My embryo is gone!

Last Thursday I had an ultrasound that showed a 5wk6day embryo measuring 0.27cm. I go back today, one week later, and no embryo is seen but sack is measuring at 6 weeks but empty. I go back next week to hopefully see something. I have had no bleeding. No signs of miscarriage. Anyone else go through this? Within one week it was gone.

sorry you are going through this. It should have measured closer to 7 weeks and had some sort of cardiac activity if you measured at 5w6d a week ago. 
Doesn't sound good.
hooefully they are drawing your blood as well to check your quant

 When I have had a similar scan it did not turn out well. I agree with pp to ask for hcg levels.
