What's new with baby (size, development):strawberry

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: We are telling my brothers and daughter this week!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Past week I've been super bloated/nauseous/gassy in the afternoon/evening but I think I'm coming around.

When is your next appointment: tomorrow!! First OB appointment.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I did. Bother my junior and senior year. Nothing crazy exciting. The usual limo, dinner, dancing, drinking shenanigans.

    Week: 11

What's new with baby (size, development): A lime? Must be key a key lime or something though, because I don't recall ever having seen a lime at the grocery store that was only 1.6 inches... I love to think that he or she is now moving around in there!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I accepted a freelancing assignment on top of my normal job over the weekend. Trying to bring in a little extra money counts as getting ready for the baby, right? We also told all our family members and close friends over the weekend!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I can't get a good gauge on my symptoms... Saturday I felt amazing, like almost back to normal, and we spent the afternoon at the zoo to celebrate. I don't think I was intentional enough about hydrating though, which led to a Sunday of untreatable migraines and lots of vomit. Today I feel much better than yesterday, but I'm sort of back to where I was around week 6--fighting a queasy stomach, but not actually throwing up. I'm hoping that if I tell myself repeatedly that I'm getting better, I can psych my body into making it true. We'll see if it works.

When is your next appointment: Blood work on Friday, OB on 5/3.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I actually went to prom four times... Sophomore year a friend (who was a junior) invited me to go with him, and senior year I also went with one of my best guy friends. Junior year I was dating a guy who went to a different school, so we went to both of ours. No crazy stories, but the guy I dated junior year went to a super fancy private school, so their prom was pretty spectacular, and they had this amazing casino-themed after party. It was a ton of fun!!

I read somewhere that it is a key lime, not a regular lime. I thought "WHOA a lime?!" Didn't seem right :)

What's new with baby (size, development): size of a raspberry, no more tail hehe

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:  nothing this week, maybe paint the living room since its still unfinished.  Telling hubbys brother this weekend when we go out of town

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: still pretty queasy, skin is a mess

When is your next appointment: May 10th I believe

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories?
Yes I went to prom 2 or 3 times. The best one was when we went to a prom at another school, my best friend and I were dating guys from that school and worked with a ton of kids from there so we went as a group and it was just fun!

  • @shallowseas I'm sorry you're dealing with it too! It's *awful.* I always had some itchiness during pregnancy, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is moving around all over the place in there! Tooth buds and nails are forming and growing. About the size of a brussel sprout or small lime.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Planning how to tell work mid next week at a staff meeting!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I have headaches now in the mornings and these dreams are crazy!! I had a dream that my baby was 38 POUNDS ALREADY! haha so, so strange! Feeling much better just tired for the most part.

When is your next appointment: the 27th

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories?
I went my senior year and it was nothing too crazy. We did get locked out of my boyfriend's house and he had to climb on the roof to get in though!

I didn't even think about it being a pregnancy thing. My back, arms, legs, and chest are itchy.  It almost feels like fleas are biting me, but there's nothing on me and no bites. I guess I'll mention it to my OB next week at my appointment.

  • Week: 11 (ticker is a day early for some reason)

What's new with baby (size, development):
Size of a key lime. Babys fingers and toes are no longer webbed and he/she is moving like crazy(not that I can feel it yet, can't wait for that!)

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Nothing right now, just still searching for a bigger place.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Should be getting my Harmony results today or tomorrow! Also we are heading to the beach today and it's supposed to be super nice the next couple days. DS will get to play in the sand for the first time(:

When is your next appointment: May 2nd

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories?
Oh jeez, I did go to prom my junior year and had a strict curfew of 3 am lol. Everyone else stayed the night at our friends house but not I, daddio was knocking on the door at 245.
  • Week: 8

What's new with baby (size, development): raspberry, itty bitty chameleon, etc.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Had an u/s today and everything looked great!

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Just told my sister and
    *TW loss*
due to my previous loss, one of the first things she said was that she'd be waiting to tell her kids this time. That was kind of a bummer. I'm sure they were sad after the last one and I get it but I just wish she hadn't said that. I would like 5 minutes to not think about it. She's had losses too so I'm kind of surprised she'd say that. But she's very old school and believes in not telling a soul until 12 weeks, so.

When is your next appointment: Friday, just run of the mill peeing in cups and such.

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday's post) Did you go to prom? Any good stories? I didn't have a date (womp womp) but had way more fun than my friends that did ask people out just so they could say they had a date so HA. I saw some kids getting pics before prom the other day and it was funny to me because I cared so much when I was 18 but now I barely remember it.
