Very Light Spotting

So I have an apt tomorrow so I don't want to freak out too much.... but this morning I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed very lighy pink spotting. But when I wiped again there was nothing. Baby has been moving fine this morning and I have had no pain or anything. I am a little worried though thanks to my friend google. I'm out of town for Spring Break break until my dr apt when we head back tomorrow morning. So I don't know if I should seek medical attention here in the town we are at... or just wait until tomorrow and let my doctor know then. Anyone else experience very light pink spotting?

You might want to call your doctor and see what he/she wants you to do. My doctor told me to call for any blood. They may feel comfortable with you waiting until tomorrow but they might want you to see someone. Better safe than sorry!

Spotting can be normal as long as its not a lot or bright red. Your cervix can become very irritated easily especially in the 3rd trimester. Also if you had sex the past few days it can lead to spotting which is totally normal. As long as its light and you don't have any pain I wouldn't worry. Just mention it at your appointment. If you're still concerned call your OB office and ask their advice and see if they think its worth being seen elsewhere in the meantime.

Seconding what the pp have said. Spotting is likely nothing but you need to call your OB/midwife to discuss with them. If you have had sex or a strenuous bowel movement that could have caused irritation and is normal but it's still something you should discuss with a medical professional.

I would definitely call your doc just to get their opinion. Probably is nothing, but at least they're aware and can advise you whether you should seek help or just wait until tomorrow.

If you plan to wait until tomorrow, make sure to seek immediate attention if you have cramping or contracting!

very random question, but since the spotting wasn't there when you wiped a second time, is it possible your urine was pink? early on in this pregnancy I had eaten a beet salad for dinner and then my urine was tinged pink the next morning. I freaked out thinking it was blood.

I called the nurses area at my doctor. Waiting to hear back on what I should do if anything. Not sure if it was my urine... I don't remember eating anything pink or red recently. Thanks guys will let keep y'all updated.

Agree could be your urine or even a UTI.

I agree with pp-- it's good that you called your doctor. It could be nothing but irritation, could be a UTI, or something else.

Another random ???... but have you shaved down there recently? I have noticed not that I cant see what the heck I am doing, I must be nicking myself more, and noticing blood the 1st time I go to the bathroom afterwards. It freaks me out every time. Hoping you and little girl are ok!

Nurse said should be fine. They'll follow up at my appointment tomorrow though and obviously if it gets any worsr to seek immediate attention at L&D. But so far its just been that once this morning. And no @yogahh I haven't shaved recently down there. I can't see so I have no idea whats going on down there.. I may just need to invest in a wax soon

I had this happen around 25 weeks and just had a massive uti. They were amazed I wasn't having any other signs or symptoms. Hoping it's nothing more (and not even that!) for you!

I did not call last time I had this and waited... Got told off for it. 
Any bleed: Give them a ring, just in case.

Random and weird TMI question...Have you shaved down there lately? I ask this bc the other day I saw some light blood on my poise and totally had a freak out until I remembered I recently shaved and had nicked myself somewhere down there (bc of course I can't see anymore).

I echo what PP's have said if this is not the case to call your doctor.
