3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've made it farther than my losses. If all goes well at the scan this morning, it will be a huuuuuge relief!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT scan on Friday!  If I make it through that... it's a whole new pregnancy, officially farthest I've ever been!

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Getting pressure to announce from the moms (the only ones who know).  They just won't listen!  My mom blabbed to my aunt already.  How do I know?  My doctor/surgeon asked me if I had changed my mind about announcing this early.  After a resounding "no" from me, her response:  "well you had better remind your mom of that because your aunt (who is a surg tech) walked up to me last week to tell me the good news"  *sigh*

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower?  I love edelweiss!  Found in all my favorite places in the world

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I had a mini panic attack when I had some pink d/c on Saturday but everything has been fine since then. Also, not being able to find the hb on my Doppler is frustrating. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? I can't just choose one: Hydrangeas, Sunflowers, and Tulips, are gorgeous but Lilac's smell is my favorite.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Still feeling weird about that ultrasound boutique place my husband took me to, but I'm feeling completely secure about this pregnancy for the first time since my BFP. Between getting to 12 weeks and knowing that baby is dancing around in there, I think this might finally be my rainbow baby. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower?
Orange lilies. The only thing I knew I wanted when we started wedding planning was orange lilies. Everything else was built around that. Lol

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My next ob appointment is next Wednesday- we'll do a quick bedside u/s to check in after the spotting episode. 

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: the spotting has (knock on wood) finally stopped! Even though the u/s looked great, I was still so stressed out about it. Every cramp or random dampness has had me running for the bathroom to check. 

We told my half of the family yesterday. DH did the honors but it was vague and confusing- something about why I brought sparkling cider instead of wine. Everyone kind of stared at us until I just blurted out "DD is going to be a big sister!" Everyone was very excited for us, but it took a few moments lol. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? I've always loved spring flowers! Tulips, daffodils, lilacs, etc. It is on my bucket list to visit the tulip fields in the Netherlands. They are just so beautiful.

@lizzilou I haven't been able to find it either. Will they use one at your appt next week? Have them show you how they're finding it so you'll have an easier time at home.

No appt for me till the 14th. I should have asked about an NT scan last time I was there but I totally forgot.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? The NT scan! Still 10 days away due to a scheduling snafu. 

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I just this second got a call from the OB saying my glucose test came back normal. I wasn't really expecting a different answer, but...yay for positive results? 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? Peonies!! Our wedding fell in the very small window that they're in season, and we had peonies everywhere. I love them!

@krzyriverNext week's appointment will be with a doppler (though because of my history they may do an u/s as well). I know I have an anterior placenta which can make it more difficult to find and I'm way too nervous about pressing down too hard.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Telling my mom this weekend and making it out of the first trimester.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: The NT scan went really well on Friday, and we started telling our close friends. It's weird to actually feel excited about things for once. I'm trying to enjoy it as much as possible! 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? I always love impatiens. I had the perfect spot to plant them at my old house and they would grow into bushes.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 12w5d when we get to have our next ultrasound.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: So on the positive front, I have found the heartbeat with our at home doppler. It has relieved so much anxiety being able to listen to it whenever we want. On the oops front, I have been using Listerine mouthwash, and this past weekend it dawned on me that there is alcohol in it. That started a crazy amount of googling, and I have switched to Crest Pro Health which is alcohol free. I really hope everything is okay in there...I didn't even think of mouthwash being alcoholic since it isn't a beverage.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? Roses, cherry blossoms, tulips, baby's breath. Flowers around this time of year are so gorgeous!!

1. How far along are you? 10+2

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT scan next week at 11+3. If all goes well, do you think that's too early to announce on FB?

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm really starting to settle in and get excited which kind of scares me. I don't want to get too comfortable and then be blindsided but it's nice to let go of the worry. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? I love lilies and lilacs. I had neither at my wedding because it was late fall.

Good luck to all the upcoming NT scans. I'm just counting down the days until I can see peanut again. I have my next OB appt 2 weeks after that so I'm hoping for the dopplar.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 12 week ultrasound TODAY! I am thinking this might also be the nuchal scan, but I'm not sure. My OB sends patients to MFM for ultrasounds, so I have to ask them about all this stuff.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Probably my next appointment and feeling this little baby moving. I felt my DD around 14 weeks just tiny flutters but really strong for sure movement at 16 weeks.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?  My appt. with high-risk OB on 4/6.  Will get another ultrasound, and talk about placement of cervical cerclage.  

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:  I miss my energy.  Hoping it will be back soon.  Also, all I feel like we have are bills, bills, and more bills.  My DH has many health issues and his medical debt is really starting to add up.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower?  Lilacs.  I love how you can smell Lilacs blowing in the breeze, even if the bush/tree is out of sight.  The wind carries the beautiful scent.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This past week when I finally got to see my baby was incredibly. They were moving around and everything.

1. How far along are you? I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow (always hopeful).

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Tomorrow! I have a hospital visit for an ultrasound, regulation of my thyroid meds and then my OB afterwards so it's a big baby day. Fingers crossed for a healthy baby and a heartbeat. 

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: TMI: I think I have a yeast infection (this is where the eyeroll emoji would come in handy). So I did Monistat 3 but it doesn't seem to have worked so now I'm wondering if it's even that. Thank goodness I'm going to the OB tomorrow. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? Peonies! They make me happy. But tulips come in a close second.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: All of a sudden, I've become so anxious that maybe we have lost the baby and it's just a missed miscarriage. I know it's very unlikely, and that most likely I would be bleeding, but I've read a couple posts on here from girls that didn't know, and now I'm freaking out. I had my hubby listen for a heartbeat with a doppler from the hospital, and he couldn't find anything. He says that's totally normal, and that in the ER, the nurses can't find the heartbeat a lot of times, even up to 14 or 15 weeks. But I'm paranoid anyway. And now that we announced yesterday, I think it's just fear that I'll have to "unring the bell" so to speak.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?  Hitting double digits on Friday.  One step at a time.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:  Still feeling pretty good after the ultrasound Friday.  DH cracked and told his sister this weekend, and we decided to tell our parents yesterday, so we're starting to slowly share the news.  It still feels super early but I also feel like 12 weeks is in sight.  Now that we've had a good dating ultrasound it's time to get the nuchal scheduled.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower?  I really like peonies and calla lilies.

@mrszoess - I feel you on the less than ideal Monday.  It's raining here too and I was EXHAUSTED this morning.  FX it picks up for you!

@anna.oskar - I'm sorry the moms are spilling your news!  Hopefully you'll feel comfortable sharing widely soon.

@krzyriver - I'm sorry that the commercial ultrasound experience was kind of weird but it sounds like the secure feeling it brought you is worth it!

@kmalls - I wish my doctor would call me for normal test results!  I never got a call back from my initial bloodwork/urine samples but I got most of my test results emailed to me and they all looked to be within normal ranges, so I'm just assuming everything is okay, but it would have been nice to have the doctor confirm that.

@depineta - Hooray for getting to feel excited!

@Pupatella - Hooray for a heartbeat!  I wouldn't worry too much about the mouthwash unless you've actually been drinking it.

@MRSCORKER - I think you can publicly announce whenever you feel comfortable.  The 12 week mark is more of a guideline than a hard stop, and I think if you've got a good nuchal scan and you've told the people you want to tell personally at 11 + 3, there's very little that would happen in the next four days that would affect the propriety of a Facebook announcement.  I say go for it!

@AllytheKid - Math-wise the second tri isn't until 13.33 weeks but I think the 12+/24+ marks are close enough to count.  :-)  It does make for a weirdly short first tri (since you usually don't know until week 4 anyway) and a crazy long third tri though counting that way.  .  .

@2015dee - FX for a great ultrasound!

@ejmo68 - Hope the stretching pains don't give you too much trouble!

@TheMillerHighLife - I've been exhausted too.  FX we both get more energy!

Thanks @simcal18. We told our parents right away because I felt like I needed the support no matter the outcome. Then we shared with close friends and the rest of our family after our scan last week at 9+3. Everyone who should find out personally, knows. I think my hesitation with sharing on FB at 11+3 is the fear of a late 1st tri loss. PGAL brain is makine me second guess myself. I sometimes feel resentful of the mamas who share at 8/9 weeks without a care in the world. I have that "must be nice" mentality. I'm glad they're care free, just wish all of us could be too.

Had my early glucose 2 hr this morning.  Not nearly as terrible as some people have led me to believe it was going to be.  Yay for good results!  I'm nervous but only because with my luck I'll be on of the 24% ish with unclear results

@ByeBabyBunting Definitely not too early for the doppler!! Give it a try!! I tried at 8w5d and heard it. It takes a lot of patience, and a lot of waiting. I hear it for about 5 seconds, and then the baby moves and I hear nothing. A few minutes later it'll come back and I'll hear it for a few more seconds. I also watched a few youtube videos before trying, so I knew how low to place the doppler and what to listen for. Good luck and I hope you hear it!!!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We told just about everyone that's family by this point, i don't think we will be making a facebook announcement just yet. We lost our last baby at 14 weeks, we had just told everyone and not even a week later we had our loss, so i'm just trying to get through this week without a major emotional breakdown. Also, we were due March 31st, so this week just sucks all around. 

Good stuff: We had our NT scan with the perinatologist this past Friday and everything looks great/perfect, so i'm trying to ride that wave through this week. We got some pretty cool pictures too!

Just wanted to update. NT scan today went well. We have a mover and a shaker! Dr had no concerns, so we opted to do sequential screening, rather than Materniti21 or the like. It was a relief to see baby!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Where are my freaking test results? Grr. I don't even know if they will just appear on the Patient Portal or if I should be waiting for a call or what. Also I'm so tired. I'm so tired and I can't sleep. 

4. GTKY: What's your favorite flower? Stargazer Lilies - but the smell is a bit much. Smell-wise, roses (although my husband does not like the smell of roses and this makes me sad.)

2. I'm in a pretty great mood lately so everything fees exciting, but as far as major milestones I can't wait to feel the baby fluttering (even though it's likely a ways off), and I can't wait to see his perfect face at our 18w u/s!

3. We've told almost everyone we want to tell personally and it's just wonderful to experience all the love and excitement and good wishes. (Probably waiting on FB for a while longer.) Incredibly grateful for the ways this pregnancy has deepened our faith, and hoping everyone can feel that sense of peace and trust in the bigger plan that I feel like we've been graced with lately. 4. I love so many flowers, even though I manage to kill cacti! Pansies, violets, summertime honeysuckle and moonflowers, funky fun spider mums, exotic orchids with their little faces...I really wish I had a green thumb!

Results are in:  Terrible.  Thyroid while not outside of the limits, apparently very low compared to my normal.  And I bombed the 2 hours gestational glucose tolerance test.  Bombed.  As in, my fasting level was way too high before the glucola.  *sigh*  This is gonna suck.  The only foods that I can eat right now without vomiting... definitely not on the diabetes diet I'm sure.
