Re: WTF Wednesday

  • WTF insomnia?! I was up from 1-5:30am last night. Sucked real bad when the alarm went off at 6:30 and I am getting peer reviewed today at work.
  • Loading the player...
  • WTF bloody nose for the second time this week! I don't have time for these shenanigans, I've got to go to work.
  • wtf morning constipation? I can't go before work and it's so uncomfortable but by 1030 I have incredible diarrhea all day. make up your damn mind, bowels!

also wtf to the first bout of lightening crotch today? that HURTS
  • WTF to the constant dry heaving, especially while I'm driving, I'm over it!

And WTF to every one of my kids buses being wicked late today when j just wanted to lay down!

WTF to the person in my office who keeps stealing people's food out of the fridge. On Monday, he/she actually went into my lunch bag, unzipped it, took my string cheese, zipped it back up and put it right back where it was. Yesterday, someone's lean cuisine was gone. Today, I put a not in my lunch bag that says "Please don't take my food. I'm pregnant and need to eat or I'll puke". Let me catch who's doing it, I'm hormonal and have no filter.
I actually caught the jerk who was stealing food out of the fridge at work when I was pregnant with DD, and he just laughed at me and when I reported him, he didn't get a write up or anything I was furious!
He wouldn't just take one or two items, he would steal a whole lunch bag then stuff it in the trash when he was done, and what further infuriated me was he was somebody I worked with often, always had money for snacks but still bummed money for more, and he constantly lied about it... not to mention he was a drug dealer who brought steroids to work to sell and bragged about it! Pretty sure my boss was buying from him too.
Anyway, that was almost 5 years ago. Your post just picked the scab off that wound for me haha guess I'm still sore about it.
  • @mrscorker and @allythekid I have no words. What adult DOES that?!?
  • @mrscorker and @allythekid I have no words. What adult DOES that?!?
I wouldn't call that monster an adult.
  • @MRSCORKER One time I brought a whole loaf of Pepperidge Farm cinnamon swirl bread to work to make toast over the work week. We have two tables in our kitchen; one that is well-known as the "if I leave food on this table it is to signal that it is to share with the floor" and one that is against the wall and known as the "this is my personal food, don't touch it" table.

I clearly put my bread on the "don't touch" table, toasted two pieces, and went about my day. When I came in the next day the entire loaf of bread was gone. I was so pissed! That bread is expensive and I only bought it because it was half off, and someone took the WHOLE loaf! That was my first experience with someone taking my food, but another lady on the floor said that food used to go missing all the time.

I am the youngest person who works full-time on my floor, and I'm 30. We are all adults. What happened to if you didn't bring, you don't eat it? Even kids know that!

  • @MRSCORKER - we had that happen at the office I worked at years ago and someone walked around looking in desk trash cans when they saw their item was missing... located the stolen goods and reported him. I recommend an office walk through :)

  • WTF to my body with these symptoms.  I had an amazing few days of little to no symptoms and then BAM, yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks.  I vomited on the side of the road on the way to work - it wasn't pretty.

WTF Wednesday, I thought it was Thursday
I think it's Friday almost every Thursday.  My husband and I call Thursday "Worsday" because it is THE WORST.
  • @mariefox16 I'm with you with the WTF to these symptoms. I've been feeling so blue lately because it seems my nausea and food aversions are at their absolute peak. I can hardly stomach the thought of food and there is nothing I can drink without it giving me that seasick feeling.  :s

  • @MRSCORKER .... well, I guess it did make more sense that someone did it at my office. It was tiny ;)
  • @annabenanna My favorite thing about being pregnant is finally NOT having acne... Sorry your face is being mean to you, but from what I see in the HDBD you are still ridiculously adorable!
  • Thank you @AllyTheKid , it's because I popped them all yday.  Hahahaha.  (this belongs to TMI Tuesday).  But I'm so jelly you have that pregnant glow!
  • Oh that's not a glow. That's just oily skin. Haha BUT no acne, it'll just torment me once the baby arrives and make me look like a preteen mutant in all the newborn pictures =/ sigh, forever fifteen... @annabenanna
  • @annabenanna  I'm right there with you on the acne >:( it's all over my chin,  jaw,  and neck. I don't think I've ever had acne on my neck certainly not 5 breakouts. Grrrr. I haven't been wearing makeup to cover it because I don't want to make it worse but today I broke down and used some concealer.  It looks like crap but at least it's not as red? ??

  • @jillianpardo , girl we are the same!  Breakouts on the jawline and neck.  My right jaw and left jaw just take turns tormenting me.  WTF is that?  I always have heard that when you break out around your jawline (and wherever men grow hair) it is caused my hormones.  So yep, this is definitely pregnancy related.  Are you putting anything on it that's helping?  I'm using Belli Skincare, but girl.... it's not working as good as I hoped it would.

I wanna use my Aztec clay mask, but I need to clear it with my OB to make sure it's okay to use.  ANYTHING to help really!
  • WTF to the photographer who took our announcement photos. She knew we wanted to announce on Facebook today (if everything went well at our appointment, and it did) and we still don't have our pictures back. I talked to her yesterday and she said she was almost finished editing them, but I haven't heard from her today. I'M SO READY TO TELL THE WORLD!!!!

  • @CopperBoom86 , but think about the beautifully edited pics!  Just a teensy bit more of waiting.  I'm sure they'll be gorgeous!
  • @annabenanna , I've always dealt with some acne over my life, but right now I'm breaking out like CRAZY on my back and shoulders!! It's the worst!

If anyone knows of anything that's good for back acne, shout it out!

  • Wtf to everytime I fell asleep this morning,  the phone would ring. Everyone knows I work third shift and sleep in the daytime. Gonna start calling people at 1 am to chat t like they do me at 1pm. Tired, sleep deprived pregnant woman, be afraid. Be very afraid.

But doesn't the orange kind contain salicylic acid?
  • I feel you ladies on the acne.  Mine hasn't been worse in volume, but I'm getting super painful, giant ones now that make me want to cry.  Stupid hormones!

Yes, but to get it in quantities harmful to the baby, you'd have to inject it directly into your veins.

Aaaaah, the more you know!  Maybe i'll do salicylic on my face once a week.  I feel like that would greatly help!
  • @bamacoop YES! I'm going to ask my dr at my next appt. (not for 2 more weeks) because my back acne is OUT OF CONTROL. So gross :(

  • @annabenanna I haven't been using anything. I made an amazing salve with lots of great stuff for the skin in it.  I haven't bothered with it because I have felt so terrible. Brushing teeth and running a brush through my hair before throwing it up has been my regime. I'm a SAHM and don't have to look polished. I've got that frazzled tired mom look going on when it's time to hit the grocery store. I usually put myself together before taking DD to preschool but not lately. I think the other parents are starting to wonder what's going on with me. Haha.

  • WTF Walking Dead -- You cannot leave me hanging like this for 6 months!!!
I literally yelled at the TV when they cut to black.  WHY?!  WHY?!

  • I've been using the orange Neutrogena for the past two or three weeks... it's not helping! It's not that bad right now, because everything I wear covers my back and shoulders mostly, but I'm worried about it not going away before summer when I want to start wearing sleeveless things and swim suits.

I go to the doctor on Friday, so I might ask her what she recommends.
