Pregnancy Test Crazy

I found out I was pregnant last Thursday and have already taken three tests. I want to take another one today... Am I crazy?? It just makes me happy to see those little lines of happiness!! I've saved a digital test for a couple of weeks time so I can take it and make sure that the weeks pregnant has gone up!! Hahaha! I can't ve alone on this, I just love to know my little lovebug is doing well!!

Hahah, not crazy at all.
And I only say that because I took 7 test before I believed it was real in the course of 4 days  
The other 5 test I still had left I gave away...as if I didn't I probably would have used them too!

Not crazy.  With my 1st I only took 2, one to find out and the other a couple of days later to confirm since the first was super faint.

With this one I took 3 just on the 1st day and then 2 more the following morning because the others were dollar store test and I didn't really believe them lol 

Based on my O date I will be 5 weeks tomorrow I have no symptoms so far so I've been getting the itch to test again...I may cave today and go with the weeks one.

I've tested way more with this one than with my last. I have so many cheapies that i don't feel too bad. I have also been peeing on OPKs. Lol.

I have taken a test everyday since I got my positive a week and a half ago.

I used cheapies for a week. I actually went out and got some with the weeks estimator the other day just because I needed to know everything was okay. I searched threads about them prior and realized they are between 45%-99% accurate on weeks estimator. According to LMP I was 5 weeks 5 days yesterday and I got 2-3 on the estimator. I was happy with this because I had a loss at 5 weeks 5 days a couple years ago and I know I had a really low HCG at that point.

You are definetely not alone, I found out Saturday and have taken 4 so far. Three FRER (every other day, one Sat, one Mon and one We'd) and one digi with weeks estimator. I have two more weeks estimator ones that I am saving because I want to see the weeks go up. Will probably take one this week (tomorrow or Saturday) and one next week. Trying to take them a week apart. LoL

@mrsasolomonLmao I'm with you girl,we've gotten through exactly the same process. just took another cheapy, the little blue line is a lovely sight haha. I have a docs appointment on Tuesday so I won't take another one yet. But I'm.going to take a digital one next weekend bexause then I should be 3 weeks plus rather than 2-3.  Only 35 weeks of this crazy to go hahaha!!

I tested every day last week after the first positive on Sunday. I'm down to every other day this week. I have one more cheap test for tomorrow and a final digital on Sunday then I hope to calm down with the testing. We'll see...

I had some cheapies left so I take them a lot!  I only have one now though, so I'm going to wait until I've actually missed my period.

With my first I went through probably a dozen tests. This time I've taken 3...so far I just can't help it. I like to see those "lines of love" getting darker and darker, too

I am pretty sure I've taken 10 since last Friday - last Saturday I took 4.... I have two left, and I just love to see the line get darker. I'll probably take another one tomorrow, it hasn't fully sank in yet!

I took 20, and more than half were digital.  It was fun!  Think I'm finally done now at 6w1d.  Just FYI on the weeks estimator one, I took one at almost 6 weeks and it still said 2-3.  My HCG came back around the same time at 4,300.

I've been taking one daily since I found out! Last one today I think when the line on frer finally went darker then the control line, that's what I have been waiting to see I don't know why I keep taking as I am having betas done so I know my levels, if dh let me I would take more and more until our 7 week scan

Guys!!! I took my digi test I was saving!!! 3 weeks plus!!!! I'm so happy. My last pregnancy didn't get past the 2-3 weeks reading!! Ahhhhhhh yay guys yay!!!

I took my last test last night. Preg line showed up way before the test line so I guess I know it's real. (Just kidding, I will need constant reminders)

This thread has been feeding my crazy ... finally broke down and burned my last test yesterday. Had a minor melt down when I had a super faint test line. 

Aaaaaand the stick was upside down.  Control line was faint. Whoops. Probably won't be testing again after that.

@hFab14 Hahahaha brilliant. I had a simular experience yesterday. Hadn't tested in a few days and was in yhe service station on yhe way back from London grabbed a couple of line test and skipped to the toilet. Almost missed the stick completely on the first attempt so no lines appeared because I'd peed on the windows!!! So then opened the the second pack and dipped it in the pee in the toilet....  I KNOW CRAZY PREGNANT LADY. Soooo no lines appeared had a complete panic, binned the tests left the toilet. Headed back to the toilet 5 mins later, opened the sanitary bin (I know i know) grabbed the test and there was a line HOORAY!!  just to be sure did a digi yest when I finally got home, and got 3 plus weeks hooray!! Definately pregnant, definatly progressing! Can't believe I had the meltdown in tge service station toilets haha. Oh pregnant life!

6 weeks pregnant....and still testing every day. Whatever, it makes me happy, and I'm using up my wondfos. I'll stop after my ultrasound.

I had a super box o' tests from Amazon. I bought it, I'll pee on 'em if I wanna. And I wanna.

I had a smug mug when the test line was darker than the control line last time. I don't think I've ever seen that dude. 


In all seriousness, I have spent years staring at negative tests. I remember those moments alone, that absolute crushing disappointment. Seeing a positive test is like a balm for that. That can't be a bad thing.

I was trying to get myself to stop and then I had a total meltdown that my back pain=miscarriage. I finally went out and bought some FRERs today and peed and it was MUCH darker than Friday's FMU test. If it's crazy to reassure myself everyday that things are going fine, then I don't want be sane. Overnighting myself some WONDFOS so that I won't be spending a million dollars every time.

I only got to test 3 times before I ran out of Wondfos :-( I guess its good because otherwise Id be testing every day but I really missing seeing the line get darker ha ha. Oh well I start getting Betas as of tomorrow so at least that will give me something to track!

I have 3 different ones sitting on my bathroom counter at home to remind the hubs that this is real. I also use a Wondfo basically every morning to remind myself. That second line is magical

Also, @thatlauragirl -Hello and welcome to the group! Glad to see you have some clear positives; however, the appropriate place to post photos of HPTs is here. While I personally am not bothered by photos of used HPTs, it's against TB guidelines to post them outside of the previous thread mentioned. Just wanted you to be aware.

I have one FRER left. So I am trying REAAAAAAAAAL hard to save it because if I use it, Ill have to go spend a ton of money on more to satisfy myself. Seriously so happy I am not the only crazy one here!

Wow, you ladies are awesome! I thought I was crazy cuz I've taken at least one everyday for the past 2 weeks. I got a pack of 25 cheapies for 99 cents on Amazon. They expire in September, so why not? And yes, I've gotten 2 different boxes of the weeks estimator tests because I had to see that "3+". I never got to 3+ with my last miscarriage either, so it was really important to me to get there. It's been almost a week and I wanna buy more! Too bad the battery on those things runs out after a day. I'm always so bummed when the words disappear!

@thatlauragirl No need to say sorry! Again it didn't bother me and I totally understood your point. I just wanted you to be aware so you weren't giving anyone (a random BSC person or troll) the opportunity to report you for a "violation". Just trying to extend a courtesy since I would want the same if I wasn't aware of the rule.

Yea I don't necessarily agree with there being no exceptions to that rule. If it's not used to ask "OMG am I pregnant?!" or to wave it in anyone's face who is TTC, then I don't find it offensive. But, I wanted her to know so that she wasn't giving anyone the opportunity to report her. Given the way the post was done I would hope that no one would, but we do get trolls and random BSC people from time to time.

QUESTION:  I've got the itch and will be going to pick up a digi at lunch.  Here is my question.  Have any of you taken the weeks estimator digi not on your FMU?  If so, did you do a 4 hour hold? 

I'm only asking because I'd hate to buy the test, take it and get less than 3+ only because I didn't do a hold.  That would get me all types of anxious.

Please disregard my PP.  I went and got the weeks estimator test and did a 4 hour hold and it came up 3+ weeks!!!

@TrulyBlessed22 just saw your message!!! My test was 3 plus, last pee of the day and with the smallest amount of pee possible!! If those hormones are raging they can't hide! Go team!
