Cross Country Move

Next week I will be moving from SoCal to Chicago after living in CA for the last 28 years (my entire life)! I'll be driving my car with my 2 year old DS, 2 dogs, and mom who has a driving phobia. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. My husband is still in training for his new job in GA, he got a great opportunity hence the move and has been in GA since October, so I'm all on my own. Still working full time, have to finish (start) packing my moms house, then drive  3-4 days next week all the while PRAYING I don't get MS which I had so bad with my DS from 6-14 weeks. Stopping in Flagstaff, Amarillo and Springfield, MO. Need some prayers please! Anyone else have any crazy life changes coming up? Any other Chicago suburb mamas?

I feel for you! I have to drive my belongings and my dogs all the way to Virginia from NorCal in September:/ I wish you the best and very safe travels(:

My husband is stationed there! & I'm like 4 hours north of SF on the coast.

My brother in law is stationed in VA, Marine Corps and all his pictures are gorgeous.

Fort Bragg exactly... But it's not a base anymore. Hasn't been since before the civil war I believe. And my husband is Navy.

Awesome!! Where exactly? Novato/SR here. Haven't lived there since I joined the military, but it'll always be home!
