The "teachers" in the babysitting room at the gym love DS. Tell me all the time how sweet he is, what a good listener he is, etc. etc. Sometimes, I just want to say, "Really? This little asshole?" (I love DS more than anything, but he does not listen at home!)
@PeggyOlsonFTW I worked at a gym babysitting center for 8 years. There were so many times we would tell the parents how good or quiet their child was and the looks they gave us were always like "uhh...my kid??" But hey, your son sounds awesome, you must be doing something right, right?
Confession: Country line dancing is my secret love. I used to go twice a week to this country line dancing bar in college. I am going back tonight!! So pumped.
@OrangeEv He's gotta just be one of those kids that listens and behaves at school, just not at home. For example, he's sitting in time out for the third time in two hours for being mean to our dog.
I skipped breakfast and had a caprese sandwich for lunch yesterday. For dinner, DH brought home a baguette and French cheese to celebrate us booking our Paris trip, and since my stomach felt off and I wasn't very hungry, that was all I ate last night. I again did not feel like eating breakfast this morning but a bagel and cream cheese around 11 is starting to sound good.
So my FFFC is I have not had a meal that was not some form of bread and cheese since Wednesday evening, and it looks like that trend is going to continue until at least tonight. I've had a bit of fruit as a snack in between "meals," but still . . .

@PeggyOlsonFTW Our son was put in timeout as he was on his way out the door (he goes to his grandparents' on Fridays) because he kicked me when i told him he couldn't have m&ms for breakfast. But everyone at his school thinks he's this awesome little sweetheart.
@simcal18 99% of my meals since becoming pregnant have consisted of bread, cheese, sauce or pasta. My doctor said it was fine as long as i'm eating. (Pizza everyday!)
Oh dear Lord. Now I'm thinking back to what I ate on Wednesday. For dinner we had grilled chicken and green beans but I was having major indigestion and could only get down about 6 bites. For lunch I had . . . Amy's cheese enchiladas (so enchilada sauce and . . . cheese and carbs.) I have a problem.

I fantasize about beating the crap out of SS's biological mother. I wouldn't actually do it, but it makes me feel better to think about it. That woman is hateful and rude as hell.
@simcal18 I mostly eat burritos and cheeseburgers. I tried to choke a salad down the other day and I almost ralphed. My doctors not thrilled, but I'm not throwing up and I take my Prenatals so she just shakes her head at me. Lol
@PeggyOlsonFTW YES! At the gym, mops, the grocery store, at families houses...he is such an angel and everyone loves him. I'm over here wondering why he isn't taking their kitchens apart or licking their dog food bowls then running away laughing when I say no.
@simcal18Cheese & carbs are on my meal plan too. I have not had anything for dinner this week that wasn't in some way covered in cheese. Monday - cheese enchiladas. Tuesday - pizza. Wednesday - broccoli cheese soup AND two mexi-melts from Taco Bell. Thursday - cheese enchiladas. And I love all the Amy's meals, I have a whole stockpile of them in the freezer at work. The cheese enchiladas and pesto tortellini are my favorites! Can we at least get points because they're "organic"? Ha!
I'm staying at my current OB because they do evening appointments and right now my husbands commute is horrible and getting a sitter for my toddler (somehow they have a no children of any age in the exam rooms rule?) is hard. When we get settled in our new town and closer to the halfway mark, I'm switching to the doctor I want to do my vbac. I don't feel bad and I'm not hiding it from my current office.
I called and told my boss I was running a little late cause MS... It was really cause I decided at the last minute I NEEDED a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from BK.

My doctor wasn't thrilled about my carb consumption either but carbs and fruit is basically all I can choke down! I just want to eat pizza every damn day.
I'm going to a friend's house tonight for dinner even though I'm tired and want to stay home because she's steaming crab legs for dinner. That's literally the only reason why I'm going. She also doesn't know I'm pregnant and I didn't plan to announce for a while so I told her that I can't drink because I'm on an antibiotic. I'm a great friend.
Last night I had a crying fit because my OB office scheduled me for the wrong appointment in 2 weeks and now I am waiting for a call back to see when I can have my NT scan. I cried, like sobbing, last night to DH because I don't want to have to wait longer to see little bean again! It went on for an hour....felt really bad for DH. Now I am sitting here starring at my phone waiting for my call back. If they don't call in an hour I am calling them, I have no time to waste here!

@krzyriver I second the constipation but I just can't put the cheese down! I actually had this talk with FI the other day so every time I eat a piece of cheese now he looks at me with those judging eyes like I have a syringe at my arm haha
My mom and MIL had supper last night and decided they wanted to do Easter together this year, cool! Now MIL wants to go to the beach for the weekend. I told her that DH and I are saving money and have a lot to do around the house and since it's his weekend off, we want to spend time together. I also said I want to go to church and see my dad. Which all of that is true, but the main reason is that I'm lazy and just don't want to go anywhere.
I love cartoons, but I really don't like anime. I understand that it takes talent to make something like that, and there's a HUGE following for some of the shows. DH loves that style, but I just don't enjoy it at all. If that's what you want to watch, then awesome. I'm not the kind of person that will hate on you for it. But it's just not for me.
@krzyriver I caved and called and rescheduled and like I swear said "it's for the NT scan right" like 10 times. I will call and confirm next week as well because I don't trust them now! Sigh they should know better I mean come on we are hormonal pregnant women!

My confession is that I am really sick of hearing about Zika. It's not a problem in the US yet. Might happen, might not. In the meantime, calm the f*$k down.
I am not an overly emotional person so this is especially ridiculous. This morning I was driving in the car and Goodbye Earl came on. I teared up because I thought, oh my best friend would help murder my abusive husband if I had one too. WTF pregnancy hormones lol.
In highschool I worked at chuck e cheese... It was common practice to steal a few toppings off the steaming hot pizza to eat before delivering it to the customer. Also I really want pizza.
On Wednesday my son had the stomach flu. Yesterday he had ear tubes surgery. This morning mommy had bad morning sickness. So we've literally laid in bed for the last three days in our bedroom and watched TV and played on the iPad all day (he'll be 2 in April). I seriously feel like the worlds sh!ttiest mom ever....
And worst part... now he doesn't want to do ANYTHING other than go to our bedroom and point at the TV to tell me to turn it on. This weekend we need a screen time detox and I have a feeling there will be a lot of tantrums.
I am at work and shamelessly stalking the bump and reading and not feeling one bit bad about, I mean it is Friday! Good thing this is anonymous and my boss won't know!
Also I totally could spell anonymous, oops.

My stepson's been really wearing my patience thin lately. He's 15, so right in that "I'm a high schooler, I know everything and you're ruining my life" phase. I have to breathe slowly thru my nose and count to 5 before I respond to everything he says or I'll just be yelling at him all the time. It's probably more my hormones than his attitude, so I feel kind of guilty about it. But when he's being an ass, I don't. Lol
I did no real work all morning, ate lunch, browsed the BMB posts on my phone, ate some candy, now am fighting off the urge to take a nap so I can get paperwork done by the deadline only to not get written up at work. My boobs are just about popping out of my shirt and I wish I could unbutton my pants...this hiding business is getting futile....
I'm sitting here taking a late lunch break (and testing out some non-bread and cheese based food!) and reading the latest 100 or so posts on the March 16 TTGP Grad thread. And I'm loving every minute of the drama. Except @novasaysno getting banned. That seriously sucks.

last night I fell through a worm hole of googling conspiracy theories about Tupac still being alive.
I have done this and was completely convinced he was alive until I tried to explain it to SO and he looked at me like he was concerned for my mental health. It is very intriguing though!
