I'm so sorry to hear that. All the waiting and ups and downs are so hard. I measured 10 days behind at my 1st U/S when I should have been 6w6d last Tuesday, and go back this coming Thursday when I should be 8w1d. So I understand how hard it is to wait and get conflicting news.

I don't... I have an "at home kit" for collecting the sample and taking it to the doc for further investigation. Awesome.

Wow. That sounds truly awful. I'm so sorry that you have to go through that. I hope it at least gives you some peace of mind regarding an explanation.
