Anyone ever have red marks show up on stomach and then go away?

i traveled all day yesterday and I felt my skin was dry but didn't put my oil in my carry on like I  had intended to.. My skin wasn't itchy but it felt like a constant burn like the skin was ripping. Then I got home and immediately got in the shower to put oil on and saw hundreds of red lines and panicked that it was a ton of stretch marks so I smothered my skin with oil and lotion.. This morning I got up and there were no lines but my skin still looks very dry. I'm just worried it could've been a rash or maybe they really are stretch marks? I just don't know if I should call the dr or if this is normal. Anyone have anything like that?

Stretch marks don't disappear. Honestly, it sounds like you were wearing a textured fabric with some 'ribbing' in it that rubbed against your belly.  I could be totally off, but that's what it sounds like.

It sounds like you may have had some dry skin rash thing going on, that happens to me all the time in the winter.
