How are you feeling: Great! Occasional queasiness and fatigue, but can't complain.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Got my Doppler last week and it's been SO reassuring to hear my pumpkin's heartbeat whenever I so desire. ♥
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? This is a toughie since I love all animals, but I LOVE cats and dogs. Pugs are my favorite breed and I have 2 Calico cats.
Mommy to Gabriel (12) and Isaiah (10) and Step-Mommy to Danely (17), Diego (9) and Leo (4). Trained doula going for certification!
How are you feeling: The past week has been terrible for the nausea. So bad. But I'm on day 3 of feeling human again the majority of the time so yay for that! Other than that, battling some kind of urinary/vaginal infection, have to wait until Friday to see the dr.
Rants/Raves/Questions: This infection is making life very uncomfortable blegh but so happy to make it to 12 weeks!! End of the first tri is in sight!
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? Horses and dogs! I used to ride when I was young, I miss it so much!
How are you feeling: Felt so good with no symptoms for weeks 10-11, but nausea has come back the past 3 days bad!! Had my 12 week checkup today and got a surprise ultrasound and heart rate sounds great! So excited and grateful to have made it this far. Gained 10lbs in weeks 4-7, but just went back and lost 6 from the nausea. Hoping these symptoms will level off now.
Rants/Raves/Questions: When will my raging hormones calm down?!?
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? definitely cats because we have 4 of them.
How are you feeling: Still nauseous in the evenings and SUPER irritable all.the.time.
Rants/Raves/Questions: My husband asked, as I stood staring at my closet for 10 minutes, if I was having trouble wardrobing. 100% yes! I just feel bloated but I know it is to the point of being a little more than that. It is getting increasingly difficult to dress for work.
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? To look at or to interact with? I think large cats are fascinating and beautiful but I don't want to interact with them!
How are you feeling: The Nausea (I've made it a proper noun since it's controlling my life) varies from moderate to you-have-to-be-freaking-kidding-me. But I never actually throw up, so there's that. The constant hunger seemed to slow down this week until today. I woke up starving and have alternated between being incredibly queasy to wanting to eat everything all day.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I had to fly to Columbus this week for work and woke up the first morning in the hotel with a horrible cold, which has made for a very long week. I just want my own bed and pillows.
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? I love all animals, and we have a dog and a cat that are a part of the family. In fact, my parents call them their grandpuppy and grandkitty.
How are you feeling: Tired all the time but have insomnia at night, still nauseous here and there and major food aversions
Rants/Raves/Questions: Excited and incredibly anxious for my first appt tomorrow, just don't want a repeat of last time so I'm trying to think happy thoughts!
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? Penguins!!!
Week: 9 (10 weeks based on the calendar, but based on my ultrasound a couple of weeks ago I'm at 9)
How are you feeling: Reeaaally tired. I have been having trouble sleeping at night, but still getting 8ish hours and barely making it through the day. A few headaches here and there, but the fatigue has been the worst symptom lately. I am worrying about not getting enough exercise, but been working on that as much as I can. Hopefully the fatigue will ease up soon! I also am still constipated and bloated, but some days are better than others.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I am having such a hard time keeping it a secret at work! I feel like if my boss and co-workers knew, some things going on would make more sense - my forgetfulness (on little stuff), my lack of patience sometimes, etc. I know I haven't been myself, despite how hard I try, and I just can't wait to tell them in a few weeks.
This might be a weird question, but do any of you ever worry if you are eating enough? I have always (pre-pregnancy) had a hard time with food, either eating too much or too little, and I am trying to stay mindful of my weight gain rate (and cholesterol levels...that has been high for a while). But in my staying mindful of all that, sometimes I worry that I'm not eating enough. I am finally back to enjoying veggies, so that has been good, and working to get more protein in my diet, but not sure if, in general, I am just eating enough. I know in the first trimester you're only supposed to eat a little bit extra, but just curious, what are your meals looking like these days? (Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere).
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? We have four cats, so I'd say they are my favorite. I love dogs too, but have always been more of a cat person. (I was so glad to hear from my bloodwork that I am immune to toxoplasmosis....guess that's what happens when you're a crazy cat lady haha. Hubby is still scooping the litter box though ).
Me: 31 DH: 32 Married April 2014 TTC since December 2015 1st BFP: February 8, 2016; MMC at 7 weeks, 3 days; Discovered at 10 weeks; D&C March 25 2nd BFP: June 20, 2016; CP June 22, 2016 3rd BFP: August 13, 2016!! Fingers crossed!!
@natsfan2442 I definitely don't have the most helpful answer but i just make sure to listen to my body more and eat when I'm hungry, even if it's something little. I used to skip meals all the time (mostly because I'm lazy lol also not a morning person) and wasn't good at keeping hydrated at all, but now I make sure not to ignore my body when I need something.
As long as you're doing that and eating normal amounts I think you're good. Like you mentioned, they say you don't really "need" extra calories in the first tri, and then 300 extra in 2nd tri and 500 in third. Also, I'd mention it to your dr if you're concerned to see what they say
@LGW2015 everything went so well today for the US! They said I was 10w 3D rather than 10w 1D so now my ticker will change on Mondays. Nice strong heartbeat and I swear I was holding my breath waiting for that flutter. I'm going to check this one every Wednesday though anyway to see how everyone is doing!

Rants/Raves/Questions: My DD decided all of a sudden to stop sleeping through the night. So that's been fun.
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? Foxes! But mainly for decor and stuff....I don't want one for a pet or anything.
*lurker from Sunday ticker change*
Is it weird I feel so honored you took my GTKY question? hahaa

How are you feeling: Almost normal! My energy has mostly come back. Still having some food aversions, but that's getting better as well.
Rants/Raves/Questions:I don't think I have a bump. But the bloat/blump is driving me batty. I feel like a stuffed sausage.
GTKY (stolen from Sunday): What is your favorite animal? Dogs. I would have a dog farm if my husband would let me.
