Just had my mid-pregnancy ultrasound yesterday, and even though we are Team Green, its still fun to take "guesses" at what we're having. I've read that if baby's heartbeat is less than 140 its likely to be a boy, and more than 140 means girl. Heartbeat was 149, and baby was moving A LOT during ultrasound, so much that the tech almost wasn't able to see everything they were looking for, but luckily baby turned the right way.
Just wondering how accurate the heartbeat "test" is? How did it play out for you?
Re: How accurate is the Heartbeat "test"?
They actually did studies about this, no correlation between heart rate and sex, except possibly during labor.

To add another personal experience, it wasn't true at all for us. My baby's HR was always on the very upper edge of the "normal" scale, never less than 154. We found out a week ago that he's a boy.
