Slow app with update?

im assuming the app updated overnight since last night it was the old way and this morning it's completely different. But I'm finding every single page I go to loads slowly or if I hit the back button arrow thing it just won't load the previous page. And even with this update it still tells me to log in at the top even though I'm clearly logged in. And now there are ads all over the place. Wtf?!
