How did you know when to stop taking Diclegis?

Sounds like that is a good question for your doctor. They are the best person to help you get off any medications you are on. They might suggest you take smaller doses to see how you feel before going off of it completely.

Thanks Lauren, I have already discussed it with my doctor but I am looking for answers from people that have experience going off it since it's a morning sickness medication.

 Diclegis is basically unisom and B6, available by prescription for convenience. The labeling says (as always) to talk to your doctor before stopping the medication, but I wouldn't feel super nervous about it. What did your doc say?

I would say if you're feeling better, and maybe you have a day that you have no plans, try not taking it the day before that day? Just to see if your nausea returns.  I haven't taken my sample they gave me yet, but I wondered the same myself.

When the baby is born, just in case? Ha, I'm only half kidding - I'm terrified of stopping it and the MS returning full force! It's helped me so much but I still feel bad many evenings and am still throwing up occasionally.

I'm going to continue taking the full dose for the rest of this tri. Once the second trimester comes, I'm going to stop taking the one in the afternoon for a few days, and then the morning, and then one at night. I ended up taking a half of unisom at night through most of my second trimester with DD....so I'll just see how I feel and adjust accordingly.

Thanks ladies! My doctor said when I start feeling better I could stop taking it. I'm so nervous and terrified to feel sick. I don't know how I can know I feel better when I'm taking a pill to help with that. I agree I can try on a day I don't have anything planned. I just wondered what everyone else's experience was.
