We've had a zippy for about a month now and it made for a really smooth transition from the swaddle. No complaints here, except that they are kind of pricey and I wish we had 2, but at the rate he is growing he will move up to a medium pretty soon.
Still swaddling here at 5mo. She breaks out of it every night, but just needs the swaddle for the initial falling asleep. She will not settle and go down without being swaddled.
DS is 17 weeks and we started using the baby merlin magic suit at 14 weeks. He sleeps pretty well in it and he can still chew on his hands. We still swaddle during naps( if his suit is in the wash) and he hates it, but he will just play if left unswaddled
We are now swaddling Griffin with 1 arm out. So far, so good! He does really well with going down with 1 out and he now likes to suck on his fingers/thumb, so it's been good to help with his self soothing in the middle of the night.
Still swaddling at almost 19 weeks old. We have been trying the zipadeezip for naps and it's been a hot mess. We also tried one arm out and it didn't work. He's not rolling yet but know he will soon. Any suggestions?
Still swaddling arms in at 17 weeks here. I'm terrified of when we gotta stop. I tried doing one arm out and she had much harder time falling asleep. If she wiggles out she's fine for the most part. But falling asleep she needs it. She's so sensitive too when I go to move her the swaddle helps. I tried no swaddling for naps and I feel like it only works 10% of the time -_-
Well last night I swaddles one arm out and out the zipadeezip on top and tied off the arm that is swaddled. He was up 3 times so not too bad by nothing compared to his 8-10 hr stretches swaddled. Well let him sleep this way for a week or so and then switch arms.
So the other night I got up at 3am to pee and checked on the little miss on the video monitor. Girl had both arms out of the swaddle and the swaddle was over her face! I of course woke up husband and we went in and reswaddled her. I checked on her again after a few minutes and both arms out and over her face again. So at 3am we threw her in the zipdeezip that I just happened to have washed. She was PISSED about being woken up. But she fell back asleep after a few minutes and has been napping and sleeping in the zipdeezip great ever since! Fingers crossed. Hehe.
I transitioned the 5 month old to the magic sleep suit last night. She slept 9 hours straight. Whether it was the magic of the suit or something else remains to be seen, but man i feel good today!
My little still is being Swaddled.. But breaks out every night and is so pissed about it. I ordered he magic sleep suit and it should be in today!! I am praying for a good night sleep tonight!! I will basically do anything to get longer than 1-2 hours of sleep in a row.... Wish us luck..
My poor little guy has an ear infection so after a week of zipadeezip we are snack to swaddling so everyone can sleep a little bit. Worried about transitioning of it again.
