our patio furniture on Saturday and I'm excited the weather has been nice enough to use it!
9) Our wine collection is really neglected. Up-side is that our reds will continue to age well.
10) I miss sushi.
