Bottle for breastfed baby

Has any other moms had any experience with "Born Free" bottles? My son who is 3 weeks old  didn't do very well with the munchkin latch bottles and want to try something that is more natural feeling to him since he is breastfed but for when I go back to work.

We have used Dr Browns and Avent natural glass bottles and my son has switched between breast and bottle without a problem.
  • We tried those with no luck with DD. I think we tried every brand. Eventually she took to dr brown and plsytex ventaire. Then eventually any.
  • Thank you ladies! I'm switching him to Avent bottles and seeing how he does!
  • We are using the medela calma teats. They took her a bit to get used to but i like that nothing comes out unless she is actually actively sucking, becuase i dont have a fast let down so if a bottle is too easy then she will probably stop taking the breast. Also means no leakage from the teat if you get absent minded and leave it on the couch haha
  • The only bottle I could get ds1 to take was the Lansinoh momma bottle.

I'll second the medela calma, love that she has to work for it like breastfeeding and doesn't leak if you lay it on the bed or sofa! I bought some first years breastflow bottles which are also supposed to mimic breastfeeding and were voted number 1 on several websites, I felt like the milk came out too fast when we tried them... Need to try them again really to know if they are good. The only thing that I know is the medela calma isn't supposed to be used with formula - I am trying to "top up" my babe with 1oz of formula after feedings some days and I'm wondering if eventually the nipple will stop working because of that.
  • I have switched back and forth between breast and mam bottles easily.  Baby also takes a munchkin latch but it leaves too much breast milk in the bottle.
