TMI but wondering if others have the same issue

Hi all,

I haven't really posted tons but I thought I would reach out to mamas who are on somewhat of a same timeline as me. 

I have been breastfeeding my son still 4 times a day. I had bacterial vaginosis awhile back and have been wondering if I got it again because of the amount of discharge I have been having. But, I also just keep thinking it's my body adjusting.

Anyways,  I got my period when he was 9 months and then skipped a month and got it at the end of February. I had it for 6 days, then was normal for 4 days and then I thought I was spotting but it ended up being like a period again for about 5 days. So, here I am 3 days post that and now I'm spotting again and can tell it's getting heavier. 

I am going to call my midwife tomorrow to set up an appointment but just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything like this and can give me a piece of mind.
