My babies forehead breaks out when I wash her hair. Usually it's been just a little mild but today it was really bad and she screamed after I washed her hair, she's usually really calm in the tub. Idk if it itches or what but it really upset her. We don't go back to the doc for another month but I think I may just be a little allergy to the shampoo? Here's a pic. Like I said this is the worse it's ever been. Want to go try something new tomorrow but don't know what to get. Here's a pic
Looks like cradle cap. I have had excellent results using Mustela's shampoo for cradle cap. I also would put Olive oil on to sit for about 5 minutes before a bath and brush away the loose flakes. I found the shampoo at Babies R Us.
My son has very dry sensitive skin especially on his scalp also. Our pediatrician suggested using Cetaphil shampoo and lotion. We've been using it for a couple weeks and it seems to be working well.
my son also had his scalp exactly like this! i had used the johnson & johnsons products on him in the beginning, but switched to Aveeno baby and it cleared it right up and leaves his hair alot cleaner. no filmy residue. i also brushed his hair to help some of that craddle cap come off.
