FWW (First World Wednesday!)

Hey I haven't seen this thread yet, but it was super fun on my last BMB. Give us all your first world problems ladies!

I'll start: We are getting the interior doors in our house replaced but there is going to be 5 days between taking the old ones down and putting the new ones up. This has me irritated beyond belief. Also I ran out of regular bread today and had to use a heal.

I forgot the cream cheese for my bagel that I wanted to eat for lunch today, so I had to go out and buy my lunch.

I feel guilty for playing hookie from work today, but I'm totally chilling on the couch doing nothing.

My son has too many toys. He would rather play with an empty box or shred a paper towel. I'm going to purge them alllllll. My MIL gifts these things that have 1,000 pieces to them like train tracks and car tracks and effing all this crap that I step on that's too advanced for him now. I've asked her multiple times not to.

This time she brought crayons down and he tried to eat them. Now I've got to keep track of that crap. I'm setting them on fire.

A close college friend has offered to fly my family to the east coast for a get together (my closest friends are getting together).  Now I need to decide if I should go alone, bring just my almost 2 year old, or if my whole family should go, and the decision is making me crazy!  I was practically in tears yesterday.  My life is so hard :P

On vacation and can't decide if I want to wear the bikini with the skirted bottom, the belted bottom or just the little tiny tie at the sides bottom. So many choices. Side note my boobs are now up to a 34ddd. I can't even see my bottoms.

Working from home, and one of my co-workers scheduled a video conference....so now I have to get dressed and presentable. That was not part of the plan today!

I saw a really cute pair of bunny ears for kids in the dollar section at Target last week but decided not to get them. Then saw an adorable group of toddlers having an egg hunt in the park when we were walking our dog this morning and a bunch of them were wearing bunny ears (so cute!), so I decided I wanted to get them for DS, but when we went this afternoon they didn't have them anymore.

My kids' nanny is being whiny and needy today (I work from home). There's a lot to love about a younger woman taking care of the kids, but sometimes the immaturity gets to me and I want to be like "put on your big girl panties, mkay?"

I was going to have cereal for dinner tonight but I ran out, so I had to make a fruit salad instead because it was the only other thing that sounded good and I didn't want my fruit to go bad. But all that cuttinggggggg.......

I saw a commercial like this the other day. The woman had on a shirt & blazer. When she stood up, she was wearing pajama pants. Great idea!

@kns1988  I did the same thing! Then I had to bring them both back up the driveway. Full! The worst! Haha

Fixer uppers with a baby suck. UNLESS you intend on hiring everything out. It may suck less then.

@nauticallife And I have two toddlers. My husband is leaning towards the fixer upper, he's a construction guy so he'd do it himself. I like the remodeled one but it's at the top of our budget so slightly intimidating. We've been in a fixer upper when my first was 18 months and I hated it and it was a much smaller house than this one so it got done quicker. I definitely feel ya on the babies and constant construction.

We did pan-seared steak for dinner for our dinner guest friend of H's who rarely eats meat and has a hard time with it.  I discovered this fact when I asked him if how done he wanted his a few minutes before they came out of the oven.

Edit: maybe an unpopular opinion, but I'd NEVER do that when I'm a guest in someone's home. I'd either push it around on my plate, hiding bits in my napkin or choke it down. So rude.

I got a Easter Egg filled with candy from my colleague and forgot it at work. I have 5 days off and have to buy my own candy...which sucks coz my snowflake doesn't like candy! 
Instead I eat meat and I'm a vegetarian! This 'snowflake' inside me is killing me.

So it's Thursday but...... I have 8 weeks worth of roots and grey coming in. Since highlights aren't going to help this situation, I'm trying to live with it for another ~4 weeks until I'm out of the first tri. I miss my hairdresser

Aww I didn't mean to make him sound bad!  It was actually ok, he just asked me to make his more well done.  He ate all of it, complimented us on it and was really thankful for us doing all of that for him.  This was a friend of my H's very distant past who he hadn't seen in years and was around long enough for dinner.  We rarely cook meat, but we thought with it being a special occasion haha..

we are house hunting and I just want an open layout with kitchen and living room together and OPEN, why is this so hard to find? ugh... I'm beginning to think I will never find "the one" and then people are stressing me out by saying I'll know it's the one when it's the one but what if I DON'T lol I think hormones are getting me crazy on this one...

Fixer Upper has ruined me as well. I'm just looking for a rental at the moment (military life) and I hate them all. They'd all be perfect if I could tear down a wall and change every aspect of the entire house. Oh! And we can't forget the shiplap. Gotta have that.
