Hello, I'd like to be added to the Weekly Checkin! I'm fairly new to thebump, I made an intro post last month but it was on the Infertility board. 1. We've been ttc since October 2014 2. We've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. DH's SA is good, and my HSG and bloodwork are good except for my thyroid (slightly hypo and taking levothyroxine, but a few months ago I became overmedicated with very low numbers and had to cut back several times on the meds. Will be retesting again next week and hoping it's back within a good range). 3. Our RE has suggested a few cycles of Clomid + IUI. IUI #1 was a BFN, and AF just started showing today, so we will be onto IUI #2 soon. I'm also taking progesterone and estradiol after the IUI.
QOTW: First car was a 2005 silver Honda Civic. It's still in decent shape and belongs to my little brother now
Me: 30 DH: 33 Married June 2012 TTC #1 since Oct 2014
Dx: unexplained infertility (+ treated for hypothyroidism) March 2016: IUI#1 w/ Clomid, Ovidrel, Progesterone, Estradiol - BFN April-May 2016: treatment on hold due to bad thyroid levels, adjusted meds June 2016: IUI#2 w/ Clomid, Ovidrel, Progesterone, Estradiol - BFN
July 2016: on hold again due to thyroid July 13th: IVF consult August 2016: IUI#3 w/ Femara, Ovidrel, Progresterone - BFN Sept/Oct 2016: IVF + ICSI
This morning has been a roller coaster of decision making for DH and I. We found out this morning that my AMH has almost doubled since October and is now at 7.91. I don't even know how this is possible and we're waiting for my RE to email us back with an explanation. I'm well above the AMH cutoff now (>5.0) to participate in the IVF clinical trial, which I'll be eligible for in June. Earlier this morning DH was saying that he doesn't trust the lab at all because it makes no sense that my ovarian reserve would double like that in the last 6 months, and I can't find any research on the inter webs to support this at all.
After going back and forth a lot this morning and really weighing the pros and cons, we've decided to wait until we can participate in the clinical trial in June. It would be an awful missed opportunity for us not to try our luck with getting accepted to the trial. In the mean time we will do one more IUI next cycle (likely early May), since we have one more covered by our insurance. @GoldenKeys, don't even bother updating my treatment plan again. We have crappy odds with IUI so realistically, we will likely be doing IVF in June/July anyway. BUT, I will remain hopeful and be praying for a miracle that we could have success with IUI.
QOTW: 1996 Toyota Corolla in a teal color, that used to be my mom's. I started driving it in 2002 when I got my license and it lasted a long time.

Me: 34, DH: 38 ~ TTC since 2014 IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17 FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
@wifeinraleigh28 just wanted to say that I keep checking in for your updates! Hope your dr has some answers about your number doubling, although on the positive side that's great to hear that you qualify for the clinical trial!! Will continue checking in to see your updates. And fingers crossed for your May IUI!
@wifeinraleigh28 I'm so glad that you are one step closer to qualifying for the trial! If you can an explanation from the dr. let us know, I'm very curious.
I'm WTO and not much new here. I took a break from temping this cycle, it just feels like a fruitless cause, especially since I've ovulated between CD13-15 for the last 9 cycles.
Next cycle, I just discovered that I will be traveling for a CE conference during my entire FW... Now I need to decide if DH will take a vacation and come along (it would be fun to explore Virginia beach together) or just skip next month.
I also made plans to visit family for memorial weekend. It will be about a year then (13 cycles) and it makes sense to tell my mom at this point. I hate keeping it from her, but I didn't want to give her sad news prematurely. Now I just really wish I could talk to her about it on my hard days.
QOTW My first car was a 92 Geo Tracker with a soft top and manual shift. I called her Blanca the Rollarcoaster car, because she had this huge "oh sh*t" handle on the front of the passenger glove box. I don't have any digital photos of her, but she looked kind of like this car (but with more rust). She went to go live on a farm (no really, the guy who bought her wanted a tiny 4-wheel drive vehicle to cruise around his property with.... all in all a good retirement gig I think)

wifeinraleigh28 I have never heard of an AMH going up, and yours is super high! I'm wondering if there was a lab error of some kind. Please keep us posted on what the answer is.
Thank you for the support, ladies!! I haven't received an email back yet from my RE and he's usually quick with the replies (including just this morning when I was emailing him about doing an IUI before the trial). Not sure what that is all about.
@LGW2015, you are so sweet to check in! How has pregnancy been treating you? While it's so exciting when people graduate from this forum, we often don't get anymore updates when they do so I'm very curious!!
@ReesaAnne16, your story about your first car made me seriously giggle. I hope you work it out so that you DH can be with you during your FW next cycle. And about telling your mom... I know everyone is different, but I personally am so glad my mom knows what we're dealing with. Being able to talk to her about it, even if it's just to provide updates, is so helpful for me.
@GoldenKeys, I know, RIGHT. We kept getting my AMH tested for that very reason. In October it was 4.5. In March it was 5.75. We wanted a 3rd test because we thought one of those had to be a mis-read. Now with it coming back this month at 7.91, I'm only more confused.

Hi, all. Update for me. My first round of clomid failed. This second round seems to have made me ovulate and I'm currently in the TWW. I am beyond ecstatic. I count this as a success no matter what happens.
QOTW: What was your first car ever and what happened to it? I had a green 1994 buick skylark. I bought it from my step mom for far too much money, because it was a piece of crap. But it was mine, and I loved it. Its name was Rita Conchita, I didn't name it. I still refer to it as Rita when I talk to people about it. When I got my new car Rita had a flat. They towed my new car for having a tire on the line (my apartment managers were jerks) and I had to pay way more than I had (had just lost my job and had a week long hospital stay) to get it back. Then they towed Rita for having a flat and I just couldn't come up with the money to get her back. It makes me so sad. I had a lot of stuff in that car, too.

Hi all. I skipped lasted weeks check in cause I had absolutely nothing to update. I went to the re today! We will be starting medicated iui cycles on may 23....give or take a day. We aren't doing this next cycle because I have lupus, and he wants me to see my rheumatologist, an oncologist, and a high risk obgyn before we get started. He also went over my husband's last sa with us and his morphology went up from 2% to 30%.... so we were happy about that.
My first car was a mishabishi eclipse. ..it was a 1999 whatever convertable. I loved her so much! I traded her in 4 or 5 years later for a 2003 acura tl. Traded that in 6 years later for a 2008 lexus es350. That was totaled in august and now I have a ford fusion 2013.
Hi! I posted an intro thread a few weeks ago, but wanted to jump in here too.
1. How long have you been TTC? 13 months
2. What is your diagnosis? Unexplained
3. What is your current treatment plan? Clomid
My first car was a Toyota Celica and i thought I was the coolest girl ever in it. Haha. Turns out that was false, it was actually pretty junky, but you couldn't have told me that at the time. I sold it and got a more reliable car for college.
This week has been pretty frustrating. I still haven't ovulated and I'm at day 22. I usually ovulate between day 17-20, the latest ever was 20. So Clomid has pushed back O, if it even happens at all. My doc said I didn't respond like they would have hoped and to just wait and see what happens and regroup for next cycle if needed. So now my BSC has kicked in and I'm googling and searching through FF charts for late O on Clomid. Sigh. It's disappointing.

@wifeinraleigh28 wow! That's amazing! Did you make any diet or lifestyle changes between tests? I'm so amazed by your number improvement! FX the study works out!
I'm continuing acupuncture and trying to work on some changes to improve egg quality while we wait for the RE appointment in July. I read It Starts With The Egg last week and feel like I can make some changes that might help our odds. Generally feeling a mixed bag of emotions - optimistic some days and depressed and pessimistic other days. I really hope we'll have success eventually, but many days it seems like it is so unlikely.
But it's great to see @yellingbanana 's BFP! Gives me a little more hope to see the success of others!

Still waiting to hear from the RE - if I don't get a call this week I might call next week to see if they have a cancellation list or how long they think it will be until I can be seen.
I've been on my metformin for a week now and it's going pretty good. Still trying to figure out ways to boost DH's sperm count (thinking about adding Vitamin E to his vitamin collection…) I just want to know what our next steps are...
My first car was actually my grandma's old car. It was an Audi quattro with a sunroof and a wing on the back haha. I thought I was soooo cool.
EDIT to add: my car was sold to one of my neighbours and I'm pretty sure he crashed it!
Married since 2011 TTC since Oct 2014 DOR + MFI 3 failed IUIs; IVF August 2017
So things have progressed a lot quicker than I thought. The day after my GP sent the referral the fertility clinic called. DH and I have an apt friday (less than 2 weeks after the referral was sent) and I start an investigative cycle when AF next arrives. Any advice in what first appointments at fertilitu clinics are like would be appreciated. Also... mandatory counselling session, how did it go? After the apt was booked DH and I had a long talk about what it meant. It basically started as us fighting and eventually led to both of us admittig that we are scared of the apt and finding out that something is wrong, and frustrated/angry at not being pregnant already. We also realized the apt is not covered under OHIP and our benefits don't cover it. DH was not happy about that either. It was a hard conversation, but we got thru it. I feel like I want a baby way more than DH does (he's afraid of changes that happen when babies arrive) and sometimes I feel like I'm crazy for wanting to have a baby with him so badly. My first car was a Chevy 2006 Cobolt. I took ownership of it when I was 23, before that it was DH's first car thar he bought in 2007. It is currently sitting in my driveway as our third (backup) vehicle. That car still runs great and doesn't owe us anything!
I forgot the GTKY! My first car was a '96 Toyota Camry. I took it to college with me and it was my car for maybe 7 years. Two of the windows stopped working, and the AC was broken so the last couple summers were super hot! Finally the transmission went out and my DH had to tow me home with his truck. It snowed a lot that night and since my car wasn't drivable, we couldn't move it for the snow plows. The city towed it and we just left it there. Someone probably bought it for parts in a city auction. Hopefully they could see the kind of shape it was in before buying it!

@AL_TwinCities I haven't made any lifestyle changes between tests. I'm taking the exact same prenatal vitamin, doing the exact same exercise regimen, eating the same foods, etc. The only thing that changed was that I had two medicated cycles on injectables since the first test. But my RE said that doing medicated cycles shouldn't affect AMH. So I have no idea what is going on. I did start knitting a lot, which has certainly relaxed me and I feel less stressed. I guess I'm just going to accept it and be happy that it's so high!
@katbb I have lupus too and see a rheumatologist regularly for maintenance. What meds are you taking? When I was first diagnosed they put me on prednisone, cell cept (because I had kidney inflammation), and plaquenil. Now I'm just on plaquenil to maintain it and to avoid future flair ups. So far I've had 2 medicated IUIs and haven't had any problems, so hopefully you won't either! My rheumatologist said that I should be fine going through fertility treatments. Good luck to you!!
@ACAC25 I'm sorry you're having a hard time as the RE appt approaches. It can be scary going into the testing phase and not knowing what could be wrong. We were terrified. But if it's any consolation, I will say it actually was a relief once we knew what was wrong and had a treatment plan in place. I hope you and your DH find some relief too and that you'll be able to get on the same page with trying for your baby!

Hello! It is CD11 for me today. Had a follicle scan last friday and again yesterday. Of the follicles responding friday dropped down to 4...yesterday (Cd10) there were only 2 growing and were still small (10mm). Very discouraged that in past Clomid cycles I had 2 mature follicles by cd11 ready for trigger and here I am on my first cycle of more aggressive Menopur injectables and I am responding worse ! RE says this isn't expected but since I have DOR at 28 there is always "suprises". We upped the dosage so I will be taking 3 vials of Menopur for 3 days and check back with RE friday 4/15.
QOTW: I had a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I passed it down to sister (she always got my hand-me-downs hehe) and she totalled it! She was fine but no more Jeep!
@wifeinraleigh28 labs make mistakes allllllll the time. Like big ones. We use a lab at work to test urine samples and men have been sent back to prison over mistakes. They always act like its no big D and that it happens all the time. I do hope though that your levels have gone up and remain up to participate in that trial! Also, I started a new crochet project this week, I'm like you and find knitting and crocheting calming! What are you busy knitting?
@ACAC25 OHIP covers our appointments with a fertility specialist. As long as we are just talking they will pay. If the doctor starts using technology (IUI, IVF...) we would have to pay.
I just finished with AF and DH was super sick the entire week. Like in and out of the hospital sick. So I had to put my dying from cramps aside and nurse him back to health. I don't like seeing him sick, but I did appreciate having something else to focus on. Just calling my RE, as they referred us to a new fertility specialist 7 weeks ago and we haven't heard a thing.
GOTW: I was lucky when I got my license my parents had three vehicles so I always had access to a vehicle (as I was the oldest child and the only child driver at the time). When I used my own money to buy a vehicle it was a 1998 Mazda B3000 pick up, standard...of course. It was white and my dad got me a custom 'Mazda' sticker for the tailgate in bright green. I bought a brand new Jetta in 2013 (which is not paying off at this point with their whole ripping people off deal right now) but DH drives it every day and I drive his Chevy Colerado back and fourth to work.
@Plainjanie This is probably why the trial does their own AMH test when you begin the screening process... they don't trust other labs! Hopefully either the 5.75 or 7.91 results were correct for my AMH level so I will be accepted I love crocheting too, and switch back and forth between knitting and crocheting all the time! I recently crocheted a table runner for our dining room table and right now I'm working on finishing up a throw blanket (also crochet). I recently knitted a kitchen towel, a set of 3 dish cloths as a gift for my grandmother, and DH a pair of hobo gloves (the gloves with the short finger holes) because he likes to wear those in the spring on colder mornings. Once I finish the throw, I'm going to knit DH a pair of house socks. I already have the yarn for it and a pattern saved on my pinterest. I've never knitted socks before so I'm excited to learn something new! What are you currently working on?

@wifeinraleigh28 aw I'm doing well! You know, I thought the stress would be gone once I got a BFP but I'm still struggling with anxiety between dr appts afraid something is wrong. But so far so good. Always sending positive vibes to you ladies!!
Hello! I have been ttc for 11.5 months. After no period came and no ovulation for 9 months I took a butt load of labs and tests and was diagnosed with pcos. My partner is handing in his SA this week, if that comes out normal the plan is to start clomid soon and see if it makes me ovulate.
my first car was a 1987 Oldsmobile delta 88! It was a boat!
TTC since May 2015 with domestic partner of 13 years. Me 33 OH 33. No ovulation or natural menstruation. Normal SA.
Diagnosed PCOS February 2016
First cycle 50mg Clomid 5/3/16, O'd CD 19 BFN
Second cycle 50mg Clomid 6/1/16 O'd CD 18 BFN Third cycle Clomid 6/29/16 O'd CD 16 BFP @11dpo! EDD April 3 and praying things work out!
@wifeinraleigh28 I switch back and fourth as well. I find crocheting more satisfying though as projects work up a lot quicker, but I can create a lot more intricate designs with knitting. I just started an afghan called 'Cherish'. It says to have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forward. My little bro got engaged so I am making it for them. I just finished a 'waves' afghan for my brother-in-laws wedding. Socks for DH sound fun! I made a pair once...they were giant haha. But I keep them in my drawer anyways. I also love knitting dishcloths. That was the first thing I learned to make as a child.
I just loving making things for other people and think it's a great way to use my time! (Also keeps me from snacking at night!)
Hello! I haven't checked in on here in awhile. After IVF and Retrieval in January, I decided to give my body a break and do the transfer in March. Well last month I took a new job and decided to give it a little longer. This week I got a BFP. It is still so crazy to me that this happened after 5 years of trying and the last 8 months with an RE to get pregnant. I really didn't think I would be able to get pregnant naturally. I was sliding pretty close to the top of this list
QOTW: What was your first car ever and what happened to it? Nissan Maxima and I my mom actually donated it to the church once I put close to 80K miles on it.
Married: 8/29/2009 TTC- since we got married (off and on) TTC with focus: Since July 2015

Congrats @babyexpress ! I love hearing these success stories! FX for a sticky little bean for you

I'm back! Finally starting clomid 100mg again. Today is cd4 and excited to go in for my next ultrasound First car was a s-10 I totaled it in an accident with a semi my dad bought it from insurance and still uses it for a work truck
Hello I was diagnosed in 2008 and since then I've been on imuran, methotrexate, cellcept, prednisone, and plaquenil. ...along with warfarin because I have lupus anticoagulant BUT at the moment my lupus is under control and I'm only on plaqenil and prednisone is as needed and rarely used lately..thank goodness cause I've had some really bad years with it. I've Had kidney, heart, brain, and lung involve in the past. With my lupus doing so good right now I'm hoping to get pregnant soon so it happens when I'm healthy:)
@Plainjanie could you please clarify about the OHIP coverage? The DC I have been referred to is charging us $225 for the consultation, mandatory counselling session and an investigative cycle. Is that normal? So confusing. I'm sorry to hear that your DH was so sick, I hope he is feeling better. And I hope you hear back from the new fertility specialist soon! 7 weeks is a long time to wait and I understand your frustration.
@Plainjanie and @wifeinraleigh28 I LOVE that you knit and crochet! I am huge into crafts and find it is a great distraction! Recently I've been creating glitter decorated wine glasses! I love them.
Wow @babyexpress I also love hearing stories like that- I just shared with my DH CD 10 here, I've got 3 follies- 2 @ 13mm so I'll go back on Friday for another u/s. I've been contemplating the possibility of IVF overseas if our treatments here don't work but I don't see how that's even possible- I'm in the REs office constantly just doing clomid.
my first car was a Nissan Maxima (I had crashed my mom's car as soon as I got my license and it took so long to fix that my parents were forced to buy a 3rd car so I got the maxima by default- not because I deserved it). A year and a half later I hit a tree and that was that. I'd like to say my driving skills have improved in the last 18 yrs but my DH would disagree

@LGW2015 I'm so glad to hear things are going well! I know I am going to be crazy anxious as well.. it's sort of my personality @Plainjanie I googled your 'cherish' afghan and it looks amazing (and complicated)! How is it going so far? While I like switching between knitting and crocheting to mix things up, I'm more of a knitter at heart. I learned when I was about 4 from my great aunt in France. It took me a long time to get into crocheting but I know what you mean about things working up a bit faster. Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating! But I enjoy playing around with different stitches. It really is the best hobby to have for gift giving (and avoiding snacking like you said, lol). Over the winter I made a bunch of infinity scarves and beanies for my friends and family.
Big congrats @babyexpress!! H&H 9 months!! @katbb Wow sounds like you've kind of been through the ringer with symptoms. I'm so glad you're under control now!! I was diagnosed in early 2009 and my symptoms were joint pain/swelling, kidney inflammation, and a butterfly rash. Prednisone helped a lot initially... my doctor had me on 40 mg for about 6 months. It really changed the way my face looked but that went away soon after I tapered off of it. I was on cell cept for about 2 years because of my kidneys. My doctor was shocked that they caught the disease in time and I didn't end up with any permanent damage because of the large amount of inflammation I had. But I'm also under control now and haven't had symptoms since a year after I was diagnosed. Also hoping to get pregnant soon before I get another flair up, but hopefully that won't happen (ever)!!

Well I am in my IVF cycle! Today makes day 6 of medications. I just had bloodwork and an ultrasound, showing I have 5 follicles developing. I feel really down at that - I was hoping for more. I'm hoping that this is early and more pop up, considering that after my day 4 bloodwork they upped my medications. On the good side they are all about the same size - 9-10mm. But I am feeling very down. I don't think I can get back here for another full cycle if there is nothing to freeze, or if there is nothing period, which means I have to go someplace closer to home that will be more expensive and I have no idea how I will afford that.
QOTW: What was your first car ever and what happened to it? 2003 Hyundai Elantra, 2 days after I got the title to it a guy pulled out in front of me and I T-boned him. I was found not at fault and the car was totaled. I was devastated. Her name was Lucy and I hugged her after the crash and told her I loved her. (
@PlainJane@wifeinraleigh28 I am a crocheter too, mom taught me when I was 10 or so. Ive tried knitting but I have trouble getting the hang of it. I always need something in my hands when I watch tv now.
@katbb - sorry you have been having such a tough time! I'm glad you're doing better now .
@starlitfae Congrats on being in your IVF cycle. After only a few days of meds, I think that 5 follies is still really good. Hoping for a successful ER for you!! I'm like you, always needing something in my hands when watching TV.

@wifeinraleigh28 I learned to knit at 5 from both of my grammas. My one Gramma gave me a big bag of yarn a few years ago and a ton of old patterns and inside the bag was a half started knitted blanket that I'm sure she started and stopped sometime in the 80's. As a surprise, I bought the rest of the yarn and finished it and gifted it to her. It felt so good to be able to take something she taught me as a little girl and give it back to her after everything she always does for us!
@ACAC25 maybe it's different in different parts of Ontario? OHIP covers my consultation and any bloodwork, ultrasounds, SA (I ask for a requisition and go to a regular lab for those tests for those to be covered) If we choose to do an SA at the fertility clinic, or other tests at the actual clinic, we would pay out of pocket. We can have as many meetings and consultations with the fertility doctor as we want. But if he uses a machine or other technology, we would pay out of pocket. I got a call back almost immediately after calling them and we go the 28th
@starlitfae I can't even make it through a 20 minute TV show without my attention going else ware. I have to have something in my hands to sit there and watch TV.
I just got a call from the dr and apparently I am not responding well. My estrogen levels are still lower than they would like, and that plus only 5 follicles means this is suboptimal. They want me to stop this cycle to get most of my money back and then try again next cycle. Problem is, this place is out of town, and if I come back it means I have to bring my disabled mom. I take care of her, and right now my sister is with her, but she is going to start a full time job when she gets home and can't come back down.
When I explained that, he said it might be better for me to stay and try, but it could mean I have nothing to transfer when the time comes.
I called my mom and she basically said whatever we do is fine with her. I don't know what to do
A little
late to the party here, but it looks like fun…
I’ve been on
and off here a bit in the last 18+ months. I’m hypothyroid, which wasn’t
managed well, but finally seeing a new doc who seems awesome so far (willing to
try other types of medication, retesting after 6 weeks instead of 6 months).
Added in iodine (kelp) in multi-vitamin (based on blood work) and suggested
South Beach Diet for overall health and fertility. Had completely regular
cycles, confirmed O with temping and all that, gave that up for a bit cause it
was stressing me out, and ended up with periods of long cycles, then normal,
then long again (grr). We have not had great luck getting good timing when
hormone levels are optimal, so working on getting that stuff figured out first
and not giving up hope yet.
My first car
was a Lebaron that I shared with my sister. 3-1/2 years between us and we got
our licenses a week apart!
Also,
another crocheter here! I’ve made blankets, baby items, scarves, and stuffed
items. I have knitted but mostly just
practice. Crafting makes me happy
@Plainjanie I actually just finished the blanket I've been working on, and I'm pretty happy with the result! It is WARM. I get cold easily so that's a good thing!
@starlitfae I'm so sorry about the poor response. It sounds like your mom is really supportive. I hope you come to a decision that you feel good about!
@GoldenKeys - I apologize....I did not get a BFP last cycle, I was just changing my treatment plan! Not in the BFP Hall of Fame quite yet, but hoping to be there soon!
@wifeinraleigh28 - GL with IUI and I am sorry to hear about your struggles! Fingers crossed that if no BFP this cycle that you will qualify for IVF. Sending positive thoughts to you!
@Mythril - That literally happened to me last cycle....Clomid failed for me too....it is so frustrating, but I am sending you positive vibes for this cycle!
@babyexpress - Congratulations on your BFP! Naturally after 5 years...that is amazing!
@katbb - Hoping for good health, and a BFP in your near future!
@lablover78 - Hoping those follicles grow nice and big for you! Sending positive vibes!
@starlitfae - Hoping those follicles come through for you! GL on your IVF cycle!
Update: Currently on my last day of taking Provera in order to induce AF....then waiting for CD1. The last cycle was abandoned, but there is always that little voice in my head that says "Maybe it happened naturally anyway!"....I try to ignore it! haha. Finishing my Provera tonight and waiting for AF.....I have it estimated for about April 20th, and then our next cycle begins! It will be our first cycle with IUI + Gonal-F injections + Ovidrel trigger + Endometrin.....trying to feel positive about this next step...but also a bit scared that I still won't ovulate!
Good luck to everyone...wherever you are at this point!
First Car - 98 Pontiac Grand Am - it was my stepmom's, and she gave it to me after she inherited her father's car. I loved that car, but had to sell it before moving to South Korea for a year to teach English. I named her Big Rhonda. I told it to a nice family online....not sure where she is now!

Thank you ladies for giving me an outlet for my disappointments. After 15 months and close to 20 cycles of heartbreak, we are pregnant! This month was our second month trying hcg to lengthen my luteal phase and it worked. We planned on taking the next few months off to travel and move and just avoid the stress of "trying." I was seriously raw and exhausted after trying to hold it together so long - I cried so much this past month. We ended up not needing to use clomid or iui, but were open to it down the road if necessary. Yesterday was my birthday, and it was the happiest one ever. I wish all of you joy, happiness, and success. Keep up your hopes, and cut yourselves some slack. Thank you so much for your support!

@starlitfae I'm so sorry you got the news. You may have already made a decision, but fwiw, if I were you I'd probably cancel. If the doctor doesn't think you will have very many eggs, you will likely be disappointed later if you continue. Hugs - I hope you can work something out!

Re: TTTC Checkin 04/12/2016
1. We've been ttc since October 2014

Married since 2011

3 failed IUIs; IVF August 2017
Sorry for the long message!

Good Morning Everyone,
@wifeinraleigh28 labs make mistakes allllllll the time.

@wifeinraleigh28 aw I'm doing well! You know, I thought the stress would be gone once I got a BFP but I'm still struggling with anxiety between dr appts afraid something is wrong. But so far so good. Always sending positive vibes to you ladies!!

Third cycle Clomid 6/29/16 O'd CD 16 BFP @11dpo!

I love them.
my first car was a Nissan Maxima (I had crashed my mom's car as soon as I got my license and it took so long to fix that my parents were forced to buy a 3rd car so I got the maxima by default- not because I deserved it). A year and a half later I hit a tree and that was that. I'd like to say my driving skills have improved in the last 18 yrs but my DH would disagree
No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion
@Plainjanie I googled your 'cherish' afghan and it looks amazing (and complicated)!

Hi everyone!
@PlainJane @wifeinraleigh28 I am a crocheter too, mom taught me when I was 10 or so. Ive tried knitting but I have trouble getting the hang of it. I always need something in my hands when I watch tv now.
@katbb - sorry you have been having such a tough time! I'm glad you're doing better now .

@babyexpress a huge CONGRATULATIONS! Exciting!

A little late to the party here, but it looks like fun…
I’ve been on and off here a bit in the last 18+ months. I’m hypothyroid, which wasn’t managed well, but finally seeing a new doc who seems awesome so far (willing to try other types of medication, retesting after 6 weeks instead of 6 months). Added in iodine (kelp) in multi-vitamin (based on blood work) and suggested South Beach Diet for overall health and fertility. Had completely regular cycles, confirmed O with temping and all that, gave that up for a bit cause it was stressing me out, and ended up with periods of long cycles, then normal, then long again (grr). We have not had great luck getting good timing when hormone levels are optimal, so working on getting that stuff figured out first and not giving up hope yet.
My first car was a Lebaron that I shared with my sister. 3-1/2 years between us and we got our licenses a week apart!
Also, another crocheter here! I’ve made blankets, baby items, scarves, and stuffed items. I have knitted but mostly just practice. Crafting makes me happy
