High HCG

i had my first blood draw 2 days ago. I am unsure of my LMP, due to a miscarriage on 2/12 and never getting my period. If I count my LMP as 2/12, I'm 6w6d. My HCG level was over 69,000. My OB did not sound concerned in his message, just stated my test was "very positive". The number fits within the range of 7-8w. Does anyone think this number is high?

Sorry to hear about your M/C, but I'm glad your levels are looking really good this time! There was a thread yesterday discussing HCG levels if you want to poke around some more, but the gist of it is that "normal" HCG levels are within a really wide range. High HCG levels are very likely normal but occasionally indicative of multiples.

I was the one asking about high hcg levels and everything has been perfectly normal with me. Got an early ultrasound today and there's only one in there. In my case, I just really was farther along than I had thought.
