Middle names for Miles?

Siblings are Evelyn Kathleen and Graham Harold (Kathleen and Harold are both family names). Girl name for this baby is Mae Elizabeth.

Ideas on the list right now:

Miles Willem
Miles Greyson
Miles Gavin
Miles David
Miles Parker
Miles Ryan
Miles Benjamin

They're all fine, but none of them have been a "That's IT!" for us. Well, I like Miles Willem, but H is "eh" about it. Any other ideas?

IDK why, but the first thing that popped into my head was Miles Jason. I also like Miles John. Of your list I like Miles Parker and Miles David the best!

I am a musician and so Miles makes me automatically think of Miles Davis. For that reason I personally wouldn't go David. Similarly Parker makes me think of Charlie Parker when it's paired with Miles.

Unless you're a big jazz fan. I mean, Miles Davis and Charlie Parker are both some of the best that ever played.

I don't think it's a deal breaker though. I'm probably the only weirdo who thought of those thinks. Miles Ryan sounds nice. I don't personally care for Willem because it sounds too much like William and I feel like there's bound to be a little confusion there, but again, not a deal breaker. I also think Gavin sounds nice with your other children's names.

Our kiddo is miles and if we have another boy, he will likely be graham! Name twins!

as for a middle name, definitely two or more syllables, which all
of yours are. I like Greyson and Gavin the best.

I too thought of Miles Davis and Charlie Parker when i saw Miles Parker! But that made me love it more

@KimmySchmidt and @BernieRae you ladies caught me off guard and made me laugh a little with the Parker comments because Miles is a name we have considered and Parker is our last name and my father in law's name is Charlie Parker!

Are you into using family names as middle names? That's how we came up with middle names for both of our boys. I also tried "yelling" the whole name (like when he's in trouble) since that's the only time we ever really use middle names out loud.

Im partial to the name Montgomery bc we are naming our son Monte, but I think Miles Montgomery has a nice ring to it

My very first thought, for whatever odd reason, when seeing the post was Miles Elizabeth (as in, Adolf Elizabeth Hitler?) so It's funny your girl name is Mae Elizabeth.

For serious, though, Miles Anthony popped into my mind, too. As a pp said, most of the time middle names come up only as trivia or full name scolding, so for my LO I'll be thinking less of flow and more about a name I like, but maybe not first-name like.
