TTC After a Loss

Intro - returning longtime TTCAL member

Hello everyone!

I'm Lindsey, and after a long bump break I am returning to TTCAL. I am 29 and H is almost 32. We've been trying for our rainbow for nearly 5 years. Along the way we've had 3 first-tri losses, failed IUI cycles, and all the while have seeming "normal" results from all of our testing. After feeling like my RE wasn't really invested in us, we switched for a second opinion a couple months ago. That team of REs were hopeful and positive about our chances. We are now awaiting my cycle to begin in May to begin our first IVF round. As we all unfortunately know, TTCAL can put us in a weird headspace, and the last year and half I have been working on becoming a better me. I had to step away from the process for my own mental health. I'm feeling much better, as is H. So not only are we excited to be moving forward, but I'm also excited to be coming back to this community to reconnect, make new connections, and help support the other amazingly brave and strong women of this TTCAL world. Thanks for having me back!

I'm very sorry for your losses but welcome back, the women on this board are wonderfully helpful and supportive. How frustrating to not be able to get any clear answers from testing. I am glad you at least found a clinic that treats you better.

Also, I love the quote in your sig.
