Pack 'n Play Mattress?

Has anyone purchased a mattress for a Pack 'n Play? Our LO currently sleeps in his PnP in our room (until he just joins us in our bed), and he hates the thin, cheap playard pad that came with it (can't say I blame him). He wakes up within 30 minutes of being laid down, and he used to sleep through the night in his bassinet. I'm looking into buying either a 3" or 5" mattress for it. Any recommendations for a PnP mattresses from mommas who have them? We have a Graco Pack 'n Play. Thanks in advance!

I didn't like the mattress pad thing that came with ours either - I couldn't imagine it was comfortable! So this doesn't answer your question specifically, but I laid a comfy blanket on it, and tucked a sheet over that so it's snug and it's much more comfortable.

My daughter used a pack n play for naps at daycare so I bought her a mattress on Amazon. I'm guessing it's the three inch one. Way more comfortable than just the board that comes with it.

This is what I did for my girl and she was very happy with it

We have the Graco Pack N Play as well and I bought the Dream on Me 5" inner spring playard mattress to replace the thin pad, and it does fit well without gaps. But I had a harder time finding a sheet that would fit it, and ended up using a regular crib sheet and tucking it underneath the mattress.  I think it's worth getting the mattress especially when baby sleeps in it for quite a bit of time! I'm sure the 3" will work well too.  Good luck!

I did the Dream on me mattress as well. American baby makes pack and play sheets that you can get on amazon. Also reccomend the quilted sheet on top of the mattress, under the regular sheet. The mattress is great but the quilted sheet makes it much softer than just a sheet over the mattress.
