This is a weekly check in for the lucky ones who have made it to the 3rd trimester!!! If you are in week 28 or past, feel free to join in on the weekly fun.
If you're just joining us, please post a mini synopsis in your first post with your EDD, how many beans, if you know the sex(es) and how you have been feeling in 3rd tri along with any appointment updates.
QOTW: What's your go-to place/way to shop for baby things? Any place where you shouldn't be left alone with a credit card? Any type of items you find it hard to refrain from?

Re: 3rd Tri Check In- Week of April 11
34 weeks today!! I hurt my back pretty bad last week while running.. think I really irritated my sacroiliac. I've been seeing the chiropractor and that has helped a little but I still have quite a bit of discomfort. I switch between icing it and heating it with a heating pad. I have both at work with me today.
QOTW: No where really. I haven't bought much for baby yet. I bought some clothes from Carter's in December when they were having a sale after we found out the sex, but that's pretty much it. I'm planning to go to Burlington sometime soon though, now that our shower is over.. I have a work shower Thursday and then we can buy the rest of the baby stuff. We have been so spoiled.. we barely need to spend any of our own money to get what's left on our list. We're very blessed!

We decided not to have a baby shower, so even though we got quite a few presents, we've probably bought more than the average parents-to-be. I'll usually buy a few things here and there (I used to always check the onesies at Costco and come home with a few, but I've stopped as we have so many!). I've been itching to go buy some little outfits...I've been in love with this particular one from Hatley but refraining because I'd like to have it for our 'Welcome baby BBQ' (our sort of shower equivalent) at the end of July, but I'm not sure how big this little guy is going to be so I'm going to hold off (especially considering it's a $42 outfit he likely wear just a few times).
I was also wondering what are people's thoughts on having a 'parent after IF check in'? I think it'd be a great way to stay connected, but not sure how much interest there would be? I might propose it in the random thread.
Scott was born at 2:53p on March 30th. My induction went great, and I was almost 5 cm and 75% effaced walking through the door so my body only needed a tiny bit of Pitocin to get the party started. I got an epidural that worked perfectly, it was a very good experience overall.
He is a very sweet baby so far with a great breastfeeding latch. Now we are on to our new chapter with our rainbow baby, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for your support during this IF journey!
I wish all of you the best luck as your babies' birthdays approach too!

With that said, there is no right way to have a baby as long as mom and little one are happy and healthy afterwards so choose what's right for you.

@CTinNV Congratulations!!! He is simply adorable! I love that little smile on his face!
I cannot wait to have my little boy in my arms. ahhhh!
@KidShrink That outfit is adorable! I am glad you're feeling better. I am actually going to ask my MW to not check my cervix. I really don't want to know how far along I am until I am close to the end because it doesn't really mean anything. I don't want to become obsessed about something I could just do without knowing. lol

QOTW: Kickee Pants. Best baby clothes ever, can't be left alone with the site.
QOTW I've been pretty good with not splurging. Well cribs and a dresser for the nursery but that's really it! We got lots of the essentials, etc at our showers and now just kind of planning on winging it and seeing what else we need!
Also for sports bras and work out gear in general.... best maternity purchases I have made:
https://www.apeainthepod.com/maternity/designer-brands-beyond-yoga.asp
Crazy expensive but one pair of pants, one sports bra, and one top and I wear them ALL THE TIME.
