How many weeks? 22

What size is baby? A papaya or a spaghetti squash.  Definitely over 1 lb based on the 12 oz estimate at my 20 wk u/s.

Rants? Raves? Symptoms?  Only rant is that my job is driving me crazy, and I can't even have wine at night to make myself feel better.

Questions/anything baby related going on? Anyone have experience with the baby k'atan carrier? I'd like something similar to a wrap for the first few months and that one seems the easiest to put on.

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions)

I loved it when my dad would make breakfast on the weekends for us.  It's still my favorite time of the day when we go home to visit, except now it involves coffee, too!  I've started making breakfast with DS and he is already quite the helper in the kitchen.

What size is baby?they are the size of bananas

Rants? Raves? Symptoms? Still some back pain and this week has been shortness of breath. I think they are starting to squish me. 

Questions/anything baby related going on? No questions. Had another ultrasound on Monday. No signs of Twin to twin transfusion and they are growing great. One baby was really stubborn and curled in a ball. 

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions) hmm. In the last few years we have been grilling out on Sunday nights in the summer at my parents house. Not ever Sunday but quite often and I'm really starting To enjoy getting together with the family.

What size is baby? a chinchilla or a bunch of grapes

Rants? Raves? Symptoms? Definitely feeling more movement and starting to look more preggo. A little shortness of breath at times. We got an offer on our condo! I think we'll be able to close on the day we planned to move to our new house. Yay for not having 2 house notes. 

Questions/anything baby related going on? Got a notification that someone bought something off our registry! But I was good and didn't peek to see what it was.

I loved summer vacations with my family; hope we can do that!

How many weeks? 20!!!! Woohoo Halfway!!!!

What size is baby? Banana or a paper airplane

Rants? Raves? Symptoms? Energy is coming back (I did just start a new job, but I feel "normal person" tired). Tomorrow is my anatomy scan and I can't believe it is already almost here!!! I am a little nervous how small I still am but the baby's kicks are getting stronger so that helps me feel better.

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions).  We spend a lot of time with both our families and I look forward to continuing that.

Rants? Raves? Symptoms? I feel like the acid reflux is making my morning sickness worse. Also, I found out I have an anterior placenta...so it could be awhile before I feel baby kick :-/

Questions/anything baby related going on? We had four appointments the other day, including a fetal echocardiogram and the anatomy scan. So happy to report that little boy is healthy, and his cystic hygroma has disappeared! 

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions)

My husband and I decorate the house (while the other one is asleep) for each other's birthdays, and when we wake up, there is a stack of presents on the nightstand.

Rants? Raves? Symptoms? Just shortness of breath. I always thought from the nightmares I heard from my friend, whom did not have very fun pregnancies, that I was doomed. But I feel blessed that it has been easy so far minus the heart burn

It is so hard not to go shopping now that we know I am having a little baby girl. My only saving grace to not spending gobs of money on cute little baby clothes and such is that we are moving at the end of next month and I would rather not add to what we have to pack. 

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions)
My husband's family on his mom's side says they have a tradition of the first born having to be named with a J for the first name. It is hard for me to think that it is a tradition, as it started with his mom's generation. I finally convinced my DH that we will have a J name picked out along with a none J name and no final decisions will be made until we have our baby girl in our arms.

What size is baby? Papaya....I've never actually seen one of these in person, so idk what that even really equates to lol

Rants? Raves? Symptoms?  feeling low and heavy, starting to need to spread my legs when I sit and it's getting uncomfortable for DD to sit on my lap :-(  , it's also getting tough to hold DD for a long period of time - she gets really heavy really fast, been having headaches on and off which I didn't experience last time but nothing debilitating

Questions/anything baby related going on?  We finally finished our bathroom renovation which in turn has caused a domino effect of rearrange and repainting 4 of our bedrooms plus the bathroom.  Most of the painting is now done so we're FINALLY able to start reorganizing the rooms and nesting for DD's big girl room and changing up the nursery.

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions)  Not really.....guess we were kinda boring lol  Though, when my grandfather was alive we would go up to West Point several times a year for lacrosse games.  We'd tailgate and it was always one of my favorite times.  I want to do that again but it's just never happened.

mmclark10 I hated the k'tans and I tried a few of them.  Yes, it's easy to put on, but I even tried a small size, and it just didn't have the kind of snug support I was looking for.  I still felt like I needed to hold DD or she would fall out.

Thanks @SkiChic626 ! that's good to know, I'm sure I'll just wait until baby arrives and then get a couple of options to try out.  A good friend also mentioned she is loving the Sakura Bloom sling and said she would let me try it out!

What size is baby? the size of a Pomegranate

Rants? Raves? Symptoms?  Still dealing with morning sickness. ugh.  While I was hopeful before, I am now starting to think I am one of the unlucky ones who will deal with this through my entire pregnancy.  I am not sure I can deal with 19 more weeks of this.  Starting to feel more sensations in my tummy.

Questions/anything baby related going on? trying to work on registry!  overwhelming!

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions)  Most of them will be holiday traditions, but we always had big family sunday dinners and during the fall, we would always have football games on.

GTKY: Are there any traditions you had as a child that you have or will continue with your kids (outside of holiday traditions) we did fun vacations and played a lot of tennis as a family. We now play golf with my in- laws and I would love to do that with my girls

I found Lucie's List and the book Baby Bargains to be really helpful with the registry

erinkatsirebas I agree on the Baby Bargains book, that was really helpful making our registry.  I think they recently published a new edition, too.
