1. Living in my own home is glorious! Now if I can just find my....yeah....everything.
2. H is off for the week. I'm sending DD to the babysitter so that we can get stuff organized and put away.
3. DD successfully transitioned to a big girl bed. This is a HUGE win for me because I had no intention of buying a new crib for the May baby! Here's a pic of my lil girl. I'm so proud of her
1. I'm back to work after a week off for spring break. 2. Last week, I got to have a lot of fun playing with DS during the day, and getting lots accomplished during nap time. 3. A little over a month's worth of freezer meals/crockpot prep bags are ready to go in the deep freeze. 4. Closets and rooms have been reorganized and deep cleaned. 5. My car was given a thorough cleaning, DS's seat is now forward facing, and the infant car seat is reinstalled. (Holy moly was that tiring!) 6. I'm so glad that I got so much nesting done, but I definitely should have taken at least a day to pamper myself during nap time rather than working through it. 7. After going to the zoo on Thursday and seeing an elephant spray water, DS's new favorite little game is pretending to squirt water at me. I pretend to be wet, ring my hair out, etc. and he cracks up. 8. I'm anxious for my OB appointment tomorrow. LO has been changing position a lot lately and is facing inward now...but I'm getting equally strong movements low and high so I can't tell if he's still breech or not. I'm hoping my OB will be able to tell. 9. I'm ready for the weather to be consistently spring-like. Sunday, I was able to wear a tank-maxi. Today I need a winter coat again. 10. I'm glad that DH has a short break from his grad classes-- I love being able to spend more time with him in the evenings.
1. I am thinking about calling off work tomorrow just because I need a "me" day to relax.
2. I am trying to call my doctor to discuss my ever swelling feet and legs because I can't tolerate the pain at the end of the day. Hence, my needing a "me" day to keep my feet up.
3. I sorted through clothes my neighbor gave me and got them all washed last night. Now just to put them away. LO will not need clothes until she is about a year old. That's a good feeling.
4. My SO is gone all this week and I miss him terribly. But I haven't minded the whole not cooking thing!
5. Speaking of cooking.. I will likely eat McDonald's for dinner -_-
6. LO has been moving consistently throughout the day which is comforting to me.
7. Doc said she was head down but I swear she's sideways... or just stretch Armstrong.
8. No patients the rest of the work week after today, yay.
1. I am just not feeling it today but if I don't work hard I'll get more behind and being more behind and even one day further along is not a good combo. So, yeah, I need to get off here and work. 2. I got a new car and I love it. I drove my two-door honda civic for 12.5 years. It was time! 3. I have a grad student coming in to meet with me today who I can't stand. Sorrynotsorry. Not looking forward to that meeting and thinking about it is contributing to my sour mood. 4. Okay, one thing that is more uplifting: A woman randomly came up to me over the weekend and told me I should be in Paris or NY modeling. LOL! I am six feet tall so people do say that to me sometimes (or used to, like 10-15 years ago!) but I gotta admit, it felt realllllllly good being told that at 34 weeks. My H is the sweetest thing but not great with the compliments. Like today he said "You look nice." I mean, yeah, thanks, but I want him to say something like "I can't believe I"m married to someone so beautiful!" So in sum, it was nice to get an over-the-top compliment.
@kbrands7 and @Jenly17 I completely agree that forward facing rocks! My son loves it! He has started tossing things in the infant seat since I had it installed in the middle so it is right next to him. I may have to move that over, but can't remember which side makes more sense for the infant seat vs the toddler?
Anyways, here are my things: 1. I made shepherd's pie last night with the leftover lamb from Easter and I swear it was the greatest meal I have ever had in my entire life. I also made homemade biscuits drizzled with honey infused butter. The sounds I was making while eating it were completely pornographic, but I don't care.
2. I have leftover shepherd's pie for lunch today. I may need to eat it in my car so I don't freak out my coworkers and/or get fired for having too pleasurable a time.
3. I feel so guilty because my BFF from church took on this ridiculously HUGE project of organizing this super involved community event at the church and I offered to help out. Well, her husband's aunt just passed away and they need to go up to Vermont for the wake/funeral. The event is this Saturday and she just sent me this gigantic list of all the stuff that still needs to be done, but I can't do it all. I roped MH into doing some of it, but there is a lot of set-up, creating flyers, organizing entertainment, deciding on different craft stations, getting all the materials for the crafts and sensory tables (it is a Light it Up Blue event for Autism Awareness), and just thinking about it is making me exhausted!
4. On top of that, we usually run the children's choir at our church together, but she has been so preoccupied that I have taken that on all by myself. I totally missed the boat on having the kids perform at Easter (ooops!) so I planned to have them perform this coming Sunday. So I am trying to send out emails and put together little props for them to use to help prompt them since I don't think any of the kids remember the song. I even sent a video of my son and I singing it with the hand motions (which is freakin adorable BTW!).
5. They STILL haven't hired my long-term sub for my maternity leave at school. I am livid! I really hope they don't plan on calling me while I am on my maternity leave to help out whoever they throw in there last minute because I know myself and I will end up coming in with Baby Luna strapped to my chest, but I really should just let that ship sink!
6. I had a massive breakdown last night going over all my "specials" (the kids who have unique and complicated cases) and wondering what is going to happen to them when I am gone. How can I possibly pass on to another nurse that So-and-so just needs to see a smiling face during the day or that So-and-so's mother is going through a really rough time and will call just to hear a friendly voice or that if you see this kid in the office you NEED to call the mom or she will freak out on you the next morning or that Teacher A tends to go off the deep end and needs a little more reassurance or that you should NEVER try to talk to Admin B before lunch? Especially when we only have 2 weeks left until April break!!!
7. 28 days until my scheduled RCS! AHHHHHHHHH!
8. MH is having a bunch of people over our house this weekend to help him build a wall to split my son's room into the nursery and his room. I am having a little bit of a panic attack because he said "Oh, yeah, I'll just have the guys come over at 2:30 and we will be done by 6pm at the latest, no problem!" Yeah, and then a giant pink elephant will fly by the window and carry us all off to Candyland!
9. I think I pulled something in my pelvis with the intense coughing fit I had last night.
10. My son crawled into bed with me this morning and gently laid his hand on my belly. He started whispering "Good morning, Baby Luna. I can feel your head. Are you awake? Mama isn't, but that's ok, I talk to you. Want a high five? But be gentle! Don't hurt Mama! I'm going to school today and I miss you." then he gave my belly a kiss. I had to pretend to be asleep because I didn't want him to see me crying. And that makes all the other stuff just fade away.
1. Back to work after 10 days of being lazy. Okay, 3 out of the 10 I was working but DH was home working with me so it was better than usual. 2. DH and I both have the flu (not your flu - our flu - worse than a cold but better than Bronchitis) 3. Flu usually means Bronchitis for me though so here's hoping I can nip it in the bud. 4. Got our pram this weekend, and car seat. 5. My parents made an awesome donation to our baby fund and I don't know what to spend it on wisely. 6. Really did not enjoy Batman vs Superman. Disappointed. 7. 7 Weeks until Baby Boy arrives!! 8. We received a random gift today from someone we don't know and have never met. It's a friend of my younger sister's mom. I have also never met the friend... What a sweet gesture though! 9. We have half a milktart (South African tart) in the fridge left from yesterday and it's calling to me. Will have a healthy dinner of Chicken and Veggies to balance it out. 10. My head is pounding so I'll leave it at that. Happy Tuesday ladies!!
1. I have to try to figure out when I'm going to take one of my dogs to the vet this week- I'm 99% sure she has a UTI. I'm hoping the meeting I have tomorrow ends super early and I can try to get home in time to take her to the vet. I'm not holding my breath though b/c it's going to take me 2 hours to get to the meeting, 2 hours to get back and we live 40 ish minutes away from our vet (we refused to switch when we moved). 2. Two baby showers down, one to go! We definitely have stuff to buy, but we're trying to hold off until after the last one just in case. 3. I love Target. We got two of something with no gift receipt, but we returned it at Target for store credit, which I then immediately spent on more stuff for baby girl. 4. Went to the dentist yesterday- they say I have no cavities. I'm still not 100% sure I believe them, not because of any pain but because it's just not typical. I think it's just because of the no x-rays thing. Also I hate how sore my gums always feel after a dentist appt. 5. I still absolutely love the branch I transferred and from the sounds of it I transferred at the perfect time because my other branch is full of drama at the moment. 6. I want ALL the cupcakes. ALL OF THEM. 7. My Mom gave up on the gluten free thing she was trying to see if it helped with her MS, so she gave all of the stuff to me (I'm allergic to it), which means I got a WHOLE LOT of Gluten Free Girl Scout Cookies. SCORE! 8. This week I seem to be starving/dying of thirst. 9. We got a whole bunch of diapers at my baby shower, we need to get more wipes, and I'm sure we'll need more diapers, but we're still debating if we should buy more. I think we'll buy more if there is a deal (coupons or buy a certain amount and get a gift card) but otherwise we're not stressing. 10. I really need to get on the whole packing/preparing a hospital bag but, yea, apparently I lack motivation for that. I think it's because my brain can't accept that it's getting to that time.
1. My daughter is on vacation with her grandparents this week. It's spring break and her grandma watches her while I work. She's having fun with her cousins but my pregnant hormones can't handle her being gone. I talked to her last night and cried after I got off the phone. And I have until Friday. Ugh
2. DH has a little cold, so while I don't have an 8 year old to take care of I have a 33 year old to take care of.
3. I've been having menstrual like cramps in the lower back and the front of my belly now.
4. I drank a ton of water first thing this morning and now I don't feel well. I can't wait to have my body back and feel normal.
5. My friend is going through fertility treatments and I hope it works for her. They've been through so many obstacles. And she's been one of the biggest supporters of my pregnancy. I need to do something nice for her.
6. Oh sh!t, it's the 29th. I have a tentative c section date a month from today!
7. The baby's nursery isn't even done (haven't even started). We're still doing some renovations. I'm not even stressing out anymore. She'll be in our room at the beginning anyway. I'm usually such a planner and want everything perfect before she comes, but I don't care anymore. She's welcome to come when she wants and we'll make do.
@kp90 Baby here is head down, too, but she sticks her butt to the left and stretches her legs out full to the right making her feel transverse. It's crazy uncomfortable. I'd bet something like that is what's going on. Crazy babies.
@sweetbriarbee I thought that's what my LO was doing also but sometimes when I get the hard big lump on my right.. I'll have another decent size lump on the left.. I so badly wish I could see what the heck she is doing in there. Just hoping she IS head down and stays that way.

This is what my girl is doing too! In fact, whenever people see the giant lump (on my right side) they want to touch it, thinking it is her head and I don't have the heart to tell them it is definitely her little tushie! But I do feel her legs and feet stretching out and I just imagine she is this giant octopus because I feel like she is in like 4 different positions at once! And I am so with you @kp90 that I wish I had a little window to see all the cool things she is doing in there! I imagine she is quite the acrobat
1. My due date is a month from today, crazy!! 2. For some reason I have a strong feeling that she is going to come early. I wouldn't bet on it though as my 'motherly intuition' doesn't have the greatest track record so far, I also had a strong feeling that she was a boy... 3. I've been doing a lot of nesting at work - cleaning out my desk and taking care of everything pending. It feels good! 4. I've been doing a wee bit of nesting at home. I'm giving myself until 37 weeks to be done prepping for baby, so that gives me 2 more weekends! We still need to get a car seat. And diapers/wipes. And pack a bag. And assemble the stroller. And other stuff. 5. I can't remember if I mentioned this already but our apartment building was sold and the new landlord is not renewing leases. They've started renovating the many vacant units including the one right above us. It is SO LOUD. They should be finished with that unit before the baby comes but the whole situation is stressing me out. FX they will be sympathetic to our situation when our lease is up in July so that we can extend until the end of the year and not move with a newborn. 6. We will probably make a BIG move (from NYC to the LA area) when the time comes, which I'm excited about. 7. The LO has discovered the jungle gym formerly known as my rib cage and I swear one of them is bruised. It hurts to the touch and also when I turn my body. It makes me think of when Bella was pregnant Renesmee in Twilight (because I'm cool)... 8. I started watching Happy Valley on Netflix this weekend and it is SO GOOD. If you like crime/cop shows you should definitely check it out. 9. I've got to call my insurance today to put in my request for a pump. 10. Seeing everyone starting to bust out their spring fashions makes me jealous. I miss having fun getting dressed everyday.
@Charissadeats What did you not like about the movie? DH keeps saying he wishes we could go see it, but I could have sworn that we both agreed it was a movie we'd rather get from the Redbox. I don't know if he's heard it's good but I've heard nothing but negative things about it.
@bookelf221 I haven't started to pack a hospital bag either. I need to but... I feel like it's so much work.

1. DH and I are now in our new house!! We love the house.
2. We are both overwhelmed because there is SO MUCH we need to do (put up blinds, hang the wall cabinets in the bathrooms, buy vanities for the bathrooms because just the sink doesn't work for us, unpack the boxes, set everything up, paint the babies room, buy me a new dresser so the two I have can go in the guest room where it belongs and the other can be painted and go in baby's room, etc)
3. We need to go buy paint to do the accent in baby's room and then set up the crib.
4. I am so stressed out and overwhelmed by everything that need to be done for the nursery, before baby is born, and unpacking.
5. My baby shower is Saturday, which means we will have even MORE stuff to find a place for.
6. I might take off work Friday so I can finish getting boxes unpacked and stuff set up.
7. My best friend from FL is flying in Friday night and my cousins is flying in Saturday morning. They both leave on Sunday.
8. I'm going to my cousin's viewing tonight and I really hope I don't break down, so far I've been really good but once I see him laying there, I think I am going to lose it. He was only 27, he had so much more life to live.
9. It's nice and sunny outside today, I wish it was warm. It's spring, I want warm weather! NOW!
10. My blind dog seems to be doing REALLY well with the stairs in the new house, DH and I were worried about that, so I'm happy about that.

Taking maternity photos was surprisingly fun and I'm glad I did.
How can I desperately need a nap before 9am?
Feeling prepared for labor/birth, I'm in the "whatever happens will happen" mode. I'm actually kind of excited for it (I'm sure I'll regret this soon). I'm now freaking out about actually caring for a newborn. I feel like I know nothing about babies and will break him! I'm assuming this is a normal phase
1. My sister comes home from Alaska in two days! Then we visit our sister in WV in 6 days! I'm so excited! 2. I have a facial today, a hair appointment Thursday & a mani/pedi Friday. I'm treating my bestie & sister to mani/pedis too as a thank you. 3. My shower is on Saturday and my own mother has still not RSVP'd and when I texted her she never responded. She thinks the world revolves around her and she has shown like zero interest in my pregnancy, yet wonders why *I* never talk to her. So frustrating and disappointing. 4. I'm grateful to have an amazing MIL and stepmom who have really stepped up as mothers to me, since my own mom just isn't capable. 5. I've received a few gifts from people who are unable to attend my shower, and I'm incredibly grateful because I know they don't have to gift us anything. But at the same time I feel really guilty when I open it and it's clear they didn't check my registry because half the gift is duplicates of what I've already received, so I know I'll have to return or exchange half of their gift. Can anyone else relate to feeling guilt about having to return or exchange gifts? 6. My best friend, her husband & their adorable 11 mo old daughter are coming to stay with us this weekend for the shower. But since our house is tiny, they have to sleep on an air mattress in the nursery and their daughter is using the crib. It'll work out fine and all, but we have to move the dresser out to make room for the air mattress and readjust the crib so the mattress is lower for their daughter. I have some mild anxiety about the fact that our house is about to become so disorganized this weekend and I can't put it right back together after they leave because I'm leaving for a few days too. Regardless, I'm excited for them to come visit! 7. Navient finally accepted my student loan repayment plan after 2 months - but I still hate those a-holes! And this weekend I received my statement from a medical credit card that offers a 12 month interest free period if you can pay off the total balance within that time. I was trying really hard to get it paid off and thought I had one more month left before the offer expired, but I opened it this weekend and they slapped me with $945 in interest! I was so bummed because I really wanted to get it all paid off before baby comes, so I called them and explained that we have a baby on the way and I had been trying really hard to pay it off and if I made that final payment of $656 from before the interest, would they be able to settle with me and remove the interest? They did!! I am so relieved and it's a huge burden off my shoulders! We're getting closer to having our finances in order before the baby comes. 8. Except we still haven't filed our taxes. Whoops. I know I'll have to pay in because of my job, but I just keep putting off all the preparation paperwork I have to do before we take it all to the accountant. My husband really is pushing to get it done this week though. 9. Of course this weekend I posted in the weekend ticker change that I've been sleeping pretty good and Karma came to bite me in the ass. I have been super uncomfortable and huge feeling the past two nights. It hurts to roll over or adjust. And for some reason my lady bits get super sore during the night, without explanation, but I don't think it's lightening crotch. And it's fine when I get up for the day and get active. Wth. 10. I'm over work...and after last week completely kicked my ass I'm slacking pretty bad this week. I'm just not motivated to deal with my clients shenanigans or catch them violating their probation/court orders. I secretly can't wait til maternity leave for my coworkers to take over my clients and deal with their shit. I'm exhausted and need a break from them.

Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your legs?

@AdorkablePixie The movie wasn't edited very well. The plot was non-existant, and the fights weren't coordinated well at all. I did like Wonder Woman and the Easter Eggs though. Just a below average movie (in my opinion) - hopefully the rumours that it was just a set-up for all the other movies are true I really like Henry Cavill as Superman though and I think Ben Affleck has potential.

Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your legs?
I've been sleeping with a pillow between my legs since I was a teenager because I can't sleep with my bony knees touching. Unfortunately it's not helping with general pregnancy uncomfortableness.
1. I'm feeling good overall, but some of the discomforts (feet swelling, insomnia) just make me SO annoyed from time to time. 2. We go to Florida this weekend and I'm beyond ready for a break from work and housework! 3. I've been having more anxiety about my mom being so far away. She is such a help every time we talk, but I sometimes just let myself get worked up over it. The lack of sleep doesn't help this. 4. I am getting closer to my SIL (DH's brother's wife) throughout this pregnancy. She's the sweetest gal and I am happy to have her to talk to, and relate to, on things. 5. Tomorrow at work is going to be insane (8 different meetings between 7-5), so in advance of that I am going to work from home this afternoon with my legs propped up! 6. I slept about 2 hours last night, so I'm hoping my "work from home" idea isn't a total bust. I have so much to do! 7. We still need to pick a photographer. 8. I had a really nice birthday/Easter weekend - balanced a lot of relaxing with some good nesting/organizing. 9. I may be one of the few, but I would be fine with this baby staying put until past my due date - as late in May as possible! 10. I'm very happy it's spring! Loving seeing the trees and flowers starting to bloom!
1. I really want to deep clean our house this weekend. I mean every room including the storage area in the basement.
2. The weather this weekend is supposed to be super nice so I also want to have a garage sale after the deep clean.
3. My H has started the process of applying to one of his dream jobs. I really hope he gets it!
4. The humidifier leaked all day yesterday and warpped a 3ft by 2ft section of our recently refinished hardwoods. H's friend, who works in water damage repair, has a system rigged up to dry it out; so it could be as simple as it goes completely back to normal or we could need to rip out and replace the whole section. Though we won't know for at least a month. Least to say I had to talk my husband out of soaking the humidifier in gas and lighting it last night.
5. The only thing I plan on doing tonight is working on my book. I've got three other book ideas but need to finish this one first.
6. Coffee is wonderful.
7. Adults who are more dramatic than my middle schoolers frustrate me.
1. my in-laws a dropping off hand-me-down twin beds today! yay for free! 2. we are not ready to set the twins free out of their cribs, but someday... 3. The three of us are still battling colds...it's been at least a week now. enough of the boogers! 4. I'm feeling huge. at 31 weeks, I've gained more weight than I thought I would all pregnancy! 5. I still love the movements from LO. He/she is just starting a kick up by my ribs. 6. RCS is scheduled for May 9th with the top OB in my group - I got lucky! 7. Now I really hope I make it to the scheduled date! 8. I think I can pack my hospital bag soon because the clothes that fit me 1-2 months ago don't anymore! and those will fit me postpartum. 9. craving chocolate 24/7 these days. 10. the hand-me-down beds are here! Thank you pregnancy for giving me an out for helping with the lifting!!
Mama to Three Girls: Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!

This is the worst kind of pain! I thought I was doing OK yesterday and then about 20 minutes after getting into bed I couldn't take it any more. WTH is the deal with this pain?
1. I'm 35 weeks today! Crazy to think that baby boy will finally make his appearance in about a month. 2. We are putting the finishing touches on the nursery this week. I'll be so glad when that's done. 3. I'm hosting my sister's bridal shower this weekend. It's about a 3.5 hour drive away, so I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. 4. I should probably start thinking about packing my hospital bag and preparing for postpartum, but I've forbidden myself to go into labor until I'm back from my sister's shower (plus a few weeks, hopefully), so there's that. 5. I just realized we haven't even gathered paperwork for our taxes yet. Whoops. 6. Got the GBS test and a cervix check out of the way today. 7. I'm glad they did it a week early because next week I'm seeing the only male doctor in the practice. I know some of you ladies have male OBs and love them, but yeah, I'll pass on the man-hands doing cervix checks if I can. 8. I just ate 3 Reese's Easter eggs... They were the mini ones at least, so not so bad right? 9. The day is only half over, but I'm already looking forward to bedtime. 10. I get to see my BFF for the second weekend in a row this Saturday!
1. My H works 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. He goes back to work today, but I just realized he will only have one more two week stretch without baby if he is born on his due date. Crazy!
2. I am finally making headway catching up with work. I'm hoping by the end of next week I'll be all caught up and organized.
3. We are paying off our mortgage this week. I am SO excited. We've put a lot of discipline into this goal.
1. DH and I finally got to see Deadpool last night. It seemed like a pretty good movie, but the closed captioning device didn't work and all the others were out of commission, too. On the bright side, they have new devices coming in soon (they were apparently just shipped a day or so ago), so I got a free pass to come try them out again. The manager said the new ones were more like a tablet, which would be awesome because I hate the ones you stick into a cup holder and try to adjust...I can never get those to adjust to the perfect position.
2. We made calzones for dinner last night before the movie, but we had trouble with the dough. We finally ended up making one giant Frankencalzone instead of three smaller ones. It took too long to get the dough to cook and we didn't actually have time to eat it before the movie, so it just went straight from the oven to the fridge and we had nachos and candy for dinner at the theater.
3. Really regretted the nachos and candy this morning. Or, rather, I really regretted only having those. I should have had something with more nutrients that was also a bit more filling (like the calzone) because I felt really horrible when I woke up.
4. I'm getting really sick of orange juice every night to help with absorption of the iron supplements. Maybe I should just add in a vitamin c supplement or something? As long as I can get them as a gummy. I'm really bad with pills and the iron supplement is more than enough for me to deal with right now as is.
5. Baby shower is this weekend. I'm soooooo nervous. Like three people have actually RSVP'd though...I hope more people actually show up and haven't forgotten about it. I've been really looking forward to seeing some faces that I haven't seen in awhile!!
6. It's one thing if DH occasionally comes in to sleep with me (he works nights so even when he's off I usually sleep alone because he's awake), but if he doesn't quit bringing the cat in with him when he does I'm going to start locking our bedroom door and banish him to the guest room. Not even kidding here. The cat is sweet but wants to crawl all over me and sleep on my belly and just no.
7. I finally remembered a really good question to ask the board last night sometime around 3am last night but now I've forgotten it....
8. I think I'm gonna order more of those wrap dresses from Pink Blush...I love the material and the fit and I think they'd still fit me well post-partum.
9. I think my dog is sad because I can't run around and play with her like I used to. I can still throw a ball and all that, and she has a new buddy here to play with now everyday (we adopted MIL's dog after she passed away and they get along fantastically) but it's not the same as it used to be. I'm sad about it too. I can't wait until I've recovered post-partum so I can play with her some more again.
10. I'm down to the last month and a half of pregnancy. Holy shit. Is it time for me to freak out now? Cause I kinda feel like it is.
1. 41 days until my due date and only 27 are working days - that makes it sound so soon! 2. I have a feeling LO will come early but I have no real reason for thinking that. 3. I could NOT sleep last night... tossed and turned all night and felt like I had a living bowling ball strapped to my stomach. H got up at 4 and moved to the couch because I kept thrashing around. 4. My "surprise" work shower was yesterday afternoon and I felt so embarrassed that I kind of had to pretend to be surprised even though everyone knew I knew about the shower... acting is not my thing. 5. People got me actual gifts at the work shower, like baby clothes, books, a pack n play... I was so overwhelmed at the generosity. 6. I took my bridesmaids dress for my BFF's wedding to be hemmed last night and kind of resent having to buy a special maternity dress, then pay an additional $75 for alterations when there's literally a 0% chance of my ever wearing it again... bur I guess these are the kinds of things we do for friends. 7. Like @LadySamLadysaid, I'm super jealous of non-preggos who can start wearing cute spring clothes. I'm so sick of my maternity clothes and getting dressed in the morning, especially for work, is such a drag. But I'm sure as hell not buying a bunch of cute spring maternity clothes with just over a month to go. 8. The only major purchase we have left for baby boy is a car seat! I think it's time to pull the trigger and complete our list. 9. We still haven't hired for the open position on my team and I'm lighting a fire under everyone's butts because they're going to absolutely flip out if we don't have someone here when I go out on maternity leave. 10. Gotta run to the next interview - hope we like this candidate and can get moving!
1. Went to Babyfit class this morning and I think I pulled about 20 things in my pelvic area. I love going but it's getting pretty difficult to keep up. 2. My SILs and I are hosting a fiesta themed baby shower for another SIL in a few weeks. I would loooove to have a margarita but I'll indulge in queso instead. I also bought DD the cutest fiesta embroidered dress to wear. 3. I'm to the point where if I eat more than a small snack or very light meal, I feel absolutely horrendous. I swear my digestive tract has gone on strike. Maybe it's a good things since I've already gained as much as I did with DD and I still have 6-ish weeks left. 4. I am almost done packing my hospital bag. I tend to overpack because I like to have options so I have to reign myself in. 5. We are one picture away from finishing the nursery. My husband is drawing a wolf in black and white. I love that I can use him for all my art needs
thats it. I need to down some water and hope my vagina doesn't fall off from the workout this morning.
Just got back to work from my appointment that ended up taking longer than expected. Oops.
Baby is still head down. Stay that way please!
I've been given 'strict' orders to up my water intake bc the swelling in my feet. I already had a hard enough time getting the amount I needed before...
Birthing room preferences made, nitrous is paid for (in case I decide to use it), GSB test next appointment, got my packing list, and the one I wasn't expecting - the birth certificate/SS application. They said they like to have it pretty much done when we get there so that hopefully all that is needed is the name. I saw it though and it made things that much more real.
Meeting with our potential doula on Thursday and I'm kind of excited.
Got a bunch of clearance Easter candy yesterday. I have never ending jelly beans!
Bought the paint for the nursery yesterday and the floor is coming tomorrow. According to DH, he says he'll have the walls painted and the floor in by Sunday night. I like the optimism but I'm not holding my breath.
Work shower next Friday! I'm excited to see who decides to come - the cupcake hoarder from a few weeks ago will NOT be there bc they have a half day off that day, so more cake for me!
Got my completion discount coupon from Babies R Us today. Yay shopping!
I think my mom bought my car seat (or someone did - I just say my mom bc she did say she would buy it). DH is excited to get it bc he wants to install it in the car already. lol.
1. I thought about making a TW Tuesday, but I'm too lazy. 2. Currently sitting in triage AGAIN because the clinic closed and they said they didn't get good enough data on the NST. It's been on it for two hours.... I'm tired and hungry. Send me home. 3. Tried to buy a car yesterday, but we couldn't agree on a price-- ughh one more thing still on my to do list. 4. My coworker today told me he was disappointed he wasnt considered for my promoted position... I'm really sorry, but was it necessary for you to make me feel guilty? 5. I am very negative so I'm going to stop now. Sorry I suck today :-(
edited to to change he wasn't considered. It just didn't make sense
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Ummm... Number three! So proud of y'all! We were making significant progress, but now funneling to savings because we may move for DH dream job.
congratulations!!! I hope you have something terrific planned for such a big accomplishment!!
2. Honestly, I think I'm going to tell my dr that the 21st works better for me. The 22nd is my cousins birthday and lets just say, he is someone I would rather not ever share anything with.
3. I popped, and mean like, really popped. I thought last week was bad. NO. I feel like my ass and my belly fell out over night.
4. Spring cleaning went great last week. I only have my bedroom left, which is mainly going through old baby clothes, and I'm done with everything I wanted to be done with before baby arrives. Guess I should get that done.
5. My brother moved out last week and left me his two tarantulas. I already have one, I really don't need two more. The only good thing about them, is they're dirt cheap to feed. $1 a month is a pet cost I can handle.
6. Speaking of, we rehoused the tarantula yesterday (we had to put it in a container and then clean out the tank and put new bedding in). My almost 12 year old nearly passed out. It's her spider, and she can't even handle looking at it. I don't even understand why should bought the damn thing.
7. It has snowed all day. Spring is so bipolar.
8. My mom is finally coming around to me having a new baby. In fact, she bought baby a new bed since I don't have one.
9. The dh's mom, however, still has not talked to him since we told her. It's been almost 6 weeks.
10. My SIL had her baby yesterday, now it's my turn.
1. This past weekend my husband and I moved into my in-laws' house, as we look to buy a house. 2. I already want to stab myself. (That sounds bad – I am very grateful but it's very difficult to not be in my own space). 3. We are a little over halfway through Parenthood. I'm obsessed. 4. We are having our first baby shower this weekend. I'm so excited. 5. I became an aunt 2 weeks ago today 6. I have had a very weird feeling the entire time of pregnancy that I will have the baby at the end of April. (We'll see.) 7. Met with a pediatrician today. She was awesome. I'm so excited to get that knocked off the list. 8. We installed the carseat this weekend. Makes it a little bit more real....if it wasn't already. 9. I know it will be a lot of work and sleepless nights but I am so excited to go on maternity leave. 10. I wasn't impressed with Batman VS Superman.
Re: TTT 3/29
(Holy moly was that tiring!)
9. Weather is finally starting to stay warm.
10. Starting maternity leave in 6 weeks!
DS: Born 5-17-16
Anyways, here are my things:
2. DH and I both have the flu (not your flu - our flu - worse than a cold but better than Bronchitis)
@Jenly17 I feel the same way!! Where is my... everything. I had to go through two boxes yesterday to find my soap.
@vinerie I have a two door Honda civic I've been driving since I was 18 (so 11 years)! I love Hondas. What kind of car did you get to replace it?
@laurenmdrn16 Your #10 is precious.

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!1.

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!2.

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!2.
Ok I'm officially out of things.
@kbrands7 Your #7 is seriously cute!
Edit: warp not wrap.
2. we are not ready to set the twins free out of their cribs, but someday...
Mama to Three Girls:
Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor
and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
7. Like @LadySamLady said, I'm super jealous of non-preggos who can start wearing cute spring clothes.
Mama to Three Girls:
Twins born March 2014 at 26 weeks due to preterm labor
and our 37weeker born May 9th, 2016!
As for the car, we bought a Subaru CrossTrek.
DS: Born 5-17-16
@dsmith211 mmm, jelly beans and cake...
It just didn't make sense
congratulations!!!
2. I already want to stab myself. (That sounds bad – I am very grateful but it's very difficult to not be in my own space).
3. We are a little over halfway through Parenthood. I'm obsessed.
4. We are having our first baby shower this weekend. I'm so excited.
5. I became an aunt 2 weeks ago today
6. I have had a very weird feeling the entire time of pregnancy that I will have the baby at the end of April. (We'll see.)
