3 I have had horrendous diarrhea for weeks. yesterday we went to a party at my husbands best friends house with 40 other people and bc I didn't want to be sick I took Imodium. that made me so constipated and uncomfortable I barely slept and it literally just wore off this am. poop is such an issue lately. (sorry)
4. I collect tons of shit I impulse buy and don't need...lol
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? We have our NT scan at 1:30 today!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Just excited for our appointment today! Can't wait to see our little peanut again! I'm also getting my Maternit21 blood work done today as well. Big day all around!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? We collect magnets from all the places we travel too. We have a large magnet board to display them all in our office.
TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year.

1. How far along are you? 14w3d! 101 days! at least 36% done!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Doctor's appt on the 21st
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've got a really bad allergy or cold and it has me all gunky. Yuck!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? I do! I have little carvings of animals from each place I've visited and whenever the H and I go on a proper vacation, I add a new Christmas ornament to my collection.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Second Tri! So close, so close. First Tri is for the birds.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I have good days and bad days. Yesterday was a good day! Saturday was a bad day. I burst the blood vessels under one of my eyes from being so violently sick, and two days later I still look like I was punched in the face. Knock on wood that today is a good day too, since I have a crock pot stew working that I really really want to enjoy tonight.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? DH and I have always collected shot glasses from our travels. Once we finish our basement we'll put up a sweet display case by the bar area.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? The magical halfway point
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We had a great elective ultrasound yesterday and found out we're having a girl!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Target receipts
1. How far along are you? 15w1d. We had been doing the midwife date vs the "measuring at" date but we're just going to use the "measuring at" date from now on, since I'm pretty sure it actually syncs up better with some other key events in the timeline... So there!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? We have our first OB appointment today (we're on a midwife track at our practice so we'll see the OB for about 1/3 of our appointments), but I LOVE this doc and she got us through everything last year, so I'm excited to see her under these happy circumstances and celebrate even though it's just a regular monthly check up!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We always said we wouldn't go nuts with the at home Doppler but I'm obsessed with it. Two or three times a week we listen to our little merman's heartbeat, and (God is so good!) it's been really easy to find so the whole thing usually takes less than 10 magical seconds, but it's so amazing and I'm so grateful for that option to keep us sane and celebrating between appointments.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Not particularly...but my husband and I do have sort of a funny habit, he loved Legos as a kid and is still a big Star Wars fan, so whenever I'm really stressed out he gets us one of the delux Star Wars Lego sets to build together--it takes just enough attention to take me out of dwelling on whatever's going on, but not so much that it's tiring. So we have a fun collection in our Star Wars-themed media room downstairs, but for the two of us it has an extra layer of meaning.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Next OB appt in two weeks, then the elective ultrasound two days after that!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Things are finally feeling real. Yesterday, DH said he couldn't wait until October. It was the first time either of us have talked out loud about the baby getting here. Up until that point we had been taking things one day at a time.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Ummm...dogs? We have two Boston Terriers and are alllllways thinking about getting a third!
2. Appointment on the 22nd and waiting for the next 5 weeks until we hit 20 weeks

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Currently waiting for a callback from my nurse - I think I have a UTI. Actually, I hope I have a UTI, because I'm worried that it's something worse like a uterine infection or pending mc. BUT obviously I am paranoid because my symptoms are not even that strong and it may turn out to be just uterus stretching/pushing on the bladder.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? I'm more of a hoarder. I like to keep things that I figure I may use at some point. I would hate to throw something away or donate it only to have to spend money next year buying the exact same thing because I ended up needing one!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My appointment this week (finally) and reaching 2nd trimester.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I felt the baby move the first time, this past week.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Does wine bottles count? When we travel (and I'm not pregnant), I like to buy wine from local wineries.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My DD was sick all weekend with the stomach bug and now my DH has it so I am hoping really hard that I do not get it. It was such a rough weekend that I need a do over.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I told my boss today. I was super nervous, but she was super understanding and happy. I feel so much relief after I told her!! I was planning on telling her next week, but I feel I am showing pretty obviously now, so just decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did!!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? I seem to buy lotions that I never use, and then never want to part with. I think it's time to donate or throw away to make room for baby stuff.

Anatomy scan! Hopefully I'll be able to book it after my appt on Thursday!

I thought morning sickness was supposed to stop in the 2nd trimester!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything?
Not anymore. I used to collect silly things like movie ticket stubs, but I stopped. Found all my beanie babies tho! Hubby plans to put netting up in the baby's room and just dumping the whole bag in there. Lol
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Our appointment on 4/18 and the anatomy scan on May 13 (Friday the 13th!)
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I have a sex drive again! And only barfed twice this weekend (those things are unrelated).
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Just books. I can't imagine how many books we'll get for this poor baby, who doesn't know yet that he or she is a book-hoarder in training.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My next apt the 19th
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I keep getting super nervous that something is wrong and that I won't find out until the 19th at my apt. I know it's just loss brain talking but since the last time we saw the baby was at 11 wks I just feel so paranoid.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? not really, I use to collect a variety of things from coins to travel souvenirs but got rid of everything when I moved to Africa.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? one more day until the Second Trimester!!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My doctor's office doesnt perform NT Scans. Instead, they do Quad Screens during the Second trimester. My Quad Screen isnt until the 23rd of this month, and my nerves are on 100!!
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? I used to collect movie ticket stubs, but would eventually end up losing/misplacing them so i stopped. lol
2. Next Milestone: A good appointment on Friday with my MFM. He is doing an ultrasound, so praying for a good look and a strong heartbeat. I always worry about this after my losses.
3. RANT: Panorama came back after the 2nd blood draw and everything looks good! It's a girl! We are so happy to have a healthy baby. RANT: we have 2 girls, and my MIL really wanted a boy for MH, so she keeps making comments like, maybe they made a mistake and seems upset by it....MH is happy with another girl. Why does she care? UGH! We are all just so happy the baby is OK.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT/ERA scan this Thursday.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I feel like absolute total dogshit right now. The pretty-mild cold that I'd had since a week ago from last Wednesday blew up into a full-out hurricane force miserable virus this past Thursday. I rested up all weekend as best I could but I was still feeling terrible this morning and was pretty sure I was getting pinkeye, so I bit the bullet and went to urgent care this morning. Was promptly diagnosed with a sinus infection, a right ear infection, and conjunctivitis. Congratulations to me. Hoping that since I actually have multiple infections the antibiotics they prescribed will kick in and help me fight this relatively quickly. I just want to feel better . . .
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? We collect magnets from cities that we visit and little figurines/sculptures from larger trips.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Finding out the results of my Materni testing. I will know soon if the baby is a boy or a girl. I will also know if I am at an increased risk or decreased risk for birth defects. Let's pray decreased.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I think I am slowly getting some energy back. And I am nauseous a bit less. I've gotten a bacterial vaginosis (sp) infection again. I've called the doctor hoping to get meds.
4. GTKY: Do you collect anything? Do my son's Lego minifigures count? If so, yes. If no, than no. Growing up I collected trolls. I was obsessed with them. Especially the ones with the jewel in their belly button.

I was really really sick the past week or so, I had pneumonia and couldn't walk or take a full breath. I'm so glad I'm finally almost better! I'm so glad to be leaving the first trimester!
