    2. TWW: CD 24, and 3 DPO.

    3.  I'm just feeling optimistic today for some reason.  Hoping that I have a good week and that my TWW doesn't make me BSC!

    4. I love to roller skate.  I have so much fun, and work so hard when I'm practicing my dances and figures, that time just flies by and sometimes I skate for hours and don't even realize it's been that long!  I tend to hate exercising, but it's great for my body and for my mind and stress level, so anything that makes it seem like fun and not a hated 'workout' is my favorite!

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): 3rd cycle TTCAL, 12DPO.  Pretty sure I'm out this month. Sadface. I was trying not to get my hopes up, but of course I did anyway with the wild dreams & the cramping on CD9.  But I caved and tested this morning and BFN. So now I am waiting for AF this week.

    3. Rants/raves: I am crabby this morning so I could probably go on & on with rants, but I don't want to feed my negativity so I will refrain.

    *TW- child mentioned*
Rave: My big girl (almost 6 yo) is Star Student this week in her kindergarden class.  She worked so hard on her "All About Me" poster all last week on spring break and it's super adorable.  She is so excited to present it today and to share her special treat with her classmates.  She is such a sweet girl and my heart swells thinking about her.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? Hot Vinyasa yoga. Second choice is running outside.

    2. TWW. DPO10. Not feeling optimistic but I may stop by the Dollar Store and pick up some cheapie tests today.

    3. Feeling kind of neutral at the moment. My husband took the day off after being gone all weekend, so looking forward to hanging out. The weather has been beautiful lately.

    4. Jazzercise! Everyone laughs when I say that and all they picture are old ladies in leg warmers or something. But it's basically cardio dancing and strength training, and it's very challenging and super fun. I also recently starting running on my off days.

    2. WTO - CD16

    3. Rant - I'm exhausted - I haven't been falling asleep very well lately. Naturopath recommended a supplement if it didn't improve by stopping a different supplement but I'm likely to ovulate this week and I'd rather not add anything just yet. We'll see if I can hold off until I get either AF or a BFP.

Second rant - I got a new thermometer (Mabis) and it is in Fahrenheit which is like Greek to me. It isn't even like Latin, Latin I'd have a shot at understanding because I know Italian. But then again, the numerals are the same, so maybe not Greek. I'll go with some language that uses the same letters but I can't understand...

    4. I'm a cardio junkie - I like yoga but can't get my arse in to the gym on a schedule lately - so elliptical it is. I like running outside too but it hurts my joints and I'm fussy about the weather (neither too hot or too cold...)

CD 2. AF is not being nice. I  used to not sleep well during the luteal phase but I spent the past two weeks sleeping soundly and boom last night - not a single wink. Wonder if it's reversed; hoping it's just a fluke night from having too much angry "I'm not pregnant" espresso.

Tired. It's snowed a tonne this weekend, so I'm also cold. I love winter, but I'd prepared myself for the mobility that spring offers. It'll all be gone soon enough and I don't drive, so not much to worry about there.

We're officially renewing our lease for another year, which will make this the longest DH and I have ever lived in a single place and we love it here! DH is home again working, as he's got an appointment to meet with a potential family doctor. I'm going to tag along to see what she's like. I've never had one and hope she treats us like human beings. It'll be a relief to find one, finally. There's some kind of shortage in most places in Canada, but in Montreal it's literally impossible to secure one.

Ha, I kind of HATE exercise and do it to stay alive. I guess it's yoga, but that's maybe not quite why I personally do it? I always liked pilates, but they're boring at home and I don't want to go to a studio. I did Zumba years and years ago, long before it was a thing people did, from my friend from Colombia's Spanish VHS tapes of it and that was a blast, but again - I do not want to go out to take a class in it. I really despise exercise.

Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Benched until 2nd AF...But currently CD8

Rants/raves: I just can't get rid of this cold/cough I've had for 2+ weeks now. I get better and then 2 days later sick again. Happened last night, felt fine all day and then 5ish started feeling sore and tired and had a fever and chills all night. Also this week we are being audited some I'm hoping no one bothers me and I'll fly under the radar and have a chill week :)

GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise?  I don't currently do but I loved cross fit when I did it. I felt so strong and powerful. I really need to find a new one near me

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Benched until next week Wednesday (hopefully).  I feel like a broken record, but I feel optimistic that my hcg will be completely down to nothing by then, which is when I have my next blood draw.

    3. Rants/raves:  Rant:  I'm getting paranoid that I'll ovulate between now and my blood draw next week when I'm cleared to TTC actively again.  I just want to be cleared already!
Rave:  DH tried to make brownies yesterday but they were so overdone we couldn't even cut them.  Luckily he also go ice cream to go with them so we still got a treat.  It was so sweet of him to try but I'm not quite sure how he made them so hard; it was really impressive.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise?  When I can get myself to the studio, yoga.  I really dislike at home yoga though, so if I can't be bothered to leave the house to workout (most days), I like walking/running on the treadmill - then I get to watch Netflix and feel productive, so it's a bonus.

    2. Status: still benched.  I'm on cd52 if mc is counted as cd1. Anyone know?  I have to wait till af to ttc again.  Longest wait ever

    3. Rants/raves: see above.  I find out what by last hormone levels were today so FX that they are at 0 now. If they are,  im hoping I can get something to kick start my cycle.  Although,  I am pretty sure I ovulated (not temping so can't be certain) so maybe I'll get af any day.

Rave! We got a new vehicle! We're planning on getting something used but found a brand new truck that we love. Tons of space in the back seat.  Def will be our family vehicle

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise: anything but cardio! I was a dancer forever so I guys that counts as cardio,  but it's different.  I love weight lifting. Les mills pump is amazing

    ***UPDATE****

My doctors office called- HCG is at 7 now. So no more blood draws. My doctor said i could wait until after my next period to start TTC again. BUT this nurse said wait 3 months!!! It was on a message so I couldnt ask questions so trying to get a hold of them now. three months?? I dont want to wait that long!! Ugh. Hopefully my doc will say differently

Sorry to everyone who is out this cycle

    2. Status: WTO CD34

    3. Rants/Raves: is it possible to get WTO crazies? I think I've got them. POAS for ovulation tests for 20 days is getting to me. Plus all sorts of crazy symptoms. Friday I had horrible stabbing and "spasm-y" left ovary pain worth a dark almost positive OPK, negative test Saturday but my temp dropped to its lowest yet, Saturday night it felt like a hot knife was carving the inside of my uterus out and my left ovary hurt again so I was certain that AF was on her way, but nothing. Now Sunday and today my temp has been up really high and stable. If I hit the same temp again tomorrow it will look like I ovulated despite the negative test. I have to stop stalking my FF and comparing exact temps to the chart I got my BFP with. I am losing my mind waiting for anything to happen.

Rave: found a great new wine store that does 19th floor sunset yoga and wine tasting once a month and the memory box I painted this weekend to put all of the pictures and tests and hospital bands into was very therapeutic.

    4. I am a runner. I love to run. And swim. I can't play volleyball (was a D1 middle blocker on a college scholarship) anymore after 3 surgeries so those are what I get. I also really enjoy Sunday morning yoga with the DH. It's a fun time together.

    3. Rants/raves: I am feeling pretty positive this cycle. DH and I had a big talk last week about helping me to improve my mood and lifestyle. It helps me to have a plan. I'm also going to contact a therapist today - our m/c happened at a time when there was a lot of other junk going on and I think it just compounded everything. Our weather is absolutely beautiful and flowers are blooming...I'm pretty much full of rainbows and unicorn farts today, which is a nice improvement over recently!

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? Either walking or swimming. I ran with a roommate in college and that was fun, but I don't think I'd enjoy running by myself. DH and I take walks around our road and I love it!

ETA: super unrelated, but I'm in several crochet groups and they do "Crochet Alongs" where parts of patterns are posted over several weeks and they're abbreviated CAL. When I get on TTCAL, I always read it as "trying to crochet along." Close enough! :p

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) - WTO. I am on deck, but still not positive that I will get up to bat. Today is CD8, and our plan is for me to take a shot of Menopur on CD9 and 10, then will have U/S to observe follicle on CD 11. If Doc likes what he sees (shape and size-wise), I will be cleared to take a trigger shot....

    3. Rants/raves: I had the best time with my roommate from college this weekend. Friends since 1997(!) - It was a beautiful spring weekend, perfect to play tourist around town. We have both have a hard couple of years (her mom was killed by a drunk driver in December of 2012), so it's really nice to be able to see each other in person once in a while and cut loose.

My only rant (and it's not really) is that my TTCAL experience is getting real, and it definitely makes me anxious. I know that I need to stay present; there is precious little that I can even control....

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? I practice power yoga (95 degrees, vinyasa) and absolutely love it. I am not a natural athlete/exerciser, so I struggled to find something I enjoy that is good for me. I try to make it three times a week. I love this practice because it requires my focus and does as much (if not more) for my mind, as it does for my body.

    1. Intro:  Hi ladies, I am jumping in from MC/Loss in anticipation of moving forward.  Last week I found out from my midwife that my hcg was declining and the next day I had my first natural MC from my first pregnancy at 6+2.  It's been painful emotionally but I'm really thankful for the support from a lot of women, on TB and IRL, who have been where I am.

    2. Status:  WTO CD5 and benched until confirmation that hcg is zero.

    3. Rants/raves:  My midwife cleared us to try again this cycle pending hcg reaching zero before I O.  I'm thankful she's clearing us so quickly because of H's travel schedule coming up.  I'm honestly so worried this is not going to happen for us and it's just going to be a lot of frustrated trying, which I know is borrowing trouble and my H is helping me try to keep that in check.

    4. GTKY:  What is your favorite form of exercise?  I love running though I've gotten pretty far out of it.  Next would be Pilates or yoga.

@virginiaham I'm so sorry for your loss. :( I think we can all understand that feeling right after a MC of "it took so long to get pregnant and then when it finally happened it was a MC. Is this ever going to work out? Will I ever actually have a take-home rainbow baby?" I know it's so much easier said than done but try not to borrow trouble. I know after my MC I looked up stats about MCs obsessively. It really helped me to see that they're fairly common, unfortunately, and that most people who have a MC go on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy and baby.

I remember telling my DH "there is only about a 5% chance that we'll have a MC the next time I get pregnant...ya know... if I get pregnant again." Somehow knowing that the chance of having back to back losses was really low made me feel more confident going forward.

I don't really know what would help you since everyone is different. But hopefully you find something. Lots of creepy internet hugs.

@MWoodside A reset button - that's a great way to describe it. I do love it. Never thought I would, I don't particularly like sweating. HA! But as I remind myself when my mind starts making excuses not to go, I have never regretted going to a yoga class. Never.

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) Not technically new, but was here shortly between January and February after my first loss in November/December 2015. I had a quick BFP again so I kinda ghosted as not to look like an internet braggart. Unfortunately ended in loss again twoish weeks ago, so I'm back here now. Both MMC with heartbeats that eventually stop with no growth beyond measuring 6 1/2 weeks both times. I feel very uneasy that there is something wrong with me, but no way to know until some testing. Genetic testing on LO #2 could not be completed this last time due to insufficient sample to test.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Benched. I'm pretty sure until June at least. Can I still hang out here? I'm going to do some basic RPL lab work through my PCP just to have a starting point and have some semblance of control over this situation for when I hopefully get pregnant again.

    3. Rants/raves: I started temping again a few days ago just to see if I can maybe see when to expect AF (I'm probably getting betas anyhow) and my chart looks like utter garbage so far.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? I really need to get back into this. I'm actually signed up for a weekly "Legs and Abs" class through our Parks and Rec department that starts tonight, so we will see. I'm going to get back to running once the snow ends here, which is my ultimate favorite exercise by far. A close second is road biking. I've also dabbled in hot yoga before, and am thinking of getting a package as a splurge present to myself.

I’m loving everyone’s responses to the exercise question.  I hate working out unless I can see it more as fun, so I love seeing what others do to try to come up with new things to try!

@SnobunnieMel I think WTO crazies are a thing!  I swear I had them this cycle too.  I was temping and checking cervical fluid and used my OPK and everything was great. I expected my temp to spike the next day and it didn’t!  It happened the day after that, but I was totally crazy for a few days! Hopefully your cycles will figure their stuff out soon!!!

    I'm so sorry @Wishilivedinflorida :(
I had an almost identical experience. I felt like I was broken or something. All the RPL bloodwork turned out to be normal and this is giving me hope to continue to try. I do think two MMCs in a row can just happen, but it obviously warrants a loser look.

I hope you get any answers/advice you seek. Being benched is hard, but I tried to use it as an opportunity to get back to my old self, as much as possible. ((Hugs))

    1. I'm here after my most recent mmc last month.  I've had two mmc in the past 6 months and an early natural mc 4 years ago.

    2. We are NTNP.  I'm waiting for my first period after D&C, and then we can officially try.  I had some RPL testing last week and everything they tested came back normal.  It doesn't give us an answer but we can at least rule out some conditions that could increase miscarriage risk.

    3. Rant- HCG is still showing up on my hpt.  I am going to test again later this week and hopefully it will be negative.

    4. I like walking, hiking, and biking when the weather is nice.  I'm a wimp in the cold though!

@virginiaham I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending healing thoughts your way. This is a wonderful board, full of supportive and compassionate women. I like that we can vent about our TTC and MC frustrations, while also looking forward to the future and trying to enjoy life again.

    2. Status: Still benched, I guess. It's been 5+ weeks now since my MC, and no AF in sight. Feeling like a broken record at this point. Tested negative last week, so I know my HCG went down. Due to an "oops" moment last week, I think I may take a test if AF doesn't arrive by this weekend, just for peace of mind.

    3. Rant: This weekend was very difficult for me. I had been doing great. I hadn't cried in weeks, and really felt like I had come out through the other side of this experience in one piece. But I was around lots of friends this weekend, and I swear, everyone was pregnant. During brunch yesterday, the two girls next to me chatted to each other about their pregnancies. They're both going to my doctor, and there were moments when I wanted to jump in and add something to their conversation. But then I realized that my comments aren't welcome. My story doesn't end happily. So I sat there, silent and feeling alone. My best friend is also pregnant (we were a week apart), and she found out the sex on Friday. This weekend she shared the news with everyone and received some gifts. I'm overjoyed for her, but it was hard to watch. I don't want to be that person who has to walk away, but I did. Several times. I feel awful.

    4. GTKY: Going on a hike is the perfect idea of exercise to me. Anything else is torture. If I'm determined to get fit, I do boot camp, which is 40 minutes of intense cardio/weight training. I hate every minute, but at least it goes by fast.

    Edited for spelling.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.)- benched. i finally got my zero beta last Thursday (YAY!) and now i'm waiting on my first AF. OB told me i can schedule my HSG day 5-11 of my second cycle so i'm anxiously waiting for my first AF so I have some time frame in mind.

    3. Rants/raves: my rant is this weather. i'm in the northeast, friday was 80 and gorgeous and today it was snowing. not cool. rave- last week i started a new diet and exercise routine. I'm trying to focus on things i can control instead of driving myself crazy with things i can't control.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? i love running but it doesn't love me back. My knees are pretty shot from sports over the years but it's what i enjoy the most for exercise. I've been thinking of trying hot yoga and i think you have ladies have convinced me to give it a shot. I've tried regular yoga a few times and it's wasnt really for me but maybe hot yoga will do the trick.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) I believe I am waiting to O or maybe TWW?  see below...

    3. Rants/raves:
My body feels so messed up this cycle, which makes me want to cry because I'm 5 months out from this miscarriage and still feel weird. I was away this weekend and because I was so early in my cycle I didn't take any OPKs or a thermometer. Well, on CD 8 I had a hormone headache like I get around ovulation, a ton of EWCM, ovulation pain and a couple days later a change in cm. I had my HSG on Cd 5 and some people say they ovulate early that cycle, but CD 9 or 10 seems absurdly early. I am home now, so I guess I will just keep taking OPKs and seeing what happens.

When I met with my RE she said some people can take 8 months to a year to regulate even after an early miscarriage. I almost curled in a ball on her office floor. I took over a year to get my period after giving birth, but never expected that such an early miscarriage would wreak such havoc on my body. Ugh.

In more positive news, I'm feeling hopeful that we have finished all of our testing for the RE and have some direction coming soon!

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise?
Hmm, I love walking my dog. I like to get my exercise by doing things that don't feel like exercise. I used to love pilates, but haven't been in a long time.

I will come back later and respond to you ladies!

    1. Not new, but we have a lot of new faces so I'll do a recap. Had my MC at 13 weeks at the end of Nov (baby measured 8 weeks...there was a LOT of anger with my body about that 5 week time frame). We were given the okay to start TTC again right away and so we started NTNP in Dec. Actively trying since February (Jan my body benched itself by bleeding basically every day of the month). We are getting pretty damn close to 2 years in our TTC journey.

    2. WTO currently CD11, its looking like it'll be any day now.

    3. Rant: DH and I can't seem to be in the mood to BD at the same time anymore. It's frustarting when he's raring to go a week too early and then couldn't really be bothered during my fertile window. Oh the joys of TTC

Rave: I have been pretty good at actually temping! I've only been temping since a few DPO last cycle but so far I've only missed one day! (Which happened to be today because I slept in way too much!)

    3. Hiking! I love being outside and we are surrounded by beautiful forest at our door step. Our town is pretty much a gigantic hill surrounded by more hills so the views after mostly hiking uphill are so rewarding.

Also so I just wanted to say welcome to all of the new faces that I've seen pop by the last few weeks. I'm so sorry for all of your losses.

    1. Introduce yourself (if you're new) Recap- Missed miscarriage 5 weeks ago at 9w2d (baby measured 7w4d) and D&C 3 days later.

    2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.) Benched, waiting for first AF. Last week took a pregnancy test, still positive- OB checked betas today so will see the results tomorrow. Until hcg goes down to 0, don't anticipate ovulation happening anytime soon. Hoping for not super high levels!!

    3. Rants/raves: My doctor said we had to wait 3 cycles to try again- that just seems like forever! I've seen so many different opinions...don't really know what is right. He basically said that because he was concerned about the uterine lining having enough time to recover for proper implantation.

    4. GTKY: What is your favorite form of exercise? I love to ride my bike, swim, play tennis- a little bit before I found out I was pregnant my friend convinced me to water aerobics with her and it actually was pretty fun even though we were one of the youngest people there. I kept doing it while I was pregnant for its low impact- may consider continuing it.

    2. WTO, benched, jacked up from miscarriage still that happened over 3 months ago. I'm benched by choice at this point. Still not normal in my cycles and temping but no ovulation yet... Been spotting but stopped a few days ago.

    3. Kind of annoyed if having a miscarriage has caused me to have annovulatory cycles and be messed up. Going to the doctor but it really stinks to go from normal and everything is perfectly fine to everything is totally messed up, it's 3 months later, and this whole miserable experience is just going to keep dragging itself out longer and longer. Once I'm back to normal we will try. I have a ultra sound to check for polyps Thursday and if they find nothing.. Then checking my hormones. We will see what happens. Really annoying. I have plans in May- like my birthday to get really drunk and have fun though, so might be a blessing in disguise.

    4. I love to run and have a few races coming up. Just ran the NYC Half. Awesome race for runners out there, extremely PR friendly, you run through Times Square, amazing crowds, it's my favorite half yet and I've run like 15. I have the Brooklyn half in May- also cool because you end at the beach on the boardwalk so looking forward to that too.

So FF gave me dotted cross hairs today (yay!!) but I still saw a faint positive on an HPT where I am testing out hcg so I don't know if my crazies are officially TWW crazies now or still WTO. I tried searching for past convo's on +HPT and O'ing post d&c but not much help. It's been the same super faint for over a week now, no change. does anyone have any experience with this?

@BornReady Sorry about your weird cycle.  I’m 5 months out too and just am starting to feel back to normal.  But, last month was really weird for me where I ovulated an entire week earlier than I have since before I came off of birth control years ago.  So, I guess we still just have to expect the unexpected?  Totally sucks and I hope your cycle starts to cooperate some soon!

@SnobunnieMel I don't have any experience with this, though I'm in a similar situation this month.  I think it's possible to O with some hcg still in your system.  My hunch tells me keep temping and see what happens in the next few days as maybe your CHs may turn solid with a sustained shift or they may disappear.  If you have Internet cheapies, I'd keep using those regularly as well so that if O happened/happens and this cycle is successful, you can be looking for a darkening HPT toward the end of your LP rather than thinking the maybe still faint HPT is +.  Has your doc traced your hcg back down?
