High HCG, low progesterone

Has anyone else been put on progesterone supplements? How's it working out for you? 
My hcg at 19dpo was 2100 (good!) 
but the Drs office called and said they'd like me on progesterone ASAP. Anyone else have this happen before? This is the first time I've had early blood work done (2 previous mcs), so it's all new to me. Thanks!

@LaurenDarling , I am in the same stage as you. Had blood work done yesterday (also 2 pmmc) so I am waiting for results. I have heard a lot of success stories of women that got their rainbow once put on progesterone supplements (a few friends), FX for stickies for us too! 
I also would like to hear the answer from PGAL ladies that have recently gone through this.

 Hi ladies, I don't have personal experience with this but I've read a lot of threads about it.  Right about 4-5weeks a lot of threads pop up on the BMB's.  I've seen many many success stories of ladies put on progesterone for the first trimester. I remember in September 16 quite a lot of ladies were on progesterone if you want to search that board. Good luck!

They put me on Progesterone as soon as I knew I was pregnant, didn't even do the blood work yet.  It was a precaution.  I was on them until 14wks.  When they did do my blood work at 4 and a half weeks my progesterone levels were really high I think 47 if I remember right.  I didn't have any side effects, but my cousin did tell me it can make you sleepy so I took them at night just in case.

I put on progesterone with my last pregnancy, after 2 mc. I was on the oral suppluments until 12 weeks.my levels never got really high, but it kept me pregnant I had my baby in November2015

I was put on progesterone after my 2nd pregnancy. Unfortunately, the baby never developed. This time my HCG was 508 and progesterone is 47.6. As a precaution, I started progesterone that evening. Fingers crossed this baby sticks.

I was put on progesterone suppositories with my second preg as well - I had a very similar experience as
@CRJones1978 did - it wasn't the most pleasant experience (I wish I had had the oral option) but they did it as a precaution to help and my numbers did increase with the supplement. Fingers crossed for you!!

I had 2 miscarriages so my RE put me on progesterone suppositories as a precaution. My progesterone levels were not that great, although my BETA levels were rising right on track. Progesterone supplements have helped me a lot this pregnancy. I'm 12 weeks today and I'll be able to stop taking them by the end of the week. It sucks having to remember them 3 times a day (& they're messy) but this is the most successful pregnancy I've ever had, so no complaints here!

I'm still waiting to learn if this baby sticks. My HCG is going up, and then down and then up and then down. My progesterone dropped even while on suppositories. I go for the next ultrasound on Monday. Everything crossed.

I opted to take it last pregnancy because my progesterone levels were borderline. I took the pill and had a bad reaction after a few days. Next time, I'd try the suppository. I know plenty of women irl who have gone on to have beautiful healthy children after taking progesterone. Good luck.
