How many weeks? 35 weeks.

Symptoms/updates/rants? Symptoms: By the end of the day my feet are a tiny bit swollen- which is new-- and are much worse if I wear sneakers- so no more sneakers for me until this baby comes! Hemorrhoids are the devil, but mostly I'm just having a hard time getting comfortable now. Updates: I have started packing the hospital bag. I'm determined to finish this weekend and put it in the car. Next weekend one of our local hospitals is doing a Babypalooza and will be doing car seat checks- so we'll be putting the car seat in sometime this weekend. 

A highlight from your past week? I'm going to go with this past week- I finished the thank you cards from my 2nd shower! One more shower to go then I'm DONE! Today is the shower at hubby's work, and apparently a lot of people have said they are coming- which hubby wasn't expecting since he's not really a people person and feels like he isn't well liked  (he doesn't put up with a lot of crap as a manager).

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? All of it!!! But surprisingly I'm really excited to see her in some of the super cute outfits that people have given us.

How many weeks? 36/Honeydew

Symptoms/updates/rants? Everything hurts. Sitting, standing, bending, laying, sleeping, walking. Everything. 

A highlight from your past week? Today is my birthday!!! That's pretty exciting, and I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow. 

Questions for the group? None. 

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? We have everything, LO could come tomorrow and we would be ready! I am just excited about all of the new items that weren;t around when DS and DD were babies. I never had a video monitor and I am so happy we have one now!!

How many weeks? 34

Symptoms/updates/rants? Last night I noticed that not only my feet and ankles were swollen, but right below my knees too. Joy. I'm also starting to get sore ribs on my right side from LO always being smushed in that area. Rave time: I officially have only four weeks of work left! I think I can manage it.

A highlight from your past week? We had the first session of our L&D/breastfeeding/newborn care class this past Wednesday, and I liked it a lot. The teacher is fantastic. We're a very small group, only three couples, because we're in the English class and our town is 90% French speaking.

Questions for the group? None that I can think of.

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? Oh man. I'm excited about all of it. I guess lately I'm most excited about the dinosaur mobile I managed to find second hand. It's so freaking cute!

How many weeks? 33 - I've given up on the fruit

Symptoms/updates/rants? My ankles are swelling and yesterday my calves were swelling. My back hurts, all the time. Trouble sleeping at night. Peeing all the time. Indigestion is new this week too! YAY! 3rd trimester is such a magical time. Our girl is still behaving herself so we are pretty excited that I'm still pregnant at this point!

A highlight from your past week? We had our first shower on Sunday! It was so much fun!

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? Well really, all of them. But one of my parents bought us our travel system so I'm pretty excited about that and the fact that we don't have to spend $380!

How many weeks? 37 weeks/ winter melon (whatever that is)

Symptoms/updates/rants? I miss sleep and comfort. Braxton Hicks have ramped up the week. I've got swelling, pains and all the usual fun symptoms this late in the game. I'm trying to stay upbeat and active as much as I can so that I can enjoy these last few weeks of life with my H before baby makes 3. Weirdly emotional today but not in a sad way, just getting teary from every little thing especially stories about families/songs about life and love. It is hard not to spend a lot of time wondering about when and how I will go into labor.

A highlight from your past week? I reviewed my birth plan (which is really just a worksheet my hospital provides to help you get on the same page as your dr) with my OB and we had a really great conversation. I feel like she really understands me and supports my goals for delivery but also emphasized that things don't always go according to plan and the most important thing I have to remember is not to judge myself if I end up getting an epidural or c-section or needing an induction, etc. She's not an interventionist at all unless it is absolutely medically necessary which makes me happy.

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? This is a hard question! I'm excited about all of it!! I'm very excited about my Solly Baby Wrap and hoping baby wearing is a success for us. I love all of her adorable clothes. The Halo Bassinest is awesome and my H and I look at it every night and imagine that there will be a baby in it so soon. I think the keekaroo peanut changer is pretty neat, I'm excited to give her a bath in the Puj tub and I can even get psyched about the Ubbi diaper pail. This weekend we're putting together our car seat, stroller, rockaroo, and bjorn bouncer and I'm excited about all of those too.

How many weeks? 35/coconut

Symptoms/updates/rants? It was an interesting week. Monday into Tuesday I started feeling super nauseous and just plain yucky. I kind of worked myself into being paranoid that I had a UTI/kidney infection, because I really did seem to have all the symptoms. Fortunately I went to the doc Tuesday and was negative for UTI, so that's good. I guess I just had a touch of a stomach bug (which my husband has now, ugh) and just the joys of a baby putting a lot of pressure on my bladder! I haven't been sleeping well, but that's also attributed to DH getting up several times a night to go to the bathroom, me having to go to the bathroom, and just not being comfortable on my sides. I know baby needs to cook a few more weeks, but I'm ready to be done!

A highlight from your past week? I don't think I posted on here last week, so since this week kind of sucked, last week my work surprised me with a baby shower and a very generous gift card! And this week one of my husband's coworkers got in touch with me and they want me to surprise my DH at his shower in a few weeks!

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? I'm getting a new baby carrier and I'm excited to try. It's a wrap kind since I had a horrible time with the Ergo and my DD hated it. I'm hoping for better luck this time!

How many weeks?  35

Symptoms/updates/rants?  I was sitting alone on the couch today, writing an over-due letter to my Grandma and I just started crying - for no reason at all.  I'm not a super emotional person, but there it was!  Deep breath, deep breath.... 

I wish I had shirts that fit.    I get asked all the time now from everyone (strangers and people who know me) when I'm due.  Sleeping is uncomfortable but at least I fall asleep fast after I pee every couple hours.  When the babies are here I will probably be up longer than a couple minutes! 

A highlight from your past week?  The generosity of people keeps flowing.  Family friends had a little shower for me and I've gotten so many useful things and gift cards.  We have 100's of diapers stored away from a couple showers and probably 20 packages of wipes.  So thankful because this year is going to be super tight on $$.

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about?  That is a hard question - I'm really happy with how the nursery has turned out.  It's such a sunny, happy room (might have to get black out curtains later!).  The 2nd crib is a mini crib - so cute and simple.  I'm really excited I have a twin Brest Friend nursing pillow and a free pump through insurance.  I'm also excited to use the video monitor.  Hello 2016!  Yes - @jenl1681 - those weren't around for DS & DD.

How many weeks? 34 weeks

Symptoms/updates/rants? I had my weekly MFM appt. Baby boy was lazy again going the NST so he got the buzzer again. I really hate when that happens. I tried drinking apple juice before hand but didn't do anything this week. Everything was looking good so far so thankful about that. My blood pressure was a bit elevated but not in the concerning range luckily.

A highlight from your past week? We got the pack and play we wanted as a gift and hear our travel system was purchased and is coming on Saturday! Two big ticket items we thought we'd be buying ourselves!

Questions for the group?

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about? I really like our rocker glider! But I'm pretty much excited about all of this.

How many weeks?  34 weeks

Symptoms/updates/rants?  I think baby girl dropped a bit because I'm having some intense pelvic pressure these past two days.  I've been overdoing it though with this crazy nesting so I'm going to try to take it easy these next six weeks.

A highlight from your past week?  I'm mostly finished with the nursery and our house has never looked so good (even the closets!).  I also started packing my hospital bag and bought all new toiletries, pajamas/nursing gown, socks, slippers, and underwear to take.

What baby item do you have that you are you the most excited about?  My TULA woven wrap and my petunia pickle bottom diaper bag.
