Re: 2nd Tri Check-in Week of 4/4
I've been ridiculously emotional for the past few days
I decided to order some maternity clothes today. I borrowed a bunch from a couple of friends but I am still struggling to get dressed in the morning. This crazy New England weather lately is probably contributing to that... 70 degrees last Friday... today it's snowing and in the 30s!
On a much lighter note, baby is still kicking up a storm which makes my smile every single time! Even when our little nugget kicks Mommy in the bum!
Going to have to come back and answer my QOTW this is a tricky one!!!
Mr. Bojangles is due on 10/02, although he's measuring 3 days early right now. I've just decided to not change the due date for now until we get further down the road. We found out through our NIPT testing that the baby is a boy and was negative for all trisomy and sex chromosome issues. I'm still considered high risk and see a MFM specialist and my regular Ob. I had my 12w NT testing and Ob checkup on 3/25 and I had only gained 2lbs the first trimester (but that didn't count the weight I gained during stims and FET) and my blood pressure and all looked great. I finally got to stop PIO and estrace last week, so my backside is finally starting to heal. I don't go again until my 16w checkup on April 20th. This will be the longest I've gone without seeing a doctor, but I'll take that as good news.
QOTW: I'll try the tagline question.. "Yes, I may not be the wittiest little thing, but when I do speak, my words have bite." I had to sass it up a bit because it is the RH. I promise I'm not all bite!
@mechelita44 YES! I have been so annoyed with DH lately. I was in doing laundry and Noah was trying to get through the baby gate (it has a cat door on it) and he was going to get stuck. My DH could clearly hear me telling Noah not to do that and he just sat on the couch eating his little snack and playing on his phone. OMG, I could have smacked his head right off his shoulders. I did 5 loads of laundry (I do small loads lol) All I could think about was how on Saturday we went to the outdoor expo, for him! Sunday I cleaned and moved all of the crap in our room to make room for the crib and all he did was drive it to storage. I was muttering A LOT this weekend. GRRRRR And wow! I can't believe how your weather changes! That is crazy!
AFM: I've been feeling Wyatt constantly now, I can tell his sleep schedule and finally yesterday DH saw a kick! I can't wait for Noah to feel and see those kicks too. I can't believe I will see my little man in just 16 more weeks!!! This pregnancy is going by so fast this time around and I think it's from having a toddler too.
QOTW: RH tagline: Love, Pain and Tears, I am the Infertility Warrior!

@katie121209 - I don't know if there's a crib made that isn't somewhat of a disaster to put together!! My hubby and I managed it with our first without either of us killing each other - barely!
@mechelita44 - I'm SO emotional too. I'm definitely having some sort of hormone surge though because I've also gotten my first pimple outbreak as well. I was driving to meet a friend for lunch the other day, thinking about my daughter and how her life was going to change and I burst into tears wondering if we'd made a mistake transferring two embryos. That lead to this bizarre thought - I hope it's two boys so she can stay my baby girl!! HAHA! Pregnancy emotions are no joke!!
I'm 19w1d today. Feeling pretty good except for my pubic bone separation. At best, it feels like my pubic bone is bruised. But certain movements really hurt - rolling over in bed, getting up suddenly from a chair, going up and down stairs. My pregnancy support belt helps a lot. I usually take it off for the drive home and I definitely notice a difference walking out to my car. Heartburn is better - started Pepcid in the mornings. My blood sugars have been great since starting bedtime insulin last week. Just feeling big and waddle-y most days.
I have my level II ultrasound tomorrow, so we get an in depth look at the babies and will find out the sex of the other baby and which is which. I'm just praying all is well. The Harmony was great - no trisomies - but working in the NICU, I know all too well there can be a lot of issues beyond trisomies. So, I'm holding my breath a little bit.
QOTW: Oh geez, I'm going to have to think about that one. Too much for my pregnancy brain to process in the morning!

Ok, I am freakin out just a bit. I was drinking some lemonade and while I'm halfway through it I read that it hasn't been pasteurized

@terramae80, I'd be nervous too, but if you're really upset, maybe call your doctor's office tomorrow? They'll very likely reassure you. Remember--Google isn't your friend.
@piperella, welcome!!!
