FFFC

Re: FFFC

  • This weekend is the big mile long yard sale for our little town. People start setting up their yard sales on Thursday. Yesterday we went out looking at some of them. My eyes are out for baby stuff. I got pissed at FI because he was buying stuff that I consider junk. And will probably be even more pissed when he buys more junk this weekend.

  • I called a meeting with HR and my supervisor for tomorrow at work so I can blast my twatwaffle coworker who outed my pregnancy to the rest of my coworkers. I know I'm being a bitch but it will make me feel better to get my rage out.

  • I'm terrified of waxing so last pregnancy I asked my husband to help me shave down there. He looked at me like I had grown a second head so I said, "Just be a man and do it." He did not. So I just winged it and hoped for the best.

Eta my FFC: I'm a curmudgeon. I hate small talk and although most would describe me as polite and friendly, it's all an act. I am pretty introverted and a major homebody, but I'm excellent at socializing because I've worked in retail and the food industry for 17 years.
I am not a small talker either. I hate when the grocery store checker wants to ask me about everything I'm buying. Just ring it up so I can get out of here!
  • I started typing this like 3 different times but felt like an ass every time I said it and deleted...here goes!
I (and DH) are secretly pleased about the fact that one of my best friends is divorcing her H.
She found out he has been cheating on her and now she's finally going to move forward with leaving his ass. We didn't care for him anyway and just tolerated being around him b/c we love her, but he's been distant lately and a complete jerk to her. I think this is what she needed to help her pull the trigger and I'm so glad he's going to be out of everyone's lives soon. That said, I'm sad to see my friend's heart broken and wish it didn't have to end this way for her....
  • @simcal18 I am that person on public transportation that WILL ask people to move their bag, etc, so others can sit down.  And you'd better believe I will start asking people who sit in the priority seats (that are supposed to be given to elderly/disabled/pregnant women) but look just fine to give me a seat when I'm heavily pregnant.  The London Underground gives pregnant women stickers to wear so that people will give up their seats for the ladies-I wish we had that here.
  • My FFFC is that I'm kinda glad DH has to go out of town all next week for a work thing. I'm looking forward to eating whatever I want without having to smell or consider another person and I will be sleeping ALL over the bed and will probably dispense with pants (he actually would be okay with me going pantless....)
  • I have another: I might have a small online shopping problem, but I justify it to myself and my husband by using coupon codes religiously and shopping through ebates to earn cash back.

  • @annabenanna I totally used to have one and all I followed were fetishes and bdsm pages. Whoops!
  • I cannot WAIT to drop my preschooler off at school and put my toddler down for a nap today. 20 minutes and counting. I plan to color and eat a donut during my kid free time. Today has been a rough day.

  • Hahahaha, love that @rozANDbenSINCE2001 !  Get it girl!  Gosh, speaking of cute undies.  I totally need new cute undies that I can wear pregnant.  I look ridic in the tiny sexy ones I have for sexy time. lol.
  • @annabenanna I hear ya! I need to clean out my undies drawer...I think I might be an undies hoarder because I never throw any away, even the itty bitty thongs that I haven't worn since high school.

  • I have a new confession too since I'm not sure when it is socially acceptable to do this (or at what stage in your pregnancy).

We we ordered the cribs, dresser, changing topper, glider, and mattresses for the nursery already. The dresser just showed up at the house. I'm so excited!
  • I want to feel sexy again so I actually initiate sexy time. My libido and self esteem need help! FI tries and is kind about my bodily changes, I just beat MYSELF up.
  • @sjo&thetwins I already had to go underwear shopping

  • My dog puked once this morning, so naturally I took a "work from home" day because I HAD to keep an eye on her. She's perfectly fine.

Now I am sitting outside at Chick-fil-a (also known as Hate Chicken) eating waffles fries but I'm not sure which I'm in it for, the fries or ketchup.
  • @sjo&thetwins Underwear that is too tight is my pet peeve. I HATE having bulges. I have 2 pair left that fit me the way I like and all the others are rage inducing. It makes me so sad.

  • So we ALL need to go underwear shopping, apparently.

Any tips on where?  I like target's seamless underwear line... but they aren't maternity.  Are maternity undies that much more comfy?
  • Here you get two parking spots in front of your house and the overflow gets curb parking. Legally, according to the land plat and deeds, you own those spots. My neighbor double parks her stupid SUV. A few days ago she parked in front of me and I had to 5 point turn out of my spot and couldn't get back in so DH is now taking up 1/2 of the spot at the house next to ours.

She hasn't moved it so tonight we are giving her until tomorrow morning before I call to tow her off my property.

  • I wear Hanky Panky.  They're one size fits all, and although they're expensive, they last for years, they're crazy comfortable, and they are great options for maternity as well as normal underwear.
  • +1 for Hanky Panky. They're great. The VS Lacie is really similar and nearly as comfortable.

  • @agogo1 i have to agree with you about the objectification of women in porn.  There's a lot of porn out there that does this.  I actually hate seeing certain categories: like facials for example.... but for the most part, I feel like porn has changed.  There's now a lot of variety and a lot of them are geared towards women--But I do understand that porn isn't for everybody..
  • I like that some porn objectives women - in a completely dirty way, of course. Girl on girl doesn't do much for me (usually throws people through a loop since I am gay!) but male female does and ones where SOMEONE is being objectified, turns me on - because I love the feeling of someone being more dominant or submissive during sex. In my head, porn is just that - porn. It's a movie (with awful acting) about sex and all the dirty nasties you can do. We don't hate movies that objective women or men, so to me it's kind of the same thing.

I like chicks doing their thing too, don't get me wrong. More power to you, woman! But then again, I just don't really see it as objectifying when you can choose what kind of porn you want to watch and porn is made exclusively for that purpose - people's fantasies.
  • DH recently asked me if we could have an open relationship. I was shocked and even considered it. At this time we have decided that its not what either of us really wants. He just wanted more sex. He doesn't like the idea of me being with someone else but seems to have no qualms with the idea of sleeping with others(ass hat). He freaked out when I wanted to get a bigger dildo (a few weeks before asking me about this). I asked him if he really thought he could handle that after pouting about a silicone dick. HA. Can you really only sleep with one person for the rest of your life after marriage? I think I'm fine with it. I only wish I had slept around more before getting married to have more experience.

  • @jillianpardo there is a chance he asked that as retaliation to you asking about a bigger dildo. Since he freaked out, it probably hurt his man feels and he might have just been trying to get a rise out of you and hurt yours? Obviously I don't know your specific situation, but it's a theory.

In regards to your experience comment, check out the "bad girl's bible". My numbers are not off the charts with partners and experience so that was a cool read, and you can sign up for e-mails with weekly tips. I've done TOOONS of research on how to keep my partner satisfied and keep things spiced up (just for fun on my own behalf) it's been great to have a bag of tricks. I am not a "freak" by any means, I'm a love maker by nature, but if I can tell by his body language that things seem a bit dull, I put on my slut face and fuck shit up. It's a pleasant surprise for him, which in turn makes him want to be a man whore for me, so it works out pretty well haha I think sexual monogamy is totally possible, and I will advocate it til the day I die, but it takes work, openness, and yes, some research to keep stuff juicy. Bonus: Looking stuff up is fun and turns me on anyway

My MIL very generously offered to buy our nursery furniture (which we have already picked), and I don't think we can hold her off much longer, so we will probably be right there with you before too long. Even though the room is nowhere near ready for it!

In her email, she said, "Even though you won't put the crib up til the baby's here, of course. Old wives tale" Is that really a thing? I feel like I see friends post pics of complete nurseries way before delivery. I was planning on having everything set up before he or she comes.

How does one size underwear work? I'm a size 20 with a large booty, I don't understand this.

  • I've had sex one time in the last ten weeks and I feel bad for mu husband, but not enough to do it. My SPD is nuts this go around and while we dtd a bunch last pregnancy, I could be happy not having sex for another ten weeks.

  • @jillianpardo I think people usually wish they did what they didn't. I slept around A LOT and now that I have my husband, I wish I hadn't. I feel dirty just thinking of all the men who've touched me.  :#
