No spoon

Ugh. Lately little girl has not been wanting to eat any of her purees. I can get her to eat a little with an adult spoon, but then she'll stop accepting the food. It's not because she full because she'll eat her puffs. We would do other finger foods, but she won't bring the food to her mouth. Any advice?

Sometimes I use my finger as a spoon and she is more accepting to that and then I can switch over to the spoon once she likes the food. Or maybe she just wants to do it herself?

She can easily pick food up, but won't put the food in her mouth. I'd rather do finger food than purees. She just needs to get to food to her mouth first. Lol. 

Most of the time she will take the spoon first off. Then, when we continue eating she'd stop wanting any of the puree. Should I really be giving her finger foods by my hand while trying to eat as well? I feel she is getting too used to it and not even trying to feed herself.

My son doesn't feed himself yet. He doesn't really like purees either lol he prefers our food so I use my finger as a spoon, and give him bits of my food. I'm sure eventually they will want their spoon. He does like playing with it though. Just be patient, I'm sure when she is ready, she will be able to !  Keep us posted mama!

I have been having the same issue . LO dose feed himself and he wants to do it all himself so i will usually give him about half a jar of food and if he is too fussy then I will give him puffs or a baby mum mum then finish that jar after.

I do try and mix the foods. I try to give her purees and then switch to puffs. I give her maybe two. But when I go back to purees, she'll fight me. Just to get her to give the purees a real chance, I trick her sometimes. I'll pretend I'm giving her a puff but give puree instead. 

She has also been fighting bananas lately too. Usually she'll take a bite off. Now she isn't even wanting to try. She take some if I pull chunks off and feed her. Basically, only things by hands is going in her mouth.
