@catiecatp Im so sorry to hear about the erratic LPs!! I'm not sure of specific questions to ask, but, (forgive me if you've already told us this) have you ever had your progesterone and FSH levels tested? If not this may be something to look into. You mentioned going to the GP, do you have a gyno? If not I think getting a referral will be of benefit. I'm sure the GP can order those tests, but I'm thinking a gyno could better interpret the results (100% assumption based on zero experience though).

@roper2617 - thanks for the ideas of where to start, I've never had any of those tests so I'll ask about them. I've only got a GP, never got to the stage in the pregnancy where I'd need to be referred and had no idea that there were any issues before this. My GP is a smart cookie so she might feel comfortable interpreting the results - being a rural doctor she has a wider range of experience with medical issues...

@catiecatp I'm so sorry this is happening again. I experienced the same issue the first few months after my miscarriage, but it has somewhat resolved, though still not as long as it was before. I would ask for "CD3" bloodwork which will measure FSH among other things and a 7 DPO progesterone check. In my conversations with my OB and RE about this issue they both were a little doubtful of the whole LP defect thing. They suggested the short LP was more likely an egg quality issue and/or my body regulating post miscarriage which they said could take up to a year. Despite this though, my RE did say they would put me on progesterone post IUI/IVF because "it can't hurt". It all sucks and I'm sorry. Miscarriage is just the gift that keeps on giving in my experience and I hate that you are dealing with this difficult stuff as well.

    Wooot @mandi135!!

Appointment update from Monday:  My midwife called today with my hcg from Monday (cd12, with cd1 being the day miscarriage bleeding started @ 6+2).  It was 40, so she wants to draw another level this Monday and if it isn't getting much lower she wants to do an ultrasound and see if I need to take meds or do a D&C.  I started spotting again last night and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that nothing is retained and a D&C isn't required next week!!  My H leaves on Sunday!  My parents have offered to come stay with me, and his parents have offered to host me as well.  I just hope this will be done and we can move on quickly.

@virginiaham I hope you get a good result on Monday!  I was looking at possibly having to do something if my numbers weren't better by this blood draw, so I feel your pain on that.  Keep us posted on how it goes <3

    1. Intro: might as well intro. Been in the group a while. M/c back on 12/31. Have been benched until this month due to vacationing in a Zika country and just not ready to try again.
    2. Status; getting off the bench. starting charting this cycle because I thought I wasn't ovulating but I did. Relief there. Going to try next cycle at this point. We accidentally may have had good timing but it also could have missed completely. FF said I was post but then my temps stayed way higher 3 days so it was revised back. Anyway, 90% sure it was an accidental swing and a miss since we were not trying.
    3. Rants: I want to stop hearing comments about kids who are 3 years apart being a big age gap. My dh thinks so and it annoys me. We'd be lucky if we get 3 years but I really can't care at this point because it's completely not up to me anyway.
    4. Met a famous person? I lived and work in NYC. Ive casually walked by Blake Lively at 2am coming out of a bar (I was also) with that other guy from the show Penn Bagley. He lived in my apartment building at the time too. Julia Styles in Washington square park (just a walk by) and also Kendra Wilkinson (if she counts?). Kendra was extremely sweet and nice, super friendly and just like she is on her shows. That happened at a pizza shop at 4am after going out in the east village, she was with her cousins. That's all I've got!

CD2 for me. AF showed up yesterday with horrid cramps and I have a really high pain tolerance. Bummed but not too upset since it was my first cycle TTCAL. My hubby bought Bayer Back & Body on accident and I had a horrible reaction to it last night. I was hot, sweaty, dizzy, pounding heart, ringing ears, and nausea. I was actually considering going to the er it was so bad and I never go. Now I'm at work in an all day meeting and I feel like death. I can't go home because I'm at a different site and carpooled. Counting down the minutes until I can go home.

@MooFish2364 I'm sorry. I hope you feel progressively better as the day marches on. Creepy internet hugs for you. I had a terrible reaction to aspirin once and I'd never take it again. Coincidentally, I took it without thinking in the middle of the night for period cramps and I did end up going to the ER.

thanks @reneeannemm my procedure went well. My polyp ended up being a fibroid and 2 of them!! It was more invasive then expected but my dr said I could stop bcps (yay) He did mention we would wait to do next IUI probably next cycle. I wrote him an email asking specifics to see if in the mean time we can just try on our own. So I guess that means I'm almost off the bench. Hope to get confirmation today/tomorrow.

@MooFish2364 sorry AF showed. hugs to you
@mandi135 congrats for getting off the bench!!
@virginaham goodluck at your appt. I hope no further treatment is needed.
