What's new with baby (size, development): rudimentary eyes are formed and they are the size of tater tots or green olives. Babies heartbeats may be strong enough to pick up on a Doppler (except I have a retroverted uterus so probably not).
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: DH ordered some books on raising twins and twin pregnancy. I started cleaning out our spare room that will become the nursery.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: My mom told me yesterday she didn't have any morning sickness with me so I guess I inherited that from her! Still just having some nausea, and aversions to textures (ground meat makes me want to vomit), so frigging bloated by the end of the day (DH and my mom mentioned my blump belly), constipated and gassy. I wish I could drink coffee but the babies do not approve so I'm stuck with tea.
ETA: How could I forget to add that the SCH is like *half* the size it started at! I was super pumped to read the US report yesterday. Babies measured 8+2 and 8+3 at the ultrasound (on 8+3) which means they caught up to each other and where they belong as well. Heartbeats were 166 & 175. I'm elated...I'm really beginning to believe I'm actually going to bring home twins this fall!
When is your next appointment: Monday with the family MD, Apr 14 for the OB

What's new with baby (size, development): facial features starting to sprout. paddles wiggling. a little sweet pea.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: working with an architect to add a master suite and nursery to the house over the next 8 months.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: P'd OAS today since symptoms are so mild. Happy to see such a dark line.
When is your next appointment: First one on Tuesday with a new OB.
GTKY: (stolen from Monday's!) Tell me about you and your SO's first date. I was looking for new friends after moving to a new city, and didn't want to get into a relationship immediately. DH and I had both just moved there to start grad school. I agreed to dinner with DH as friends, and he took me to a restaurant called Hand in Hand. I was annoyed, but he was too good a guy to give up.

What's new with baby (size, development): size of a southern pecan or a jack and apparently ossification is occurring. Yay!
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I'm researching double stroller. Pretty sure I want the city select. Also researching names
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: The nausea can suck it. My work load has been increased and I'm having a lot of trouble keeping up. I'm just over it.
When is your next appointment: April 14th!
GTKY: (stolen from Monday's!) Tell me about you and your SO's first date. We went to this little bar on the water, drank beer and ate bar pie. It was great! Then we went for a walk on the beach and made out hahaha.
What's new with baby (size, development): baby is about the size of a grape/olive. Apparently we have graduated from embryo to fetus.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
Just trying to keep it together until my next appointment lol. OH! And we are having out announcement pictures taken on Sunday.

I've just been having terrible bloat in the evenings. I guess the plus side is it keeps me from eating much junk in the evenings.

our first official date was to a wedding. I was a family friend and his cousin was getting married so we went together.
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is no longer an embryo. Baby is a fetus!

We ate at Golden Corral but I'd just had my wisdom teeth removed a few days prior So I didn't eat much. I liked him (first time we'd met in person) but I'd been married before and had young children. I was looking for a Christian man. It was December and a local farm had an outdoor "walk through the Bible" so I took him there. He didn't call the next day until REALLY late. I thought he wasn't the Christian man I was looking for. When he called, he told me he wasn't sure what to say because he was looking for a Christian woman and was so surprised that I wasn't "just like all the others" that he didn't know what to say. That's why he didn't call earlier.
What's new with baby (size, development): Grape, eyes have formed but are sealed shut until 27 weeks.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Figuring out how to tell our friends and family.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: This week has been much better than the previous two. I even took off my sea bands for two days!
When is your next appointment: April 7
GTKY: (stolen from Monday's!) Tell me about you and your SO's first date. We went out to eat and there was more than an hour wait at the restaurant so we went to a bar for a drink and then got cheesecake instead.
What's new with baby (size, development): Size of a blueberry, limbs are starting to form
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Packed up and organized my first kid's baby clothes. If #2 is a boy we are totally set.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I'm hungry for all the unhealthy food. I had gotten in a great routine of eating a salad every day for lunch, but now the thought is so unappealing.
When is your next appointment: Monday! And it will be my first appointment of this pregnancy. I don't expect to get an ultrasound, but will hopefully get to schedule my first one!

We had been spending a lot of time together watching Seinfeld reruns, then one night we made out instead of watching the show. And we've been together ever since

Our baby is the size of an Appleseed and is beginning to form his/her ears and a heartbeat has probably started.
What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
We are enjoying planning everything and have started buying the baby essentials needed.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
My symptoms are just sooooo bloated and I've only been nauseous twice (haven't thrown up). I'm so anxious waiting for an appointment to see my baby. Drinking only water will be a long 9 months ahead.

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: still not much. Working on our announcement because the other half can't keep their mouth shut!
