At how many weeks can you hear the heart beat?!

I am scheduled for 7 weeks, 2 days. I was 8 weeks, 3 days during baby 1, and could hear the heart beat. Now I'm nervous about not getting a heart beat during my ultra sound. Am I going to early? How early is it 'easy'/ 'a sure thing' to hear a heart beat?!

I am going this week (I'll be one day shy of 7 weeks) I go to a fertility doctor where they use a transvaginal u/s

Heard it at 6w2d via transvag ultrasound this time, heard heartbeat via abdominal ultrasound (i can't remember how early) really early at my dating scan 4-5w last pregnancy

You can't hear it until at least 6 weeks, sometimes later. When I went in for a 5w5d transvaginal my doc could just make out a flickering heartbeat; no way to hear it that soon. You should be good.

I went at 6+2 and saw a very clear heartbeat that was measured at 121 bpm. They didn't give us the option to hear it and I was so obsessed with watching it that I didn't ask if we could listen.

At 6w5d I was able to hear the heartbeat during the US. The tech said that was a bit early, and was surprised to have caught it. I went to a US place that specializes in preinatal imaging, so that might have something to do with it too.

I didn't see one at 5w5d with my daughter, but did by 6 and change. Anything over 6 weeks is usually fine!

Is this 6 weeks after conception or 6 weeks since the first day of your last period?

@CassyColberg 6 weeks after the first day of your last period, assuming you ovulated around CD 14. Otherwise you can think of it like 4 weeks after ovulation.
