Any Facebook Group Interest?

would anyone be interested in joining a secret Facebook group for November 16 moms?

At this point, no. It's just too much to have your real name out there.

There will eventually be a group, and there will eventually be a fight between those on the FB group, and those just using this message board. It happens with every birth board without fail. If you start one now, you will absolutely have people who join. And this post will probably be discussed and picked apart. But it is what it is.

It is way way way WAY too early for sharing real names with Internet strangers. It's so early on this board, but trust me, there WILL be some crazies that come out of the woodwork. Give it some time for us all to get to know each other a little better first!

Hellllllll no. Not this early. Even almost two year in with my last BMB, there was still crazy bitches to weed out.

Um, yeah...no. Not yet.  Down the line sure...but not now. We didn't even start our FB group until we'd all given birth last time!

Oh god no. I'm ALL ABOUT my BMB Facebook group. But we made it several months in and had a crazy screening process.

We started pretty early in my last bmb but definitely not this early.  It's been over two years though and there are still some crazies.

My last BMB had so many crazies. I remember one specifically who believed sandy hook was a conspiracy. Just so effed up.

We definitely need to wait a while. I love the Facebook group from my last pregnancy and I am glad we took a while to get to know each other first.

My Sept 2010 mamas are still some of my best friends but we waited to move it to Facebook until well into the 3rd tri when we had already had months to establish relationships. Even then it was a little painful weeding out some crazies over the first few months. I would love to down the road but for now this is a nice safe happy place.

Wow. Guess I'm the odd ball out. I am 100x more comfortable with posting on Facebook than a public forum! And I really enjoyed getting to know my last birth group from the beginning and going through it all together.

@blendedmommy88 it may be a public forum but (assuming you are careful what you reveal about yourself), it affords a lot more anonymity than Facebook, where your real name, relationships and photos are available. I'm definitely way more comfortable here while we weed out the crazies!

Exactly. I don't need some crazies knowing where I work, who's in my family, etc. People are insane. I don't need to talk shit on my mother in law....and have it sent to my mother in law by some psycho with nothing better to do.

I didn't join a Facebook group with my first BMB until my baby was turning 1.  I feel like that made ours a much calmer group(lots of people had already left to join earlier groups), which I liked.

Yeah, no. Most of us have been burned before. We had a catfish in our last BMB who tried to televise her deception on the actual Catfish show. Wait awhile, you'll be glad for it.

Fb wasn't around for my first bb. But all of us (non crazies) are now friends on there.

I think I would be keen, but I haven't experienced what these other ladies have previously which sounds weird and def something like I would watch on to, I feel sorry for you guys that that's happened. 'll keep an eye out for when someone does start one thought as i prefer Facebook to this I think it's far easier to navigate, and prehaps because I live in such a small country far away from most I don't feel that same need for privacy.

I'm a first timer, but my sister has warned me against the fb groups that start up early. That almost always it ends in drama and nastiness. So I think I'd probably wait to join too :S
