I have a healthy 2 year old son and we started trying for baby #2 last fall. We got pregnant right away and the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage around 6 weeks. I passed everything naturally, I had a normal period, and we got pregnant again. December 23rd we went in for our 8 week ultrasound and there was no baby. I had an emergency D&C on 1/7/16 after crazy, uncontrollable bleeding. My doctor referred us to a specialist the next week and he ran every blood test imaginable; all came back normal. My first period after the D&C was a nightmare and lasted 2 weeks. I was due for my period last week and bled for about 4-5 days. I continued to spot after so I called my clinic yesterday and the first thing she told me to do was take a pregnancy test. I said it was crazy but took it anyway. Sure enough, it showed I was pregnant within about 10 seconds. I then went to the clinic for blood work and my hcg was at 1903. I go back tomorrow to check the hcg level again. I'm completely confused, feel like I already lost this pregnancy when I didn't even know it existed. 
Anyone have similar experiences?

What a roller coaster! I am sorry for your losses and for the anxiety you must be facing. I have no advice, but am interested to know what you learn tomorrow. The one thing we seem to all be able to say is nothing after a MC is predictable. Good luck!

How stressful! No, I don't have similar experience, but I will be thinking of you and hoping the third time is a charm and your baby is healthy and strong in there.

Hi- I am sorry for your losses and can imagine the stress you are going through. My RE told me bleeding patterns after MC and d&c are very unpredictable and complicated. I do hope everything works out for you and your levels go up. Keep us posted.

My hcg went from 1903 to 1600 so it's confirmed its not a viable pregnancy. The most frustrating part is we weren't even trying, I thought I had a "'normal" period last week and was looking forward to this month to try again. 
After the first two losses, we did blood work and everything came back normal.  I see my dr in about 3 weeks. I have this gut feeling something is wrong, there has to be something.
