Chart Stalk (O Date?)

Hi -

I was wondering if anyone who is familiar with charting would like to take a peek at mine? 

While we were TTC for 4 months I only started charting on cycle 4 and so I was wondering if anyone could take a guess as to whether I O'd on the 19th or 20th of Feb?  I got a positive OPK on the 18th and FF says I O'd on the 20th but since I was new to charting I wasn't sure if that seems right or if it was really the 19th.  I know I may never really know but am curious as to others thoughts.  Thanks!!!

You have really clear thermal shift on CD12, so I agree with FF. You do have open circle on both CD11 and CD12, so I suppose there's a chance either or both could be unreliable. There's no way to know though, and one day doesn't make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things, so I'd stick with CD11.

ETA: if the OPK is the only reason you're wondering, it is definitely possible to not ovulate until the second day after a positive.

I agree with FF. It matches with the thermal shift, the CM, and the OPK.  A positive OPK usually means O can happen within the next couple of days which looks like is what happened on CD11.

@riversong15 and @mollysm and @shallowseas Thank you all for replying so quickly!  I felt FF was right since you know - it's what the app does lol but wanted to check in.  As RiverSong said 1 day isn't going to make or break anything but I was more curious than anything. 

PLUS (confession time) that changes my DD to 11/12 which is my Ex's Bday and that makes me get side eyed, even though it's been over 14 years since we were together lol.

FWIW, your doctors office may go by LMP, regardless of your O date. They'd assume you ovulated on CD14. Unless your dating scan shows you a week ahead or more, they may stick to LMP regardless.

@RiverSong15 yes I'm pretty sure they will go off of LMP but based on doing OPK's for the prior months (even before charting) I'm fairly certain I always O before the 14th. 

If I go off LMP my DD is 11/16, not a big difference and in the end the baby will come when it wants to come lol.  Thanks again!
