non- GMO formula

What is everyone's opinion on non-GMO formula? We had to switch formula due to persistent gas issues in my 3 week old baby girl. We just switched from non-GMO similac advance to enfamil gentle ease (advice from pediatrician). I don't know much about GMO's, however, the new formula doesn't have the option. Thanks in advance!

I'm using a non-GMO formula only because it doesn't cause constipation like the regular one did. No idea why it would make a difference but it did. We're using Similac Sensitive non-GMO. 

The GMO part of it makes no difference to me as far as ideology.
