This post might be all over the place but I haven't been on here in awhile. Anyways, 12+ months of TTC and still nothing. Went to the doc and she scheduled me for the CD 3 and 21 blood work to check my levels and see if I am in fact ovulating. So naturally, I am a week late for my period and BFN. Just figures. Just feeling discouraged and need to vent. All my sister in laws are pregnant (so happy for more nieces and nephews!) but I just find myself feeling sad about my situation. Ugh! So I guess my questions are: according to my calendar I would be 4 weeks pregnant if I was, which I took a test and it was negative. Could it still be too early? Has anyone done the 3 and 21 day bloodwork? What was your experience? Sorry this is so all over the place!
Re: Venting/Advice
Unfortunately with being a week late and BFN it's likely AF is just late. But fingers crossed for you for a BFP. I had a similar issue at Xmas, I had recently dis covered my cycle runs naturally around 31-33 days but AF was over a week late on top of that. AF came at 42 days. I was devestated. But I really think that stress played a huge role for me. Have you been stressed recently?
I'm not 100% about the blood work. I just had my fertility apt last week and she wants a ton of testing done. .. I'm a little overwhelmed myself. Ultrasound and blood work on CD 3, 5, 11-15 and a week later. As well as transvaginal checks, sonohistogram sometime between 11-15 and a uterine wall biopsy. Kinda scares the crap out of me tbh!
Keeping my fingers crossed that this is a short stay for you!
