    How far? 5+4

How are you dealing?  Things are so confusing for me at this point that I have just resigned myself that whatever will be will be & will actually be surprised if things work out.

R/R/Questions:  I had another check with the RE this morning.  He thinks the area of suspicion near my right ovary is a cyst that is resolving.  It has none of the hallmarks of an ectopic (nor do my labs).  The sac in my uterus definitely seemed bigger but is still VERY small and hard to visualize.  The RE said that the site of implantation couldn't be any farther from the probe & my uterus is very tilted so it's even farther.  He seems to stands by it's hard to scan.  I learned my beta numbers from Saturday (that DH didn't remember) and the RE thinks that Thursday's high number may have been a lab error as the Saturday number is in alignment with my first 2 betas and what they are seeing on the US.  They did not double from Thursday.  It could also be a non-normal uterine pregnancy.   Today's labs will be telling.  For now I go back Thursday or another US & labs.  The wait between now and 3ish is going to be painful as is the wait until Thursday of the beta isn't good & they don't want to see me sooner.

GTKY:  I can't live without pets.   I have never lived without one.  They are the best.   We have 3 fur babies & I am so thankful for them.  They have made my losses easier & help me with stress now.

@MrsBinPA - ugh it is so hard being in limbo.  My fingers are crossed that you get some answers soon.

How far along are you?  Not sure, somewhere between 5w 1d and 5w 4d

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety?  Things are going ok.  I'm getting my TSH checked tomorrow and I have a repeat ultrasound next Monday.  I'm hoping we'll be far along enough to see a heartbeat.  The big debate in our household is when to tell our families.  DH wants to do it soon.  I am really dreading it.  Not being able to carry a successful pregnancy makes me feel like there is something wrong with me.  I don't want to be forced into announcing another loss.  I just want to feel like everything will be ok, but I'm not sure if/when that will ever happen.

    R/R/Questions?  Nothing today.

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without?  Travel?  It's not really an object, but I spend a lot of time planning vacations and really enjoy going to new places.

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? not good lol.

R/R/Questions? Also had a panic this weekend because I've been having sharp pains on my right side and then also around my cervix and also period like cramps. RE said it's too early to see anything but that all kinds of cramping is common in pregnancy and not to worry about it. Of course Dr. google has me freaking out that it's an ectopic, and then I had super thick globby discharge and was convinced it was fetal tissue but RE said that some women get more discharge while pregnant and some have none. So I'm just sitting here being completely unproductive and freaking out until my ultrasound in 10 days.

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? My puppies and netflix.

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? Good and bad, I'm trying to be positive but at the same time in constant fear. I went in for my beta today so FX they are good #s, I'm not sure if/when my doctor will call me with the results. I went shopping today and found a dress I loved for a wedding in June, my mom asked if it had room for me to grow in it...I was just all well who knows maybe I wont be pg then if something happens again :( being positive is easier said than done.

R/R/Questions? my cramps have seemed to decrease a lot in frequency which I know means nothing but slightly worries me...'keep growing uterus!!!"

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? I don't know if I can pick one...pets and travelling for sure!

How far along are you? I think 5+2 but the u/s I had after my accident thinks 5+6

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? I'm not lol. I felt great at first but getting more anxious as time goes on. I had a mmc which arrested sometime in the 5th or 6th week, so I really wish I knew what was going on in there. My u/s was on track which was reassuring but now I'm freaking out that maybe there should've been a fetal pole at that point.

R/R/Questions? So about that fetal pole... are there any good resources on what should happen when? Google has been wishy-washy to me. I had a yolk sac and my gestational sac was at 9 mm, putting it at 5 weeks 4 days.

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? Pets. I also love travel and they can make it difficult so once in a while I fantasize about the freedom of not having any, but I could never not have pets, especially a dog.

Hi ladies! This is my first post in the check in so I'll do a quick intro. I have 2 girls, 3 and 5 and currently 5 weeks 3 days with baby #3. I've had 2 previous miscarriages at 11 weeks in 2009 and at 8 weeks Nov 2014.

I'm actually dealing ok with the anxiety. I've finally come to terms that no matter how much worrying, I can't change the outcome. I've had great betas, heartbeats and had both miscarriages and births. But that doesn't stop my mind from worrying about symptoms or analyzing things.

    No r/r/questions

Gtky: I can't live without tv. Sounds terrible and a bad habit, but I love it as my veg time after a long day at work. Particularly the Walking Dead
    March 2009 mmc 11 weeks
    Nov 2010 DD 1
    Oct 2012 DD 2
    Nov 2014 mmc 8 weeks

Ok so I found something. Hopefully reassuring and not scary to others.

"The guideline is that if the gestational sac measures >16-18 mm with no fetal pole or the fetal pole measures 5 mm with no heartbeat, then a diagnosis of miscarriage or blighted ovum is made."

    https://americanpregnancy.org/pregnancy-complications/early-fetal-development/

I was wondering what the guideline was since with my last mmc, the doctor said he didn't like to give an exact date based on measurements but it's more like, if they gestational sac is x size there should be a pole, if the pole is x size there should be a hb, etc. So that's the kind of thing I was looking for.

@MrsBinPA FX everything progresses normally! @JenRN2009 welcome, hoping for a sticky baby this time around!
@juliehollz13, I have also been having localized pains, but I think that they have to be very severe and usually accompanied with bleeding for it to likely be ectopic.

How far along are you? 5w3d (according to LMP and I know when I ovulated)

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? Some days are better than others. I was very positive the first few weeks (found out at 3w5d!), yesterday I started bawling. I am really scared, but I keep telling myself "the majority of pregnancies have no complications". I don't want to be a statistic this time around...

R/R/Questions? Rant: I feel really alone (see bawling above). DH and I agreed that we wouldn't tell anyone until after 11weeks. I want to be able to talk to someone over the phone, but at the same time I don't want to add any stress knowing others know.

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? My furbaby!

    edited to add an update:
I have an u/s scheduled for Thursday! I am excited and scared to death. Hoping for good news.

@juliehollz13 I found that one today too.  Totes hanging on to that for now.  Only time will tell.

I am prepared for the worst & hoping for the best.  I am in the office the next 2 days so that should keep me distracted more than working at home.

Had another check today at the RE.  Left with a picture of a definite IUP with yolk sac & maybe more inside.  Couldn't find heartbeat yet but the RE was happy with everything today.  I go back next week.

I am going to do my best to remain cautiously optimistic for a good week.  Week 6 doesn't have a good track record for me, but nothing about this one is like the others so hopefully all will turn out OK.

@MrsBinPA so good that everything is looking good and normal!

I also went in for an early u/s and saw gestational sac and a tiny spec which was the embryo and measure exactly right (5w6d)! He didn't give me a pic, but said that everything is looking great. I did another blood draw (third one) as a precaution. We go back in 10 days to hopefully see the heartbeat!

Those early u/s are bitter sweet because they see that everything is going well, so you feel better for about a minute and then they emphasize that it's very early, so it doesn't take away the worry...

@MamaWino I hear you!  I have to wait until next Friday for another peek.  Week 6 has been the week for both my losses, so if I can get to next appointment and have a good solid heartbeat it will bill be awesome.

I forgot to mention before... You're name is visible on your US pic.  You might want to re-post with it cropped off.   There can be weirdos out there.

ETA:  I saw your HCG level in the beta thread.  Seems pretty darn high to me!   Much higher than where I am.

Good call, thanks. I didn't even notice.

And re: hCG levels, yeah, they've been high from the start which would make sense for twins but I'm trying not to read too much into it since they can vary so much.

I'm praying that you see a strong heartbeat next week! The waiting is the worst!

    How far along are you?
    4 weeks and 4 days

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety?
I keep googling stuff and thinking way to much about it, the days go by so slow.

    R/R/Questions?
A question for those who know anything about thyroid numbers. So after my miscarriage I had my thyroid levels tested, not because I had any symptoms but because the Dr. mentioned it as a possible cause for repeat miscarriages. My levels came back "normal but not ideal" at 2.9 TSH, .9 Free T4 and 2.8 Free T3. I did not go on any meds.  I had them test them again at my 4 week Beta draw. They were 2.2 TSH, Free T4 at 0.8, and Free T3 at 2.8. They were happy with those numbers. My question is should I have the test repeated at any point? I don't think the Dr. will unless I ask. I know early pregnancy can be a bit of stress test on the thyroid and your chance of miscarriage increases if TSH is about 2.5.

Travel..I always have to have a trip booked or be planning one. Trying to think of ideas for a 2nd trimester trip.

@Morgan400 I have heard about the 2.5 cut off for TSH.  I would probably push the issue with your doctor to have it monitored closely.

How far along are you? 5 weeks, 2 days

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? Trying to be optimistic!! Both of my losses happened around 8 weeks. It's still early, but I am excited. Whenever I talk to my H about how the baby's growing, he says I shouldn't be counting my chickens before they hatch. He doesn't want me getting my hopes up and then experience another loss. I just want the next month to go by fast!!

    R/R/Questions?

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? My fur babies! Can't imagine my life without them.

I never saw this weeks PGAL thread.  I don't remember if I introduced myself on the last one, so I'm Megan.  We started trying in April last year and had our loss June.  I'm cautiously here, but I loved the support from TTGP and I'm happy to have a BMB.

    How far along are you?
    Based off o, 6 weeks 1 day

How are you dealing with PGAL anxiety? I am at a constant level of fear.  I just keep grabbing my boobs making sure they are still sore, it's my only noticeable symptom and I just keep checking to make sure they still hurt.  I want more symptoms.

R/R/Questions? I love seeing all the u/s pictures.  We had ours on Tuesday.  It was amazing to see the baby and to see the heartbeat.  We got a picture too.  It is now framed in our living room.

GTKY - What is one thing (other than family members) you can't live without? I will probably have to say books.  I love reading and I love books.

@itsmehere1212 - yay for a heartbeat!  I'm getting an ultrasound on Monday and I'm hoping to see one.  I'll be somewhere between 6w 1d and 6w 4d.

@penelope4612 - it was very exciting!  I had no idea we could see one until she told me that flickering light was the heartbeat.  From O I was 5 weeks 4 days and baby was measuring 5 weeks 6 days.
