Sting rays/manta rays. I got to swim with them on our honeymoon.
I'm trying to post an awesome video of them flying out of the water, but I can't. It's their mating dance!

R/R/CS: My temp plummeted this morning, I didn't bother to test. This is the beginning of the end of this cycle. Everything was perfect and my body is still just like, nope! How I feel about this whole process:
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? Sea otters! They are so darn cute. Looking for gifs of them made me feel slightly better.

R/R/CS: ...but my temp went up again, so who knows. It's still kind of early as I normally have a 12-day LP.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? I'm going to be boring and say golden retrievers, my puppy! I would post a recent pic but it would be huge from mobile.

Testing: No more, BFN yesterday and huge temp drop today. Hoping AF holds off a little, I don't want my LP getting shorter...
R/R/CS: At least it's Friday, I guess?Getting a new foster dog today, so that should be a fun distraction!
I am super excited my body acted like it was supposed to for the first time in over a year, trying to just be happy about that!
GTKY: What's your favorite animal?
Um. English Setter, obviously!
sldp123 I'm sorry for the temp drop and how hard this cycle is for you.
pretzel2plus1 Sorry for the BFN. FX for you. It's still early.
houseofsetters Temp drops suck. I'm sorry. I'm sure having a new foster dog come in will be a blast though. And I'm glad your body did what it's supposed to this cycle. It's a step in the right direction.

@sldp123 Sorry for the temp drop.
@pretzel2plus1 Sorry for the BFN! But yay for the temp spike. Still good signs!!

Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 28/10
Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1, 0
Testing: Yesterday and today. BFN.
R/R/CS: Feeling out in a big way after this mornings BFN on an FRER. I'm kind of glad I got a reality check because I was feeling way too confident in this cycle for multiple reasons, and now I have time to come to terms with the fact that this probably isn't our month, and that's ok! I have been thinking about the good things, like I won't have an issue with being in my SILs wedding, which is December 9th. I also have a three day weekend and I slept in until 8 today! I honestly can't remember the last time I did that. And I plan on reading a paperback, which I haven't done in so long! And finally despite most of the bad news, my temp is still elevated and I have a 14 day LP, so I'm holding out the tiniest bit of hope.

DH also did the sweetest thing this morning. He read an article connecting caffeine intake by men to reduced chances of conception and announces he will quit drinking coffee. Love that man ha

Testing: Just started today, but it's still early.
R/R/CS: I'm kind of shocked by how easy it is for ICs to have evap and indent lines. I got a pretty thick squinty line this morning that drove me insane but it's kind of color-less, so I can only assume it's either evap or indent. I trashed it because I didn't want to be all BSC taking photos and tweaking the hell out of something when I can just... you know, re-test in a few days and not have wasted my time being insane, right.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? Sharks or corgis.
@pretzel2plus1 Sorry about the BFN! Still early though.....
@aliciabhen sorry for the BFN! yay for 3 day weekends!
@beary67 I feel you on the mini donkeys....so cute.
@sugargirl1019 so sorry about your BFN... Jealous of your Sting Ray experience though.. That's on my bucket list!
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 21/10
Timing: -3, -2, -1
Testing: 3/31, if I can hold out!
R/R/CS: Ok....so as I said yesterday...this wait is THE WORST. I almost tested this morning because last night, we had tuna salad as a light dinner (which I normally love) and the smell of it was so disgusting to me, I had to choke it down.THEN...in the middle of the night I got up because I had to pee so terribly bad (again, not normal for me, I have a bladder of steel) and when I did I was instantly lightheaded and dizzy...so much so that I had to hold on to the wall to make it to the bathroom. This morning, I was early leaving my house, so I thought, oh I'll stop and get some bacon and pancakes from DQ...because....Friday... and the smell coming from the bag was bothering me so much, I could not eat them.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? I love all animals... My favorite domestic animal is a Pug, and my favorite non domestic animal is the Giraffe!

R/R/CS: Totally not bump related, but I am feeling very thankful this morning. I woke up at 2 in the morning and thought I smelled something but tried to go back to sleep. DD was fussing so I went in to calm her down and as soon as I opened our door the smell of natural gas nearly knocked me over. My husband must have bumped into the stove knob in the dark when he went to get water a few hours earlier. Thankfully we all got out and were able to open all the windows to air things out. It was also a mild night so we weren't freezing to death. We spent an hour in the car with DD and two dogs which was fun:/
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? Dogs of course! We have two:)

Testing: April 1st I'll test. Normally id wait for AF but we leave for NYC and i feel like i need to know before.
R/R/CS: never ever been one to think "oh this symptom could it mean pregnancy?" nope. Never. But this has turned me into some kind of crazy person i feel like. Example...I'm a nurse and as every nurse knows we feel like we have abnormally large bladders. Its amazing the capacity it can hold. Anyway the past couple days/nights ive been going much more frequently. Like waking up to go. Not like me AT ALL. So the crazy baby making side of me is like "you are pregnant woo hoo" while the rational side of me is like "it's probably that 3 glasses of crystal light you had before bed." and my cat...who out of nowhere is glued to me. Literally. I cant even make my 20 frequent trips to pee without him. Crazy baby side of me is all "he knows I'm pregnant." rational side is "he wants food". And I'm only 5 DPO Don't judge me :-)
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? I love animals in general. It's hard to pick a favorite. Anything that isn't creepy crawly or any reptiles (yuck).
Month/Cycle: I have been saying 6/4 since that is how long I've been temping and have had a good grasp on our timing, but my Dr. pretty much told me to stop lying to myself yesterday lol. So here it is... 10/8 ugh. I've been trying to make myself feel better by saying 6/4 but when I look back at my charts based on my average LF we actually still had great timing during the months I wasn't temping.
CD/DPO: 38/ 7ish
Timing: -5 1 0
Testing: Dr. drew blood yesterday and said she would test for pregnancy just because I was so far along in my cycle, but other than that I won't test till AF is late.
R/R/CS: I had an appointment with my OBGYN yesterday and it's really got me bummed out. She diagnosed me with PCOS. In the back of my mind I knew that's what was going on, but it still sucked to hear. Once my next cycle starts she is going to start my testing (baseline ultra sound, HSG, pelvic x-ray, SA for hubs) Once all that is completed I will be around the 12 month mark and she can then bring in the RE in her practice. I know a lot of you other ladies are dealing with similar issues here so I'm not alone, but I'm feeling so defeated right now!

Testing: Sunday. I will fess up that I tested this morning because I had a couple drinks last night and I just wanted to make myself feel better about that decision. Even though I know it's WAY too early, that stark white still hit me pretty hard.
R/R/CS: I've been BSC all week and I think I'm finally accepting that I had some unrealistic expectations. Just because I'm like clockwork does not mean it will happen the first month, especially at 33, almost 34. It feels good to accept that and take a bit of a sigh of relief.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? I love all animals but I've always had a thing for monkeys since I was a little girl. They fascinate me.
CD/DPO: 22/5
Timing: -2, IUI, +1
Testing: Testing daily.
R/R/CS: I have been feeling really good recently but have also been working to eat some sort of breakfast and trying to eat lunch too.
I don't do much checking of my CM usually as it just seems tedious with out a lot of payout...but just yesterday >>>>>TMI<<<<<<< my CM left a white stripe in my underwear and I thought that was pretty strange. Does anyone pay attention to CM know what that means?
Also I have gotten super constipated...which is odd after having my 50 times a day bathroom trips while taking Metformin. And I got super dizzy last night when getting into bed.

R/R/CS: I seriously cannot believe I managed to not test this morning. It's a freaking miracle. I woke up at 3:30 to temp, as usual. And I really had to pee, so I basically ran to the toilet before I had a chance to dig up a test.
Temps are high, but still kind of following my average, so trying not to get too excited/anxious. But who am I kidding.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal?
I love animals. I have a lot of favorites. But I really love deer. I live in the PNW, and I see deer several times a week, and have for my whole life. It's still feels super magical every time I see one.

MamaMunn Has your Dr put you on Meteformin with the PCOS diagnosis? I have been on it for ages now but it along with fermera or letrozole has made some beasts of follies for me and a O trigger has got me on clockwork Oing. Hopefully the diagnosis will get you the help to get you KU'd quicker. I am sorry about the frustration though..but hopefully with knowing what might be getting in the way of things you can get the ship righted and be on your way to baby land.
HurricaneAmelia So glad your all safe and sound!

@sldp123 I'm so sorry for the temp drop! I know how frustrating that is.
@pretzel2plus1 I'm sorry for the BFN. You're not out until AF!
@nwegman7878 That second gif is one of my favorites! It puts a smile on my face every time!
@houseofsetters Sorry for the BFN and temp drop. That's awesome about getting a new foster dog, though!
@aliciabhen Sorry for the BFNs. 10dpo is still early though. Yay for three-day weekeends and sleeping in!
@beary67 That's awesome that you ovulated earlier this month. It's amazing what acupuncture can do. Just another reason I'd like to start going.
@heatho620 That's sweet of your husband to give up caffeine!
@canavara Indents and evap lines are the worst! It's still early so FX!
@thj101 You have a lot more patience than I would! I almost tested today and I'm only 8dpo.
@juliebeannn So sorry for the BFN especially since your temp has stayed high. I know how disappointing that is. On another note, those polar bear cubs are freaking adorable!
@HurricaneAmelia I'm glad that everything turned out OK. That's scary!
@karliq88 I'm right there with you on the symptom spotting. I read into every urge and twinge. It drives me BSC!
@mamamunn I'm so sorry about the PCOS diagnosis. I'm glad that you're going to be getting testing done soon. Getting all the tests out of the way made me feel like I was finally taking charge in this whole process. *Hugs*

R/R/CS: So I am not temping this month for a few personal reasons. Mainly just to lower stress and obsession this cycle. I have a regular cycle with predictable CM- I know its not 100% accurate but it is worth it for me since this cycle has been so much more chill for both DH and I. This TWW is still making me a little crazy but not nearly as much as normal

GTKY: What's your favorite animal?
Oh man, I love raccoons. They're super smart and look like catbears with hands. They also fall into the category of animals that are naturally stylin' with their mask and stripe combo. Bonus, their handwashing abilities would get claps from any healthcare professional. Also one time I saw a racoon eating a slice of pizza on a dumpster, and she literally was holding it by the crust with the point facing her like a person.

R/R/CS: Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck on my Drs appt yesterday. She went so fast with everything, I was able to mentioned we were TTC, but she didn't ask how long or anything like that, just made sure I was taking PNV. Throughout the conversation, she kept saying ' if you happen to fall pregnant...blah blah blah ' She said it at least 10 times, I wanted to yell and say " you don't just Fall pregnant lady! " I may have to go for a follow up appt, so hopefully I can talk to her a little more about it than. She also mentioned I need to count back 14 days from my expected period and that is when I will O? Also, yay for a long weekend!
GTKY: I love Elephants! Definitely one of my favorite animals.

@Sugargirl1019 sorry for the BFN, it’s still super early for you though so you’re definitely still in this!
@pretzel2plus1 sorry for the BFN, but a temp increase is always good, you’re still in this, too!
@nwegman7878 my son is obsessed with red pandas! Every time we go to the zoo that’s the first thing he wants to see.
@houseofsetters Sorry for the temp drop, but I’m glad you can still be excited that your body did what it was supposed to do. Hoping AF holds off for me for a little, too. I want to get back to my normal 12 day LP.
@aliciabhen sorry for the BFN. It’s still early though, so I still have fx for you!
@beary67 glad to see you in TWW in a timely fashion, haha. That is awesome that acupuncture was able to help you. I’m really considering it for next cycle.
@Heatho620 I saw that article, too, and sent it to DH. He replied that he only drinks one cup of coffee a day, but he will have to cut out the Diet Dew. That study was a super small sample size and there is a lot more research to be done, but it’s nice to know your partner is in this with you.
@canavara fx for a darker line!
@thj101 you must have some crazy willpower, haha. FX for you!
@juliebeannn sorry for the BFN. That baby polar bear is adorable!
@HurricaneAmelia so glad you and your family are safe!
@KarliQ88 I don’t count the day of O, so today I am 29/9 meaning I O’d on day 20 and it’s 9 days after that.
@MamaMunn sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but hopefully now you can get some testing and a plan in place. I always feel better with a plan.
@AMGreely BFNs suck no matter what, but you are definitely still in the game at this point.
@Lecool fx for your testing tomorrow!
@TheRealVeronicaSawyer enjoy your break!
@jmr1515 welcome back! Glad that you are feeling more relaxed this month.
@TheJerilu love that raccoon gif! Enjoy your day off with your partner and your pup!
@PepperAT my OB gave me the same “advice” about counting 14 days from my expected period, I just ignored it, because thanks to charting I know that’s not how I work, haha.
Married: July 2015
BFP: 5/20/16 | EDD: 1/28/17 | Twin boys born 1/16/17
@pepperat glad your temps are looking good!
@thejerilu Awesome! Enjoy your relaxing weekend! Three day weekends are the best.
@jmr1515 I hear you on the stressful part of temping! Good for you for deciding to take a break. Glad you are feeling less stressed.
@therealveronicasawyer Yay, enjoy your spring break! Sleeping in is the best. My spring break isn't for another two weeks unfortunately, but I'm happy about the three day weekend at least!
@lecool Way to go not temping! Once you test it's impossible to stop!
@Becauselove I went with Need by Joelle Charbonneau. It's a YA dystopian!
@AMGreely sorry about the BFN. They hurt no matter when you get them!
@MamaMunn sorry to hear about your DX. Happy to hear you have a really solid plan to move forward though. Creepy internet hugs your way.
@KarliQ88 I know what you mean with the SS thing. It is so tough. I do the same thing when I have to use the bathroom a lot because as a teacher I have a bladder of steel too!
@juliebeannn sorry about the BFN. Those darn charts! Mine has been telling me it looks triphasic for the last three days. Talk about getting a girls hopes up.
@hurricaneamelia Glad to hear everything turned up alright!!
@thj101 way to hold off on taking a test! It's so tough.
@canavara evaps are the worst! Sorry to hear you got one so easily.
@heatho620 aww! Sweet DH moment.
@teamginger13 glad to hear the IUI was a good one!
@sldp123 thank you for still having hope for me! I am trying to still have hope too. I should have used a cheapie instead of an FRER, I think that's what made it feel a little more 'final'. Even though I know that is still kind of silly!
Married: November 2015
TTC#1: January 2016
BFP: 5/02/16 - MC: 5/27/16
@sldp123 Sorry about the temp drop
@pretzel2plus1 Sorry about the BFN, but fx with your temp rise!
@nwegman7878 Your timing still blows my mind. That red panda gif made my day!
@houseofsetters Sorry about the temp drop
@aliciabhen Sorry about the BFN
@beary67 Yay for earlier O! I keep hearing about good benefits of acupuncture. It is starting to be really tempting. I don't know if I've ever seen a mini donkey before, they are so cute! Our zoo has mini ponies, they clearly also need a mini donkey.
@Heatho620 I've read that CM before AF isn't very indicative of anything. I pretty much only have creamy CM between O and AF, except for right before. That is so sweet your DH said that! Especially if he's a big coffee drinker, I just gave up caffeine for the most part and it is no picnic.
@canavara Sorry about the possible evap/indent, but it sounds like you had a good reaction to it. Fx for your testing in a few days!
@thj101 Sorry you've been feeling off. The TWW really does suck. Not sure if this would be helpful for you, but when I start symptom-spotting, it helps to remind myself that if the symptoms were from pregnancy, I would be able to turn a test.
@juliebeannn Sorry about the BFN
@HurricaneAmelia I'm so glad you all were able to get out and air the house out! That sounds pretty terrifying.
@KarliQ88 I think a lot of us have had the "my pet is cuddling me, they already know!" moment, no judgment.
@MamaMunn I'm so sorry about the diagnosis, but it's great you have a plan moving forward. PCOS is treatable, and it sounds like you have a proactive doctor. Giant creepy internet hugs to you, I hope all your tests go well!
@AMGreely Sorry about the BFN, but you're right, you're super early in testing. You still have some time yet before you're out.
@BecauseLove Creamy CM is normal, I get it after O. It usually sits on top of fabric and dries rather than being absorbed by the fabric like watery CM, so that's what the white strip is. Sorry you've been feeling dizzy and constipated, maybe drinking more water will help. I hope you feel better soon!
@Lecool Your chart is still pretty! Fx for you!
@TheRealVeronicaSawyer Yay for spring break! I hope you have a great trip!
@jmr1515 Welcome back! I'm so glad you said you're not temping this cycle. I have pretty reliable CM/OPKs also, and DH and I were talking about not temping next cycle because it's been 7ish cycles temping (I started early to get the hang of it) and it really stresses me out, to the point where my temp will effect my mood for that day. I'm glad to hear it's working out well for you, this is a nice vote of confidence for that plan for next cycle.
@TheJerilu The raccoon thing cracked me up. At the zoo they have this whole exhibit of arctic animals - reindeer, a snow fox, polar bears - and they included a raccoon. For years we could never find the raccoon and would joke it wasn't really there, they just had an empty exhibit. We finally saw him and he is a big'un! My college also had an albino raccoon that was pretty famous for strolling around the campus.
@PepperAT Glad your appointment went well! I hope you get more answers at your next one. Also, I don't understand the phrase "fall pregnant."
Month/Cycle: 5/4 (+3 NTNP)
CD/DPO: 25/6
Timing: -2, 0, I'm just glad we got some in after DH got back from his trip!
Testing: Not unless AF is late... and I just realized I'll be out of town visiting some college friends when AF is supposed to hit
R/R/CS: I could not sleep last night, so I'm pretty cranky.
**I'm not sure if I should do a TW for this - TV show pregnancies?**
Also, DH and I have been re-watching Scrubs, and I did not remember this, but Carla went through several episodes where she was having a hard time (though I think they say she only tried maybe 2 or 3 cycles) TTC. It was nice to be able to watch that and feel more normal - until she found out she was pregnant and everyone at the hospital knew. I definitely teared up, and DH was really sweet about it. Same with How I Met Your Mother, I'm right at the point where they see all the doppelgängers and decide to start trying, Lily makes a comment about how she has to take her temperature and OPKs and such. I don't remember that at all from the last time I watched HIMYM, but I know she eventually gets pregnant. I guess I just thought it was interesting what we notice now that we're TTC.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? I love this GTKY, seeing the gifs has brightened my cranky little soul today! Ever since I was a kid, one of my favorite zoo exhibits - and this is a weird one, I know - has been the naked mole rats. I just think they're so funny.
Also, I'm almost 5'11 and DH is 6'6 (and the shortest male in the family), and we both really like the giraffes.
I also really like the arctic animals.
I guess the point is, I really like animals, the zoo is one of my favorite places! Of course, the good beer they have there helps.
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.

R/R/CS: I think I mentioned this in WTO but I think I'm getting my hopes up too much this cycle. I know if/when I get AF or a BFN I am going to be crushed. Not sure how to talk myself down. Last cycle I was just more chill and kept the right attitude.
GTKY: What's your favorite animal? All animals!! I do love dolphins though and am one of those people who advocate for their rights (ie. right to not be enslaved in a pool for our entertainment or stolen from their family pods to work for tourists at silly dolphinariums). There is compelling scientific reasons why they should not be in captivity and I get sick whenever I hear about people swimming with dolphins at resorts etc. I had the chance to swim with a pod of 200+ wild dolphins in New Zealand on my honeymoon. It was the most amazing experience of my life. They are not forced to work for their food day in and day out - they are 100% wild. They are free but still want to interact with us which is so cool. In NZ the tour boats follow strict regulations and do not do anything to encourage the dolphins to come to the boat (ie. do not feed them etc.) Anyway, mini-rant there - my apologies.
