Week: 8

What's new with baby (size, development): Raspberry! Tail is gone, taste buds are forming. 

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: I bought some books for my daughter's Easter basket about babies. 

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Rant that I have had a horrible sinus infection, and I've been up coughing at night for 2 weeks! 

When is your next appointment: On Tuesday we have our 2nd u/s

GTKY: What's your favorite and least favorite Easter candy? Favorite is Cadbury Mini Eggs, least favorite is Peeps or Jelly Beans. I'm all about the chocolate!

Week: 8!

What's new with baby (size, development): they are the size of a 2x2 piece of Lego and have hands!

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing much

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Repeat ultrasound on Monday...I'm excited to see the beans again! Hopefully the SCH is resolving.

When is your next appointment: US Monday, family MD a week from Monday, OB on Apr 14

GTKY: What's your favorite and least favorite Easter candy? Favourite are mini eggs and Reese's eggs. Least fave is cream eggs (DH loves them)

raspberry- eyes getting pigment, tail gone, beginning gender organs forming! 

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: just took a temporary LOA due to 24/7 extreme nausea

What's new with baby (size, development): sweet pea

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: not a ton. Scanning the used stuff sites for really good deals...but I want *really* good deals right now. 

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: feel vaguely "off" but nothing I can absolutely put my finger on. I do pee pretty much constantly...

When is your next appointment: 1st ultrasound Tuesday!  Can't wait to see everything going well. 

GTKY: What's your favorite and least favorite Easter candy? best are mini eggs..need to go buy a bag. Least favourite are creme eggs. Too sweet for me.

What's new with baby (size, development): blueberry or raspberry 

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: nothing this week

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: we saw the heartbeat today! Everything looks great with baby. I do have a large ovarian cyst that my RE wants to see again next week. 

When is your next appointment: next week. 

GTKY: What's your favorite and least favorite Easter candy? Fave: Cadbury eggs! I know ppl hate/love. I love. Least fave: those malted chocolate eggs. Yuck

Week: 5

What's new with baby (size, development): We have a heartbeat! (So I read.)

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby:  A purposeful nothing until our 8 week ultrasound. 

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Equal parts happy and concerned to have mild symptoms so far. A tiny bit of nausea, some heartburn, and definitely noticing a difference when I work out. A thing that is NOT mild is my chest. Holy OW.

When is your next appointment: THREE WEEKS. ugh. This is hard. First pregnancy.

GTKY: What's your favorite and least favorite Easter candy? I love Creme Eggs and can't handle Peeps. Ew, typing it actually made me gag a little. 

PS, I don't want to use a ticker until 8 weeks either, hope I can still play here

What's new with baby (size, development): 
Baby is the size of a raspberry! I read that we might be able to see the baby moving on an ultra sound. That's pretty cool. 

What's something new you are doing to get ready for baby: 
Still not a whole lot. I really want to get past 9 weeks before we really start planning and getting excited. One more week to go and I can relax a teensy bit
more! 

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Im an elementary school teacher and today was my first day of spring break. I fell asleep on the couch last night at 6. Moved to bed around 10. Slept until 7:30 this morning and then took an hour and a half nap this afternoon. I think I'm starting to understand what this exhaustion symptom is about... 

When is your next appointment:
April 19.

well right now I LOVE the jolly rancher berry jelly beans. Yum!

Literally nothing, I want to wait a bit to start doing anything.

This morning I woke up with THE worst migraine and nausea, and I've tried throwing up twice today and nothing..
