Due yesterday as well. Got some strong braxton hicks last night which got my hopes up but nothing happened. Scheduled for induction on Sunday but apparently they do not give me a scheduled time. They will basically call whenever they are free, which means if they arent, I dont get the baby on Sunday. This sucks...
I was due the 28th, scheduled an induction for next Tuesday. On the bright side, I tricked my sister into thinking I was at the hospital as an April Fools joke. She gets me every year and this was the first time I really got her good! It was worth celebrating April Fools a day early! Now she's mad at me. Haha!
Me too! 40+2 went in yesterday for a non stress test. Babe looked great but all of a sudden my amniotic fluid is too high. Having another nst and measuring amniotic fluid tomorrow. If it's still high, they said they want to induce over the weekend. Freaking out about the high fluid a little bit and possible induction.
@msciann try not to stress too much about the extra fluid. I had extra fluid from 25 weeks on and was really stressed about it. It ended up being the reason for my induction, as well. But, everything came out fine and I'm sure it will work out for you too.

I've done one NST so far and 2 ultrasounds for being late. I was under the impression that low fluid was more of the concern. Did you get a # for fluid level? Mine told me they want 8-28 so at 16 for me everything looks good (except the date on the calendar putting me at 41+2!) and they seem ok with me going to just about 42 weeks before inducing.
Thanks @katy0990! Yeah, my fluid was at a 32 which is pretty high. Midwife said it could be a fluke and that's why she wants me to have it measured again. When I went in for all my previous scans, fluid was in the normal range. I want what's best for baby but am so apprehensive about an induction. Originally had planned to labor at home for as long as possible and wanted a drug free birth once I got to the hospital. Obviously, I'm open to anything that will keep me and baby healthy. It's just hard to have to adjust. Good luck ladies!
Still hanging in there. 40+1 here. Baby played an April fools joke on me today, I thought my water had broken. It hadn't so still waiting! Good luck everyone!
Fluid was back to normal (15 cm) at my scan, had to get a 2 hour long NST because baby's heartrate did something funky during a contraction, but then all looked well, so I'm back home and still waiting! I'm actually not that impatient but everyone at the hospital kept asking me why I didn't want to be induced. Just want him to come when he's ready! Good luck all
40wk 2 days so desperate to meet him or her? Yesterday I just started crying for no reason... had lots hicks and mucas plug coming out thicker now than the clear stuff for last two weeks.... come on baby can't wait to meet you
Water broke spontaneously on Saturday morning and contractions started 4 minute apart. Daniel was born Sunday at 3:42 am after 17 hours of labor and 30 minutes of pushing. He was 7lbs 4oz and 19.5 inches. Born 5 days past his due date. Good luck mamas to be!!
I'm a lurker from July, just curious how many people are going past due. I went to 41+4 with DD and then was induced. I was very nervous about it, but managed no epi and it went surprisingly well. She was also only 7 lb. 1 oz., so she knew what she was doing I guess. Doctor had predicted a 9 pounder based on a recent u/s. Hang in there ladies. I'm expecting my July 30 EDD to mean an August baby already!

I went to 42 weeks before agreeing to an induction. No health problems just late, and FTM. Was supposed to get induced on 42+0 but went into labor the night before! 24 hour unmedicated labor so she was born 42+1. Last ultrasound said 9lb5oz but was 8lb6. Some meconium in the fluid but not a problem in her system and she did not have to go to NICU. Almost 100% sure her due date was correct because of dates and an early ultrasound.
I finally had my LO eight days past my due date. He was 7lbs 9oz, and didn't have any post-date issues to speak of. I'm glad he was able to cook a little longer, since he wasn't all that big of a baby!
