Me (34): DOR d/t chemo/radiation, Immature Endometrial Lining, Hypothyroidism
DH (35): MFI d/t testicular torsion and removal, Low T, Oligospermia, Anti-Sperm Antibodies, Currently on T supplements
Sept '11-April '13 ~  Testing, failed multiple MFI treatments, saving & TONS of praying
January 2014 ~ IVF/ICSI & PGS ~ no response to stims ~ converted to IUI ~ BFN
February 2014 ~ On to donor embyros ~ 5 blasts!!! 
March 2014 ~ FET #1 ~ Transferred 2 blasts ~ BFN
July 2014 ~ Kliman's mock cycle with endometrial function test
Sample too small for EFT, HE slide showed immature cells
New protocol planned, saving for another biopsy for EFT
January 2015 ~ Considering adoption options
April 2015 ~ Privately arranged adoption of planned pregnancy
DD#1 ~ Lillyana Violet Marie born 6/15/16, Finalized adoption 12/20/16
July 13, 2018 ~ BFP....WTF?!?!
7/16 Beta #1 ~ 466...7/18 Beta #2 ~ 1,077...7/23 Beta #3 ~ 5,291
7/23 US #1 ~ 1 gestational sac seen and yolk sac
7/30 US #2 and 1st OB appt ~ 1 perfectly round gestational sac, 1 perfect yolk sac and 1 teeny tiny heart beat seen!!!

    Hey, I don't want you to get in trouble with the bump gods so just wanted to let you know that it's technically against the TOU to post gofundme links and anything that monetarily benefits you so you might want to take down the link at least.

    I think it can be PMed to any one who asks for it though. I believe I saw something similar on another board. But yes it's against the TOU, and I'd hate to see you in trouble for it.

    To raise funds so she can take time off of work to be with her baby. Her work doesn't give paid time off for adoption.

    I hate that policy.... When my parents adopted me 28 years ago, my dad had to use most of his sick/paid vacation time, and he worked for the government.... My mom was a school teacher and she got lucky because not only was the school she was at freaking amazing, but so was the school district (which now sucks major balls) and gave her as much time as she needed or wanted to spend with me.

    Oh my gosh your story made me well up big time! Such a sad story with a happy ending for you and your hubby!

    I told H about it last night and it made him mad, too. Just because you don't physically give birth doesn't mean you don't deserve time to bond with your baby. It's not like adoption is easy!

    I think it truly sucks but MANY jobs do not give paid time off for having babies (adoption or otherwise), mine included. It's part of the cost of having a baby I guess.
