  • @mrsschmity good luck on your test!
  • @edeibel89 Thank you! And yes, I've had some pretty effed up dreams too.
@DeePaddy24 I thought I was going to get by with a couple of maternity tshirts and be good, but my belly just keeps growing out. The struggle is real.
@BakerBird525 Thank you! Yeah I have a feeling the pinching is baby kicking my cervix. It does not feel good. I wish I were as productive as you lately!
@crdo Good luck at your appt today! And I can't wait to see pics of the finished kitchen reno!
@Shanna2016 Good luck at the appt today!
  • @mrsschmity Good Luck on your test.

How far along are you? 31 +4

Rants/raves/symptoms: Rants....I need sleep. Raves: It is humpday. Soon the weekend will be here. Symptoms: Same.

Questions: I have pinching pain too, but it has been different than lightening crotch. Lightening crotch to me has felt like sharp shooting intense pains, but it could feel different for others.

Crazy dreams? OH YES!!!! I wake up drentched in sweat, heart racing, and almost in a panic.

    GTKY: Eyeliner.

I asked H if he wanted to feel what I assume is a foot and he didn't believe me and then when he felt it, he freaked out.  It made me laugh.

H was feeling my belly the other day and all of a sudden goes "OH MY GOSH! That feels like a body part!"  I laughed so hard because, yes, there is a baby with body parts in there.  I think before he had only really felt a bump, and then he felt a foot or something for the first time.
  • @mrsmartinez16 my boobs have started feeling achey again too. I read in What to Expect that there is a surge of hormones in the third tri that can cause the reappearance of major mood swings, so I'm guessing the booby ache could be from that too. I haven't leaked or anything yet, tho, so it could be lactation?
  • edeibel89 That's what I was thinking it might be but like you, no leaking. I'm just assuming it's a good sign lol

  • @ahernandez16 - My stomach does that too and I've been assuming that it's BH.  But I'm pretty oblivious, so I would't take my word for it.  Congrats to your friend!

  • @kwife15 I have until the end of May to take the test, but my goal is to have it done by the end of this month if I can!
  • @chelseay416 my daughter wouldn't budge 2 weeks past my due date so I was induced with her.  I didn't mind it at all as it gave us the chance to plan that day carefully.  Induction started around 8am and by 8:45pm, there she was.  I do recommend an epidural asap if you're induced though, as apparently the pain is much worse than non-induced.
  • How far along are you? 32 weeks today.

Rants/raves/symptoms: Rants: Crazy week at work and feeling overwhelmed. Rave: Someone bought our travel system! I need to stop stalking the registry... Symptoms: Shitty sleep.  Horrible heartburn.  Stupid swelling.

What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nothing in particular lately... gestating.

GTKY: When you wear makeup, what's your must have makeup item of choice? I have to wear foundation because my skin is crappy, but my fave is eyeliner and mascara.

Hah my sister pleaded with me to stop stalking my registry so I wont be disappointed in case not everything I wanted was bought. It's hard when there's stuff we really need on it

  • @chelseay416 I was induced with my first.  We went in on Sunday night with the plan that they would "ripen my cervix" that night (they give you some kind of medication that makes it easier to go into labor with the Pitocin) and then they were going to give me the Pitocin the next morning.  But the first medicine put me into labor and I dilated from a 2 to a 10 in 3 hours.  I definitely liked being able to plan when I was going to the hospital.  I was able to shower, straighten my hair, no worries about a baby on the side of the freeway.  Also, it was nice knowing that my husband would be there to drive me and be there from the very beginning, vs. if my water broke at work or something.  We also rented some movies that we took to the hospital to watch while I was in labor.  It was a very stress free way to do it!
  • How far along are you? 29 weeks today!

Rants/raves/symptoms: Rants: none at the moment

Raves: I love getting to leave work 6 hours early! The weather is gorgeous and a local delivery started selling middle eastern cuisine! Currently munching an amazing falafel, I didn't have to drive a half hour +  to buy!

    Symptoms: baby kic

  • @colesmom33 good to know! Those were the benefits I was thinking about too. We live about an hour minimum from the hospital and i'm terrified i'll go into labor during rush hour and it will take 2 hours just to get to the hospital, so if i could plan ahead, that would obviously help a lot.
