GTKY: how's the great name debate going? Have you picked one? Are you worried you will never decide? Any name drama? You don't have to share the name if you don't want to of course.

No appointment until 28 weeks, just working on crafts and the nursery and trying to keep sane!

I'm going to pick up my husband tonight so I'm excited to see him, but it's a two hour drive either way so I need to pack snacks. My brother is supposed to drive down with me so we can visit family that live down there but he is notorious for bailing at the last minute which is really going to grind my gears so let's just hope he doesnt. Heartburn continues, sleep is shit, and being sore after even mild physical activity is obnoxious. But the kicks are getting pretty crazy which I love, though I seriously don't know how people continue to get things done, I just want to stare at my belly all day and watch him squirming.

We're fairly set on a name but it's not completely settled yet, we've been trying it out to see how it feels.
Any baby stuff going on this week?: Tomorrow we're hosting Easter brunch and I know everyone will peek at his nursery as its done. We shared his name last week only because of this fact (his name is spelled on the wall in block letters). Otherwise no appointments..I have my glucose test coming up... Oh and baby shower invites went out this week which is exciting and makes me want to stalk my registries.
Rants/raves/symptoms?: I got to park in the expectant mother front row parking at New Season's today and was THRILLED. I didn't know they even had that. More places should, waddling across a lot sucks. Bad hip pain while sleeping is my biggest bitch right now and no pillow situation seems to help. I am happy that I have been maintaining a good weight and I'm on the lower end of gaining. I was really worried because I am overweight to start with and was pretty anxious.
GTKY: how's the great name debate going? Have you picked one? Are you worried you will never decide? Any name drama?: Yes we have one picked. We had names picked before even getting pregnant because it took so long and that's all we could talk about. His name is Elliott and it's already being misspelled. Sorry little dude! The name is an homage to our dead moms so people have been super excited about it, even if they secretly may hate the name. Works for me!
23 weeks!! Comparison is a grapefruit!?... LOL

My midwife appointment was postponed last week so I'm excited for it this week since I'll get all the 20 week ultrasound information.
Rants/raves/symptoms?
I feel like I "popped" again, and I'm starting to look more pregnant... Or I'm getting better a dressing my bump and showing it off ha-ha! I feel more preggo to if that counts for anything. Hip pain, it constantly pops in and out depending what I've been doing. It's manageable so far but I know it's not going to get better! So hungry sometimes...I just feel like I can't fill up! Trying to keep my food intake healthy-ish if I can.

At this point we're still team green, undecided if we want to find out or not yet. At the ultrasound the tech saw the gender and put it in the file so if I want to know I can just ask my midwife. Picking a name is way harder than I thought! We have a boys name we both like but are completely stumped on a girls name lol
Edited because only half my comment posted?!
Painting the nursery tomorrow!!!!
I just took the glucose test on Thirsday and passed but got some funky white blood cell results. Will follow up with my doc on Monday. I'm mostly good symptom-wise but get annoyed at peeing while sneezing. Also I wish my husband could feel baby kicks from the outside! I love feeling them!!!!
we have some top fav names. My favorite name is in the top 20 which may be too popular for my taste. My husband said it shouldn't matter, we should go with the name we like but as a Jennifer born in '85, it got annoying that there were tons of Jens around.
22 weeks papaya/spaghetti squash/ear of corn/Guinea pig/water bottle times two for twins . So many weird things this week.

Love feeling these guys move around. Feeling pretty good nausea-wise, mostly just tired.

We have a couple options picked out but nothing is set in stone yet.
25 weeks. Cauliflower.

Appointment on Monday. Hopefully getting a note writing me out of work for September since my district decided to deny part of my maternity leave.

Love feeling all the kicks. Hate not being able to sleep in a comfortable position.

Max Robert. No drama. It's the name we've had picked out for a boy for quite a while. We told everyone matter of factly and no one has given us any negative opinions so far
Symptoms = back pain, pressure in pelvis. No rants.
Name = team green, so we have two. We love them both!!
A/s on Tues. (Team green)
Just some lower back pain mostly when I'm in bed. I've started seeing a chiropractor and it's amazing though. DH is getting to feel baby move now. I'm a little sad that both of us just can't be as excited as we were last time with DD though. I remember feeling my belly constantly and DH would too. We've already done it once before though and the new kid's already getting less attention.
Boy's name was picked last time. Girl's name is 90% definite at this point. We don't tell anyone because I don't want to hear people's opinions. We like more traditional names though, so it wouldn't necessarily be a problem except for the "I knew a real jerk with that name"... One friend already volunteered a list of names not to use because of her bad associations with them. One of them was our boy name. Anyway, DH and I are pretty easy to agree. DH only really cares if he hates a name. If it sounds reasonable he just gives me the okay basically.
One of my baby showers (doing two for different geographical locations) is this coming Saturday. I'm getting excited!
My body hurts. Back pain and the feeling that my middle is just crammed. I know this only gets worse!
We have the name. We've heard some feedback from our parents but I couldn't care less, so there's no drama.

Not really. I need to make an appointment for my GD testing but I've been putting it off. We see our OB again April 7th so I should get on it so the results are in when we see him, but I have no energy for extra running around.
Rants/raves/symptoms?
Back pain galore. I already had a bad lower back from a previous injury that didn't heal quite right and being off balance and the strain on my back isn't helping. I'm making a conscious effort to readjust my posture when I'm standing but it hasn't helped. Acid reflux is popping up more often too now. I was so miserable last night trying to sleep. Between the sore back not letting me get comfortable and the acid reflux making me want to throw up I just wanted to cry. I keep telling my husband he's carrying the next baby.

We had agreed on one and were heavily leaning towards it but were still keeping it quiet when MIL shared it on FB. So back to the drawing board. We have a short list now but we're still a long ways away from picking one.
Nothing exciting going on here.
Headaches, sciatica, and RLP have been insane. So miserable.
Name, Russell Albert, is already picked and announced. Lots of drama from all sides because no one likes the name. Zero fucks given.

@jennyleigh16 Does she realize this upset you or that you are changing the name? So sorry that happened. Don't understand why other people think they get to make announcements on behalf of their loved ones.
Possibly? My H thinks she has no idea she's done anything wrong and is simply excited. I think she's a manipulative bitch who did it intentionally to have the attention on her. She also has a tendency to comment "the REAL grandmother" on posts that my H's stepmom has commented on. I think this was her way of saying "see?? I'm the real grandmother, I knew something you didn't". It's a point of contention for H and I. It's all over on Twatwaffle Tuesday I think. I'm aware, H needs to stand up to her. I'm waiting to see if she posts the name again and I'm going to comment that it isn't his name and to please stop posting it on facebook. I'll likely be considered the devil, but frankly I've run out of shits to give. She's coming to visit in April and I might say something then if the opportunity presents itself. I sense this is the first of many battles I'll have with her over this baby, but I'm his mother and she can hate me if that helps her sleep at night. She can suck it.
